  1. We are going to say that high dps with high sustain along with teleports which ignore line of sight as de La Creme, need to be removed. Either high dps or high sustain. Not both together.
  2. Actually when I was fighting as Core Shout Guardian support with Mace/Shield + Staff,Zerk/Maru Thief could kill me, and I could kill him with mace. What really mattered here was personal skill and ability to bait-out certain skills from each other to make opponent more exposed to attacks.That was before Balance patch.

  4. People will never acknowledge having fun when they play with a Custom build against Meta build and can't beat it because what matters is build and not personal skill and knowledge on the game. As it may happen in some cases, Meta builds should be 5~10% better than Custom builds due to synergy with teammates. Not 60~100% better on every single encounter...

Then let's cut the balancing by half and remove all amulets and introduce gear stats in PvP and have it working like in WvW?Like what's the deal with not doing it?Because we'll have few more vendors? Small scale fights in WvW are more balanced than those ridiculous Metas in PvP for years we have... It's not about whining like a little kitten, but this was supposed to be fun game no? You are saying that balance is the best since pre-HoT - then why we have less viable builds now and we have ten times more CC spams than we had back then? You do realize that because of this approach of killing the build diversity and making fights frustrating due to massive amount of CC spams, the PvP community is in such smaller state and is more toxic? And also Anet with it's balancing decisions becomes more of a hypocrite...
  6. The entire idea of giving any of those passives more than 30 seconds is stupid. Passives should be passives, tweaking certain aspects of the builds - as it was back when we had points to distribute over traits (not perfect, but hundreds of times better than now). And not be hidden utilities with auto activation...as it's now. If you're giving those passives more than 30 seconds of cooldown then you're destroying their purpose, because you want passives to either be active all the time or on certain conditions as frequently as possible (low cd). But they can't be all powerful stuff that even outshine Utility and Elite skills which are used on-call and should be used carefully in the right momentum, and not bashing like some Street Fighter game...
  7. Another patch day, another disappointment. Again, no communication, and solutions that remove diversity and break things even further. Increase for example Unholy Sanctuary cd from 30 seconds to 120 seconds as passive - this won't be used anymore. Removed another amulets from game. Congratulations, You have changed nothing...again.
  8. Well, last balance patch did create a lot more cancerous builds than before. We have condition Druids roaming who heal up from 10% to full in a second, and are extremely tanky.We have condition Core Necros which are almost immortal.We still have Spellbreakers which heal like a boss, are very tanky and hit hard due to easy 25 might stacking.We still have Power Shiro Revenants who are tanky and hit hard...(that issue was never addressed by Anet since HoT release - are they scared of reworking it?) Anet did nerf Scourge conditions (mainly Torment and Burn which was already limited), but somehow left perma condition spam for Mesmer and on top of that, did give life to Mallyx Revenant which spams Burn and Torment hard and in a very AoE matter. The thing thast was good actually in that patch is that toughness started to matter and Thief doesn't kill in 2 hits like before - I actually started to play Thief and I really love that you really need to fight for a kill and not just yolo 90% win chance. It pretty much shows that Anet has barely any plan than just shifting the power from class to class and not making specs (power and condition) viable for each class, but be effective in it's actual role (roaming, small team, snipping, zerging). But what they do is they actually cut the class entirely through all the roles and make it useless. I have no high hopes for next balance patch - I'm afraid there won't be any changes that actually should be done and were addressed numerous times in the past.
  9. Power Mesmer also hits for similar damage with Mind Wrack. It's funny that everything hits like wet noodles, but there is always some silly thing that keep it's old power.
  10. Dreams came true. People wanted this for years. All classes do 360 AoE constantly, and Thief with 15k hp with Berserker's Amulet hit for less than Guardian's Mace with Mender's Amulet. And people still complain about Shortbow and Stealth xD
  11. EU is lagging sometimes as well, when blobs do clash. The funniest thing is that sometimes it's just one borderland that's lagging.Your ping is about 50ms and to use a skill it takes about 3-5 seconds. Problems with lagging servers started with change to Stability - old one was a single stack which could be removed only by boon corrupt/removal. I can imagine that the culprit here is actually Stability and some other boons like Resistance maybe? Mind you, that fights in terms of sizes didn't change that much compared to several years ago.But certain mechanics did like mentioned Stability, and that already has proven to be an issue. It still makes me amazed why they didn't revert that change, since it is causing the issues with lagging since it's first day of implementation....

  13. Healing speed on downed allies is way too slow and needs to be increased at least double time. Alternatively decrease cleaving power by half on downed players.
  14. I have noticed an increase of Daredevil perma stealth theives which is already terrible. Out of stealth?Evade all the time.Then stealth and bomb.Repeat...
  15. Well, thief is now a nice candy. Permanent Stealth with DeadEyePermanent Evade with Daredevil Let's buff D/P for perma blind and S/P for perma stun.
  16. Hey, Back when Heart of Thrones has been released, we have started to have 64-bit client support.First beta, then stable release. Is there any chance to go forward with such changes? I'm more thinking about going for Vulcan support or at least try to make GW2 (and next game projects) to support it. What are the cons which would make it either difficult or not possible to move into that direction? Are there any other technology or feature upgrades that would be nice to have on client side?
  17. Well, this started when they have changed Stability boon into stack-type. Considering current blob fights with AoE boon+heal spam+AoE condition+power damage spam = lagz That's why they should nerf Scorge, because it spams too much AoEs.

Yup, Mesmer has nothing of such Mesmer doesn't have any mobility - oh wait, Mesmer has 6 teleport skills, where 2 are tied to weapons (axe and staff), 2 from Mirage utility skills, 1 elite, and core PortalMesmer doesn't have any evade - oh wait, quite nice access to Vigor uptime, variety of good passives tied to dodge roll which makes it defensive and offensive skill. This matters not!Mesmer doesn't have CCs, etc. - oh wait, couple of skills which give Slow, Cripple, Immob along with mobility skills where I don't even count Swiftness, yes, Mesmer sure can keep a distance which favor it in combat. BUT, that doesn't matter at all.Mesmer doesn't have blinds - oh wait, Magic Bullet, The Presitge, traited Cry of Frustration, Signet of Midnight, Mirage Ambush, trait Ineptitude. Nah, this is nothing!Mesmer doesn't have access to slow right? - like above, it doesn't exist!!!11111Mesmer doesn't have access to protection - Illusionary Membrane, Chaotic Dampening, PU (rng tho), Mirage Mantle, Chaos Armor, and some other rng stuff IS JUST a big NO!Mesmer doesn't have stealth - The Prestige, Veil, Mass Invisibility, Desperate Decoy, Signet of Midnight, Decoy. YES, those skills don't belong to Mesmer's skill set. I mean, I understand you totally. Mesmer has nothing and needs to be buffed asap, because Mesmer is in position where a cripple is trying to win 100m sprint with Usain Bolt. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
  19. Welp,Thief has stealth and it's a good mechanic for this class - it's squishy, so it needs mobility and somethng extra as mechanic for defense (tho daredevil is done in stupid way). Mesmer as comparison has Invulnerability(Distortion)StealthBreak-Target skillsAegis (via boon application)Visual noise and cover via Clones (yes, it takes more time to re-target Mesmer than Thief)Personally, I would choose between Break-Target skills and Stealth - Mesmer despite being a light-armor class, it has quite an amount of cards to protect itself while being engaged in combat, and has also mechanics to escape when fight is not in favor. Stealth on Guardian or Ranger in case of traps is fine - Ranger Trapper has nothing to protect itself except it's own sustain.Guardian is tricky, but it's not difficult to re-target anyway.
  20. I didn't say there is no gameplay outside of blobs.I just said that Anet doesn't want it.Why?See the changes that they do to class specs and overall WvW mode.
  21. Nope.Because it would create gameplay outside of blob fights, and that's something Anet doesn't want in WvW.
