  1. It's more likely they will add new encounters rather than messing with the old ones. Maybe one of the Living World expansions could update the bosses but I doupt it.
  2. Then you only add your party to que once you have got the correct prerequisite roles filled. Its not that hard to understand how this system could work. It's just another way to find party members for content that would otherwise be hidden behind the LFG Panel. I mean who has time to wait for a group especially if you want to help people when you have to permanently scroll through each LFG drop down.
  3. Yeah so we need a proper LFG queuing system not one tied to an event timer rather it should be designed around filling a particular role like DPS/Support/Healer.
  4. Barely anyone does that content, probably because they don't know it exists since you have to que for it in a particular location. It sometimes doesn't fill up and you end up with only a handful of people playing since it's on a timer. The LFG system is the only place to do this content correctly (Dragon Response missions or something)
  5. I guess I am suggesting something so nebulas only Arena Net will know if it can truly work. Who knows the PvP/WvW queuing system can even be used for PvE content. Oh, well it was just an idea no harm in it.
  6. The point is the game can no use and benefit from an LFG Queuing System. Of course, what we have now works, largely because it is the only system.
  7. They already are reworking the game, look how many Elites got support boons after EoD launched. A year ago, I would say an LFG queuing system would not work since we didn't have defined roles, but now we do.
  8. I just want something better so this it is all just a suggestion. Other games can do an LFG queing systems so I don't know why GW2 can't. I haven't really seen a single good reason against other than I don't like and won't use it. I'm sure a large majority of the player base would love a better more established Raiding/Strike system. If Arena Net balance end-game content for Tank/Healer/DPS/Support roles (which they are) then this implementation would be great. For anything unique the Raid leader wants he can find it in the old LFG system.
  9. Only if he uses it wrong, people tend find the Supports first anyway before exposing the party to the DPS. When i have raided with statics this is how we did it.
  10. Then recruit the people you need first. Im assuming if someone has picked all roles they have the capability of switching. If they can't then they can kicked by the consensus much like if it happened in the normal LFG.
  11. Yeah give us complete control and then if we want we can automate the skills we don't care for controlling.
  12. Racial skills are designed not to better than the core class skills. Again the main downside the Sylvari Hounds is the longer cooldown. Im pretty sure when I looked into this it only was higher dps at the start of a fight.
  13. You don't really need Kill Proofs. I mean for the longest time I was depositing them into the guild since I had no idea I was supposed to keep them. That aside no one has really asked for them these days since most Raids/Strikes are pretty easy. This is kind of my point. This content is no longer requiring a very strict highly organised static group.
  14. A squad member can que the group (or just himself) and pick the roles he wanted. The opposite is a solo player can pick a role with a tick box like a healer and quickness then que as that role (not starting a new group) This would mirror what we have now but the advantage is it would help a solo player who let's say just wants to play Healbrand find a group. They won't have to sit with LFG open or wait in a group for more than 20 minutes.
  15. You would at least be able to wait in a que rather than a lobby. It could also give an artificial indication of the time it takes to find a group like it does for PvP. Im also not saying that they should remove the old system rather it should be exactly like PvP. Your LFG party could que for more members, let say DPS once your party has its core Support members.

  17. Half the advice is just trolling you. To put it purely is just practice and not the spamming ranked over and over kind. Take your time each day to learn something new and you will get better without getting to frustrated.
  18. Maybe it's all just a suggestion, I guess when I do get to play at peak hours over the weekend I would like it to be that much faster.
  19. I believe it's only initially but Entangled is better due to how low the cooldown is. All the benchmarks use it at the very least. I guess you could argue that it is better if you were pure power DPS.

  21. I don't think he is suggesting tool belt skills would work underwater on Mechanist but I do want Mech to work underwater regardless.
  22. EU has vastly superior numbers but I am going off the PvP rankings. I play on US and in particular the times I like to play in New Zealand are some of the lowest population times. If I'm right before reset for US has the highest playtime, well that's my mid day so I'm at work.
  23. Does anything stop people doing that now? I'm not saying when your que pops you have to play with the people that end up in your party. The que only helps you find the party not how it is run. I'm mostly just sick of waiting around in LFGs, I guess I could start my own and just do something else for an hour or so but honestly that doesn't work all the time since people get sick of waiting and leave. I mean I guess I ultimately don't know what it will take, my observation is based on finally having a good Raid/Strike experience. I noticed with the advent of more classes being able to provide boons it has drastically made this content more accessible. The last hurdle is the LFG system which needs and overhaul.
