  1. that sounds great but how about as well if the thief hits you he doesn't go stealth too?!? what is this nonsense to heartseeker hit you for 5k and also go in stealth to backstab you instantly? this is complete nonsense...

  3. idk who wins between the two but on my ele i much rather fight a harbinger than a willbender idk how other classes feel about this but for harbinger at least i have a couple of reflects and a projectile hate zone for a few seconds of breathing room while willbender just ports on me and i already lost more than 50% of my health... (8k F1 crits, whoever though of that needs to be fired...)
  4. I did look at that page and it says nothing about reflecting it or any kind of bugs related to it. Putting aside how weird (read that as "wrong") the reflect calculation works I still don't see how it only reflects 178 damage considering I am not lacking on power. P.S I made a test just to see how things are in pve and my NAKED deadeye can crit upwards of 8k death's judgement if you remove the malice scaling which you said is 105% ? that should be at least a 4k crit... how is my reflect with full gear only 178? there is clearly something wrong here!

Interesting... lets look it from the other end too then: You finally get lucky enough and manage to down a ranger/necro with their nonsense broken builds and if you also get downed, since your class is the glassiest glass in the game, from their pets/condis, that they fart like there is no tomorrow, now you are in a down state fight... the necro damages you preventing you from healing yourself WHILE ALSO HEALING HIMSELF at the same time which you can't interrupt by just damaging him back... and the ranger just calls the pet to res him... but you think "that's ok i'll just interrupt the pet healing him" well nice joke cuz ele doesn't even have an interrupt in their down state and even if it did, the pet just instantly starts ressing again without the ranger having to cast the ability again so you have no option but to just use mist form and try to get out of their range but in both cases they already have an advantage on their healing in down state so they just get up before you and kill you... gotta nerf those necro and ranger down states for sure! imagine calling for nerfs for one of the weakest down states in the game when it loses to pretty much any other down state and ONLY has advantage in ONE very specific case which can be avoided altogether because newsflash unless you down him right in front of his door mist form more often than not is not gonna be long enough to reach the portal and you kill him anyway...
  6. Interesting, I did not know that the reflect uses your stats instead of the caster, that's horrible yet anet thus understandable... The thing is that the caster uses obviously power gear, crits me for ~10k but if i reflect it (it did crit in this case) crit them for 178... we were the only 2 targets, we were targeting each other, the projectile did not pass through other non-targets, i was running cele gear which does have more power and crit damage than minstrel... how much scaling, damage reduction and other magic has to apply to get from 178 to 10k ? keep in mind the deadeye has glass cannon gear so it doesn't get another set of reduction from toughness or whatever... something is missing this is not right...

First of all i'm writing this in wvw since the people in the thief section actually want to buff thief O.o Anyway can someone please explain to me how come when I get hit by death's judgement i get crit for absurd numbers but when i reflect it at a thief it hits for 100???? how does that make sense? It doesn't say anything on the wiki that it can't be reflected or blocked?

  9. oof 2 condi bunker builds that have tons of cleanses took a while to kill each other... i'm so shocked i almost fell out of my chair... one thing that power has in favor in these fights is that you can't just cleanse power damage, in condi fights after you get through all the dodges, blocks, stealths and invulns and you finally land a hit, even if it puts 10000 stacks of poison on the target... 1 cleanse and it's gone... the best are abilities that you passively just put up and they pulse cleanse on you every second so you are pretty much immune to condi damage for that duration, the worst are necros, rangers and mesmers that put 6+ condis on you with 1 button, then you need more cleanses but most other condi classes are manageable... as i always say in these topics - if you have so many issues with "cele bros" just get some condi cleanse and they will do 0 damage to you...

"Bug Fixes": (interesting "BUGS") Written in Stone: This trait now has a 25-second internal cooldown when granting an aura in PvP only. - idk what the point of this is, might as well not have auras on it at this point why did they change it and then make it as if it's not even there? why change the trait and then make it give 2 seconds of frost aura every 25 sec? increasing the cd of the signets kinda limited the amount of auras anyway but now this trait is pretty much like conjurer before the nerf "i mean it's nice that it's there but nobody will take it for it" Signet of Restoration: Increased cooldown from 25 seconds to 30 seconds in PvP only. - 3k heal too strong i guess... warriors remove 5 conditions and heal 6500 on a 20 sec cd harbingers heal 7k + 1k regen and can put poison on target on a 20 sec cd thief signet of malice is on a 12 sec cd like wtf guardian signet removes conditions passively and then on active removes 2 heals for 7286 base 25 sec cd... Flamestrike: The first strike of this skill no longer inflicts burning in PvP only. Reduced the secondary burning duration from 1.5 seconds to 1 second in PvP only. -next patch "bugfix" rename this skill to "strike" Dragon's Tooth: Reduced burning duration from 10 seconds to 5 seconds in PvP only. -did this skill become the most nerfed skill in the game already? i lost track... i'm fine with this changes, i don't care... i just don't understand the logic behind them, it's simply stupid...

  13. idk if this has been suggested before but can we have something like a faint line indicating the area in which a heart is active? too many times have i killed stuff just on the border without seeing i have left the area of a heart so it doesn't count... and considering you have 303 for each world completion it kinda gets annoying after a while...

I know that the thing is that when i want buffs to staff right now i never talk about numbers... the numbers talk was in response to the guy that said it's overkill and i just say it's not, it's just fine... what i want as buffs to staff are like for example lava font radius, or auto attack velocity, things that will make the staff better but wont break it like rev hammer or warrior skillflame Ps correction longbow for ele 1500 range!

The skill used to blast at the start before too, it also looked weird but was required to be able to use the blast finisher and interrupt the channel to survive (dodge) having both leap and blast finisher procking together from 1 skill will make for great healing though and i wouldn't mind to see that
  16. So much this! Even though generally you will see 2k crits in a zerg most of the time on meteor shower i wouldn't call that "overkill" but the rest is all true! And with the tiny tiny buffs to staff that they did why were most of them pve only? And still staff in pve is pretty useless so it was all for nothing... are they scared that the squishiest class in the game might become worth playing or something?
  17. staff 1200 range as per anet a support weapon... longbow 1500 range hopefully strong dps weapon... that's the point...
  18. what pistol provides is copy paste of scepter except that now you have 100% projectiles that can be reflected and unless it's OP it will never be used over scepter........... LONGBOW on the other hand is supposed to fill the 1500 range niche that elementalist just doesn't have as it's a ranger monopoly that NEEDS TO STOP!!! GIVE US LONGBOW!!!

  20. yeah pistol main hand is super disappointing... we already have mid range weapon in scepter and we are lacking decent offhand options so pistol main hand is pretty much last on the list (right next to mace) longbow would have been the best but nah who cares what the community wants...

  22. as long as you nerf willbender damage in wvw by at least 30%... doing pve damage buffs is fine
  23. yeah and the arguments for the other side are "i refuse to bring condi cleanse", "i main willbender and my skill is through the roof but these cele noobs force me to use 4 skills instead of 3 to kill them!" ps roaming is dead anyway, there are only gank groups out there, no roaming...
  24. all in all if you have problems with cele players just play trashbender and you will 3shot them...
