  1. This is still bugged in September?! I have all the items needed for the new legendary except the items that this vendor sells. Wiki says the vendor is bugged and so is its weekly reset?!??? So there is legit no way for me to make my legendary?!???

  3. or the npcs discussing trading with itzels or burning down the jungle 😄 No in all seriousness i really like the guild hall, I just really wish: -There were more cantha decorations -The arena used pvp/wvw balance -crafting stations and trading post (I know the reason but would be nice anyway) -a reason to be in the hall other than scribing
  4. I mean all that is good, but what is the actual point of playing that build? I’d imagine mediocre players stall that build completely? Also the aim is to just tank anything condi and short bow auto things to death? you’d get the same level of anti-condi running dwarf over ventari and cleansing sigil on your main weapon set, then at least you have a stun break and stability?

  7. Then it’s a good job there are so many necros in wvw! 😄 What boons exactly is fb farting out? Besides high but not permanent stab and high resolution uptime, what boons does fb reliable give that would make any kind of difference in a 4v20? That and fb has such little healing in comparison to other supports.
  8. I just named a random skill could be any take your pick 🙂 not all condis are damaging? So why cleanse if you’re taking no damage? Are we watching the same video? It’s 4 people taking on 20? Are we seriously saying 20 people can not even kill a minstrel anything in seconds just by autoattacking it? The reality is the 20ish people were just bad, that’s nothing to do with stats or firebrand, it’s more a sum up of the average zerg player in wvw currently
  9. Those guys literally win like a 4 vs. 20 in the second fight… not bad for random dodges and a gear stat like??!?!? What at that scale, against those odds are gonna achieve those kinds of fights when 70% of wvw is necro. Are you trying to say that they don’t come across groups running more than 2 supports? because to think that 20 man group didn’t have at least 10 is very ambitious. unless you’re confident that you can 4 vs 20, and dodge that one spectral grasp amongst the 92739392 skills being keyboard smashed at you, I can’t see why you’re criticising these people, they did good at what they’re trying to achieve clearly?
  10. I believe barrier scales with healing power. That’s and the healing from transfusion I guess. Also the healing from torment sigils would also scale with healing power 🙂
  11. I'd actually like Scourge to be somewhat buffed. I think its overall damage is quite bad, and as people have said, it no longer is the best boon ripper. What I do hate is how much area scourge can cover. I also think in its current balance, Scourge is significantly better on the bigger team, and when outnumbering smaller groups. Speaking from a smallscale point of view, Scourge's target cap is awful for taking on bigger groups (unless stacked scourges), that alongside very low pressure is just not good, but from a bigger group vs. much smaller group PoV, necro in general is always what causes the most issues in an outnumbered fight. Wells, shades, Ghastly, its general aoe, constant CC condis are really game changing against smaller groups, yet for the smaller group scourge can't be used because its garbage at doing the same against bigger groups. I think the best iteration of scourge was when the shades no longer cast around the caster and the target cap on small shade was still 5, since it took general thought in playing well rather than spam f skills and suddenly make yourself tanky, cleanse and cc. I do think big shade atm is in its best state, however Feed from Corruption also needs a nerf/cooldown. I'd also like the damage moved around on scourge and necro in general. Ghastly Breach should not be as strong as it is imo especially when outnumbering as its so easy to just hug small groups punished by target cap, drop ghastly and basically melt them. Definitely needs nerfs in both its power and condi damage. Axe 2 also should not take half your hp. Spinal shivers should not be even close to 10k for how simple of a skill it is. Spectral Grasp is also very unhealthy I feel. Removing the pull from it would still make it an awesome skill for the life-force gain alone. I'd also like to see Path of Corruption reverted to two corrupts on scourge again, possibly longer torment on the shade skills, and a buff to dhuumfire on scourge also. Unless scourge is in general going to get reworked to be more of a support when Harbinger happens. Oh and stability should not corrupt into fear 🙂

  13. You gain a green icon/buff on your boon bar thingy after using a punishment skills. After this the next time you place a shade and it hits something, it applies the burning. If you don’t hit anything with the placement of the new shade the buff remains until you do hit something with f1. But to clarify it only applies burning on F1, and not any of the F2-F5 skills 🙂

  15. In what world is complete immunity to a damage type ok? The amount of resistance on rev and from firebrand was stupid. Imagine if stability gave immunity to power damage. so watching your enemies’ boon bar is easy, but watching your own condi bar is difficult? Condis have never been over performing, and never will because there are so many cleanses in the game. Legit condis are only strong against people who actively decide to not take anything to counter them, which is not a damage type issue.

  17. oh trust me I don’t think it’s a language barrier which is the issue here 😂😂 You realise that the range on the jacaranda “auto attack” is 200 range? How much closer do you want it? The pet will only stop being in melee range to cast call lightening every 10 seconds which is a 3/4 cast time, the rest of the time the pet is hugging the enemy player. When the roots have a 1s cast time and are 900 range this should be easy enough to land right? Considering the pet is practically in melee range like 90% of the time. Also isn’t jacaranda like top 4 pets?
  18. I gave you 6 suggestions and none of them are considered ways to set up a single skill? Excuse me? Not effective or just require some degree of skill to use them? Erm jaracanda is primarily melee, just use it when you're also in melee range??? ..So Rapid fire, Arc divider, Whirling axes etc are not burst skills?
  19. Are you telling me rangers lack creativity as well as skill now? Maybe the skill exactly one to the left of axe 5???? other sources of immobilise? Other sources of cc??? A good iboga pull, jaracanda roots, merged knock downs? I believe hyena is the best pet for it in a group setting no? Honestly take your pick. And yes before our insightful friend points out, I am aware you can not have all of these at one time but you can stack 4 on a normal build quite easy. In the scenario of playing a build that does no damage outside of axe 5, then i would indeed call axe 5 that build's burst yes. If rapid fire is killing my mount and taking my hp to 30% in the space of 3 seconds then again, yes. I would call any skill with significant burst damage a burst, yes. Obviously.
  20. Again with the reading man, its becoming tedious. I never said axe 5 was broken, I listed it as a hard hitting skill amongst all the other hard hitting skills, because that is indeed what is it. But since this seems to have hit a nerve I shall indulge. Whirling Defense as stated hits hard, is always paired with quickness and has a 5.28 scaling which is higher than most skills with a similar "rooted" condition. Hundred Blades for example has a scaling of 2.8 and 3 targets and basically always requires Bull's rush. As I mentioned, because of this scaling, this is the only weapon which bunker soulbeast can use to get a cheesy high burst and decent damage. Higher than some power builds I'd imagine. I have seen minstrel soulbeast bots take multiple people from like 80% to 0, with the OWP + Axe 5. If you're on Eu go check out the one on Gandara its quite funny to watch to be honest. Regardless of if they were noobs or not, the damage on it is not really justifiable since there are plenty of ways to set up the burst on ranger. Yes no that'd pretty much be enough for me, because with Longbow nerfed, i'd say 80% of rangers would just stop playing. The funny thing about ranger is its always the good rangers that are the first to point out how broken it is, yet all the bad ones playing these meme builds are the ones scratching their heads saying its weak.

  22. If you actually read what I wrote and what I was replying to, you'd see we were discussing the general tools soulbeast has, obviously? Since people generally either run longbow/gs or X/axe, then these are indeed tools soulbeast has. It was also to point out that axe 5 actually is one of the hard hitting skill on ranger atm, and one of the few skills which allow meme bunker soulbeast to actually do damage. As mention by a lot of people across numerous threads, including this one. The only people that don't see any issue with ranger atm whether it be immobilize kitten from druid, or the insane burst/tools from soulbeast overall, are the people playing such builds. I'd be worried too if my broken class was sticking out as much as ranger is atm, but the sheer denial of how broken this class is is embarrassing.
  23. I'm like 95% sure it is the case though. The Cal guy said in either a live stream or some patch notes that certain decisions are made in WvW in terms of balance because they, as WvW devs, can not change the functions of skills, and that they can only adjust numbers. I think it was around the time shades were reintroduced around the scourge, but again I am unsure but I definitely remember seeing it. Its why we have situations like 300s cooldowns, because they are unable to change functions, so they give them cooldowns to essentially remove them as options. I can't remember (but i'm probably wrong), when a WvW specific issue caused a skill redesign or function change, but I can remember many that have been redesigned because of how they were working in PvE. Isn't it a meme now that if something is incredibly overperforming in competitive modes, people say take it to pve raids and it'll get reworked lmao.
  24. I dunno I wouldn’t actually call WvW monetised outside of warclaw skins. The majority of transfers are to medium populations servers which is 400 gems? Which is like 150g? I transfer like every other relink maybe, and have yet to buy gems with real life money. I only play smallscale/ roaming wvw and still generate enough gold to fund legendaries and transfers. Like I should imagine some players do buy gems with their cards, but again in comparison to sales in pve, wvw transfers are a minority. This is again seen in overall lack of attention and investment into wvw, if it was a profitable market it’d be exploited but when you are just “farming bags” I should imagine 150g is nothing. Also gotta remember a lot of people, again most likely the majority, are in the mind set of server loyalty and won’t and likely have never transferred server. Gandara players seems very vocal on this aspect.
