Scepter Weaver and trying cc while retreating and stab + jump + 2 big crits.. gg . they do that again again. last fight saw 3v1 and then 5v2 and the dmg is so fast and movement + stab un kite-able. you don't win vs them and the whole battlefield knows it.

they are wizards.. how about make them viable as wizards. prefer a change in staff to allow 1H or the like

try dodging /interrupting? I play ele and never get that many abilities off in a row - unless the person is standing still. that seems like much slower damage than other classes. that's two move abilities followed by 3 more abilities - one of which is a 2 second channel. try again this was at least 4 seconds. the game may be too fast for you if it felt like 1 or less.

lol and die. you can play staff ele as part of a big group and stay with that group only. mostly guessing where groups are and trying to aoe them. But if you wander alone or have to run back to a group, you are toast in the open field. Best eles are sword based atm. not mage like at All. Waiting on Ashes tyvm

so what I get out of this is more CDs than Ele so you're built to win. but I guess this is about beating thieves which are menat to be everyone 1v1

Interesting. I've not solved the 9k hits though, because ele hits like a wet noodle when going full defense. would be great to learn of someone win this way

"Warriors are not in a very good shape unfortunately...". lol . i got smashed by one with Eviscerate the two engages I tried.. was on an Ele and he ignored others for me to do 8.5k and 9.3 crits.. come on. never seen that kind of damage with the kind of survival he had.

for WvW, go with another class. Haters will say learn to play, but played all classes and owned so easy on ones like Necro. Ele is weak as hell atm and most classes bury them 1v1 as they are designed to help a large group with aoe and healing. aka boring and sucks to roam.

Every WvW interaction vs ranger results in completely underwhelming results. Just run damage meters and look at log when a ranger wrecks you. I chased on at 10% when I had a group and figured 'surely 10% ".. But evaded 3 stances of attacks and burst me down - was about a 6 second fight. lol Very tiresome looking for "best WvW builds" and getting wrecked by most classes. Before saying how amazing the ele abilities are look at raw numbers others can pump out. that's where no amount of cool traits help.
