It requires too much effort on your end to learn. That is fine. Watching a video is not the same as practice and experience. All gamers know this. Structured PVP does not have a big learning curve like raids, strikes and fractals. Experienced groups don't LFG unless they have exhausted all other options (summoning their friends from other guilds / activities). You've joined many normal strike groups that work because most strike encounters are training golems with the exception of challenge modes. Plus someone has most likely organised the squad before you joined them. This is a weird claim to make. The aerodrome is packed to the brim with raid groups every weekly raid reset.

It is not enough to just fill a group of random players to do strikes, fractals and raids. Anet would have to simplify group encounters to the level of a training golem. Convergences are a good example of this. Demon knight = training golem. Sorrow = PTSD.

You can try Raid Academy and look out for pings.

If you dont want to be gated, form your own squad. Gating exists because there is a significant chasm between new and experienced. An experienced group of raiders will clear wings 1-4 + cms in 2 hours where as a training group might spend 2 hours on the first boss of wing 2.

I just delete them now. There is too kitten much. I am not interested in the Obsidian armor and there is not a lot of reasons to stockpile it or waste Ectos/Clovers crafting Amalgamated/Purified essences.

Those group events are not fun to do so most people in map for the purpose of the meta / rifts will ignore it. Soto maps are particularly dead during the Oceanic graveyard shift.

The warclaw doesn't cost skirmish tickets. You made the mistake of buying the cosmetic skin with skirmish tickets. Also those armor boxes don't need to be bought with tickets either. You can earn them with reward tracks. Mistakes happen, it's not the end of the world. Like the rune issue, doing more research will save yourself money/time.

That is... not a wise use of skirmish tickets.

1 rune is pretty useless. 6 runes is the norm and 7 is luxury. You should probably wait till after the legendary relic releases to complete your rune set. I am not sure what you mean by accessibility, you don't need to do anything for WvW armor. Just participate and earn skirmish tickets. You need to do WvW anyway for Gifts of Battle. Raids are a different story.

I made 7 legendary runes to bypass OP's problem. I later did Envoy's Herald. I still use normal runes and sigils and ascended items to hotswap equipment because its cheaper than buying equipment templates. i.e. switching between firebrand tank weapons for different encounters (staff, mace, axe, shield, focus)

The cm wasn't that bad but getting a competent group together was quite difficult. All the down time and inexperienced people joining/leaving was frustrating. Eventually we got enough experienced people together via LFG to clear it in a few pulls. I think if you wanted 8 gold doing T4 daily/recs cm is more reliable.

the amalgamated kryptis essence that neds 50 ectos is the killer. Nobody wants to waste 50 ectos on that kitten. If you have no interest in armor or relic just throw the essence out.

So it's not a legendary relic from the fifth expansion onwards. Noted. 😂

Legos feel more expensive after SOTO

Even after upgrading to max 2500 material storage there are lot of bulk items that don't go into mat storage. 😑 Despite knowing about the problem for years there is no sign of addressing so i can only think that this is intended by design so that you are forced to buy more character slots or bank slots. Kill proofs from raids and strikes should go into material storage, but it's not a thing so it sits in a dedicated bank tab for all eternity.

i use Space for ascend, C for descend, V for evade, 1 for engage, 2 for fireball. The rest of the skills are bound to custom macros on my keyboard or voice activated

the chicken feet are indeed a bit weird, and the dye channel it is tied to is also a bit weird. but behold! fluffy is justice.
