    Do, what I do. Ignore the "new era" after EOD. The dragon cycle is finished and with the floating islands (which already sucked in FFXIV in Heavensward) they clearly show, that there is no interest in having an optimized and playable product. So, GW2 ends for me after EOD. Not touching the newer "genius ideas".

    This. The fact, that I must completely obliterate immersion, when I must play the introductions to expansions I'm not ready for, in order to not be left behind is the straw that is very likely going to break some camels necks.

    So, it would basically be like the old system, quick and easy. "Encourage exploration" is such a beautiful term for "forcing me to break immersion" if I want to participate, or have the rewards.

    The Lunatic armour set is the reward for the Halloween event and very easy to get. It's stat-selectable!

    I don't know why the won't add this, but my experience is that groups found via LFQ-tools - after some time - are treated like garbage-people. Vets will use it to get things done even faster, so newbies are left in the dust again. No gain here. Just look at games like FFXIV, WoW, ESO etc... Just sayin'.

    Unfortunately, it will take much more time for them to realize that they are dividing groups instead of make them come together and enjoy. I'm not in the least interested in a person's (or npc) sexual orientation other than that I know, female characters are more beautiful (for me). I'd never join a Guild advertising sexual orientation in a PEG game.

    Put your own group into LFG and it will fill with likeminded people.

    Allow me to add one more thing: I'm trying to enjoy the quarterly release strategy. If I don't like it, I can pass the next time and wait until it's fully released. Thank god, the metas aren't overly complicated, otherwise I don't know how to keep all the maps busy (enough for casual players not to struggle to get things done in a timely manner). Let's wait and see.

    @OP: Let me add, that we are required to "listen" and "read" through all dialogue now, without a chance to progress or leave, it is so forced in this expansion that Zojja's "A lot has changed." sounds like a threat. If they're making us more of a simp for Zojja, a lot of people will fold and leave.

    It's not just that. You need to start every story and get to the regions to fulfill the assignments, if you want to or not. It's not difficult to create tasks based on regions unlocked/visited at all, so why this strange way?

    It is as Zojja said, when you told her "I'm not used to taking orders." "A lot has changed." The namechange comes with a clear degradation of your status in the world. In the future, you'll be a simp probably.

    Omg, I had to completely leave the area in order to make that happen. Thanks. Now the achievement doesn't work ( the one reading the notes), but that's gonna be fixed, hopefully.
