  1. Obviously I think we need to let others shine. I'd like the following to come along. Marjory- as a Canthan descent she may have some stories from her family that could shed light on the past of Cantha to help the non human characters as a talking head. Also she's had a back seat since season 3. If she goes I see Kas going as well. Livia- as mentioned she is possible the only living human who has last stepped foot on Cantha. As stated she was a ranking member of the Shining Blade and could be sent to assist us with history and what has been going on prior to Orr's rising. Ogden- he was potentially in Cantha prior to EotN and could have leads on ways thru the land as we may not be allowed into certain areas due to current political climate. Caithe- she could be the eyes and ears of Aurene and share the news of Order of the Crystal Bloom. Also she could be the first Sylvari to step foot in Cantha unless they revel that the Wardens of the Echovald Forest stem from a Pale Tree. It would be interesting to see how they react to The Call and if any answered. Could be an interesting threat in the forest in the form of new Mordrem. I think also Dougal Kaine. He has had 0 story in game and I think the chance to explore a new continent would reawaken his Indiana Jones mentally and finally give us a thief on the team. Any of the season 4 characters tied to elona might go to re-establish diplomatic toes, I'd love for an Awakened to go for the whole surprise factor.
  2. It really depends on how we are supposed to deal with the new development of Jormag being awakened. Last episode also notified us that Jormag is trying to corrupt the remaining Spirits of the wild and Braham has this new connection with the Spirits that might be explored. With the way the story is going I can see the char declare a Khan-ur and truly unite the char people as one for the first time since pre-searing. They may be needing time to regroup after the death of the Iron Imperator. Per the current in-game map loaded there not much room for us to go further north. I see several areas we could go.1 South to the North of the Hintari highlands, which will show us the centaur/slave hints form the trailer. East to the old area where Varjar Fells was in gw1 north of Bitterfrost. To continue Jormag storyWest into the isle of Janhir for what ever reason maybe relating to the spirts. These three seem most logical. Halloween should start mid October around the 15 or so and then Wintersday in mid December. That would leave episode 5 between them in November probably around the 10-18 based on the last few years. I truly think we will finish off Jormag this season and transfer his power to an Avatar of the Spirts of the wild. The last episodes would be is working with the Tengu to try to find a replacement for Primordus only to find out that we need to go to Cantha. We will use some form of transportation from the Dominion of winds and then move to EoDs and face both Primordus and DsD as well as deal with the politics of Cantha that will set up season 6.
  3. The siren does have some ties to Cantha thru the Kurzick Tree Singers. The ritual allowed a sacrifice to become an Amber Juggernaut. Mesmer have a lot of weapons available to them. Not sure what the weapon will be.
  4. I feel we are all underestimating Primordus. Remember even when he was asleep he was starting his take over by releasing the Destroyers in the depths of Tyria in gw1. We have no idea how long he was active before the gw1 players got involved. We know that the transformation of the Dwarves was a way to quell the spread. In gw2 while Jormag and Kralk had areas they controlled Primordus was able to send his minions as far south as The Desert Highlands. We know from lore there is a vast tunnel network under Tyria. I would not be surprised if in EOD we fight them at some point. I think that while Jormag is more intelligent Primordus has the advantage of numbers. I don't think it will be tricked and killed so easily. Remember we have seen his Champion Megadesroyer in Mount Malestrom and the fire islands. Im just saying don't count out him out yet
  5. Where is it stated that there is an Icy Tundra like poles? I can't find any information on that.
  6. Also in No Quarter there is a collection Mysterious Documents that show the movement thru the eyes of a Tengu clan that was living there prior to the war. The documents outline that they came up thru the Shiverpeaks that we see in Visions of the past the the Steel warband had cleared a path for the machines thru Stone summit territory for Bamgar. This happened before episode 1 where we see the fate of Allmora. So if you think about it this was being planned long before we were involved.
  7. Thru the Vision of the past as well as lore we know that travel from Ascalon is able thru the Shiverpeaks. We know that the char are extremely capable race as in lore they were able to make it to the shore of Orr prior to the sinking. In the 250 yrs the char have the most advanced warmachines and weapons out of all the races. We also know that the Blood legion homelands connect with the Far Shiverpeaks. Also don't discount the fact that the Dominion forces are working with the sons of svanir they could have used the power given to them by Jormag to assist the newly formed legion thru The territory. The United Legions have been following their trail and moving there units to meet them and establish bases. It's not unreasonable to assume they followed the same route.
  8. Based on tge fact we can see possible 8 episodes this season I'd say we get one more this year bring to five...I'd say Sept to November. No idea Yes but not to the extent others are looking. I can see maps with lots of underwater fights but I can think maybe if the Jade sea has reverted back somehow we could see some serious fights No. The first expac introduce us to the idea of masteries that have since been included in the PoF areas, just like mounts have been included in past areas. I think if they do it will be a collection based mount similar to griffin collection linked to Cantha but not 100 percent. Again doubtful as mounts were the selling point for POF Yes I have an idea for a few, but it depends on the weapons. Let's look at warrior only weapons he can not use are pistols Short bow and the magic weapons. A lot want the spear to turn into a water/land weapon or have him go bare handed I don't think either works. ????? No I don't think so. They would need to to be able to implement it across all maps. I think yes there will be new crafting material and sheets from r us to find ???? No idea Maybe a strike mission as that seems to be there new focus and not raids. I'd like one where we are in the Jade sea and monster bursts from the Jade. Nope they are currently under the endless ocean. I want to visit the south shore of Cantha as we don't know what is over there . I think the forest would be still mostly petrified and the sea solid jade. We don't know how much of the idea of reverting back was done. I think we will see more of the Tengu. I also think we will have a glimpse of who the Largos are. Per the lore they were driven out. Depends on how much has changed since then idk. Yes in some way No idea I think we will see it in the final living world story of the season. What are the thoughts that we could see the death of a one of our guild mates?
  9. Joko slew Abaddon. Joko slew Zhaitan. Joko slew Mordremoth (how did Elonians even know!?). Elonians praised Joko, believed him to be some god-king. He lied to the masses with propaganda, proclaiming he was the savior of their past plights. Heck, Joko even slew the Iron Forgeman of Sorrow's Furnace according to his propaganda. I know both were overtaken by tyrannical individuals capable of manipulating history to fit their fiction, but while Joko lived to modern times, Usoku didn't. It would be a bit boring to just repeat the same old plot in different aesthetics. Less that and more The elder dragons are a myth. You are are safe from in Cantha. More the ministry is in control of the emporer. I can see the ministry go to any means to keep the people of Cantha complacent in that notion.
  10. I'm actually going to agree with you on this. I think the idea that the ministry stopped the plague will be feed to us as propaganda. I can see the ministry keep several samples and keep some form of mutated creature that was once afflicted but is now something else. We don't really have any information on how the government is now,but I get a vision of Ba Sing Sa from Avatar where they are trying to keep the world ignorant of what is going on. I see our presence as a wake up call for many people for the below:1- most canthans most likely have never encountered any non human. Asian,Char,Born and Sylvari will be made to feel like an outsider.2- last we saw the ministry of purity was taking power and manipulate the masses. I can see them as public figure of good and in reality be shady as heck. 3- the dragon rising. We heard nothing of the elder dragons until after the eye of the north. Most of the dragons took refuge in a place of great magic. It could be that the people just have no idea that the dsd is one of 6. They could only assume that it's a menace. This could be a catalyst that forces our hands as they may try to kill the dragon by unleashing the plague.4- we learned that Shiro, who unleashed the plague 250+ yrs ago learned from a servant of Abaddon. This could have been lead by occultist who started to study the history of demons in the mist and we could possibly get them as enemies. I do think that we will see some form of the plague in either the story or a follow-up lws. Like the Jade Wind it toes heavenly into the history of the nation.
  11. My thoughts on this are simple. In an area where I want to get to a high area quickly ill use bunny to get me up. If I want to say glide over a horrible terrain ill use skimmer. Jackle I feel is going to be a highly used mount later due to the sand portals. I can see areas we can normally reach with even the griffin accessible by sand portal. I still feel as raptor is the fastest mount. Its long jump skill is great. I think anet did a good job with designing these mounts to not be one and done mysteries like in lws3 or HoT example is flame of loss and sirens call...map locked masteries was a fail and a waste of points. I like what they are doing and I really think some are over thinking this.
