  3. Anet should either release alliances or not. Dithering about it for years and years is counterproductive. Just decide if it's happening or not already. Actually get it done if it's happening. Quit teasing if not.
  4. Yes, it's needed for there to be ranged classes that have ranged strength. Some people find it fun to play ranged, so ranged should work as ranged. Ranged can also be a disability accommodation as something like sensory gating issues can make it difficult to function in the midst of a busy group.

ATM there are various ways you can spend effort helping your team but get no/reduced game rewards for some types of help! Game rewards should be equitable for everyone who helps their team in some way, and not good reward for only select roles.

  9. I agree: I think it would be a much healthier dynamic and lead to more sales overall if any given item could be available frequently (or just all the things always, if that's possible) and if there were more frequent sales including on utility and upgrade items.

  13. I agree with this. I'd also like a conversion tool for how to get stats like a particular Ascended gear (that you read about on metabattle for instance) in Exotic.
  14. Also, speaking of birthday parcels, as a new player I didn't know that birthday gifts and some other game items were tied to characters and not the account. I started out by making characters and deleting them, to try various options. Is there a way to set one character's age to the age of the account? Also it would be nice if oldest character were flagged in the character select screen. thanks!

I deleted my dungeon mails a while back trying to get within my mail limit (as I didn't yet understand which items do or do not impact the mail limit), and I'd like an option to resend system mail (obviously this couldn't trigger birthday parcels, but if we could get all quest related mail resent in case we made a mistake).

  17. Hi, I found that it's confusing that the Unbreakable Gathering Tools stack into one inventory spot, and other sets like the Infinite Spirits of the Wild Gathering Tools sets may not stack. Nether ability to stack nor inability to stack is noted on the store or wiki anywhere that I could see for gathering tool sets. It would be great if you could update the descriptions so people know what features are included in their purchase. It would be super cool if you would create a new Gem Store item that stacks any various tools into a set that takes up just one inventory spot (any gathering tool, any mining tool, and any logging tool), even if the tools are mismatched. (I want one for coming up with the idea lol) Also, I noticed that there are many options for animations/skins for gathering tools, but it's very difficult to obtain a glyph that you want. Please add more ways to get glyphs! Best wishes!

  19. This would be brilliant. The boosters are already tradeable for something like this at a Black Lion seller, so it seems this could be done for runes and sigils, too.

  21. I think crafting items should be making something that's useful/on-level at the time of making them. So I have a crafting challenge for the devs: Make a new account without gold gain and luck bonuses from years of playing, and try to level a craft, especially armor, during leveling. Bonus: try to level two crafts, like armor + weapons. As it is, I don't accumulate enough mats to craft any level until I'm past that level. (I pick up mats while I play hearts, or travel back and forth between story quest locations.) There's not mobs that drop a lot of leather or cloth items (and when they do, it typically requires the use of a salvage kit--which is sensible, but at low levels the price can be prohibitive, especially if the player hasn't discovered daily quests), and some don't drop anything at all. I salvage any armor that can be, but there's a lot of armor and weapons that can only be deleted, to remove from inventory, which often feels sad. Sometimes the crafting nodes don't show up on my mini-map, and a search on the playing map doesn't find any, either. So I suggest (mix and match with these suggestions and any you think of yourself, until craftable game items can be crafted at the level they could be used): Reduce or eliminate having armor that can't be salvaged. Increase the drop rate of items in general (I find that many mobs drop nothing--while this helps with my bag space, it extends the work to get crafting loot). Most animals should drop leather (or hides that can be salvaged to leather), in addition to their other drops. All furred animals, bats, reptiles, etc. (but not bugs like mosquitoes and spiders). This way leather could be farmed. Some items should be added to get cloth, or fiber that can be made into cloth (cotton from cotton plants, silk from silkworms, etc.--on level appropriate maps). More armor drops from human opponents. Make the daily achievement drop more gold in general, and ensure it can be done in PvE without instancing (for players that lack concentration--a Reasonable Accommodation request: I personally can't do "hard" content every time I want to play). Drop more gold in 1-80. Check for bugs in the nodes and minimap. Increase the drop rate from nodes. Decrease the interval in which home instance nodes can be looted. Increase the drop rate of home instance nodes in Black Lion chests. Increase the availability of higher level salvage kits so vendors in lower levels sell at least up to Fine. (I find the better salvage kit, the better return, which is sensible). Thanks!
