  1. Did you recently upgrade your graphics card, and did you do a full removal of your old drivers when you did (using DDU)? If not, I'd recommend running that and doing a clean install of your graphics drivers, and see if that helps.
  2. Personally, I find that there is a severe lack of good ranged options for many classes. On my Ranger, I feel the need to run Greatsword. On my Mesmer, I feel the need to run dual sword. On my Elementalist, I feel the need to run sword/dagger. I could respect melee having slightly higher damage, due to increased risks; however, I find the difference between a ranged build and melee build too large. Even if they were good, there is still usually more melee than ranged options available per class.
  3. You can just log out to character select and log back in to reset/restart the story instance.
  4. Did you read the OP? You cannot just get a Mesmer to port you to the end. You have the mists chasing behind you during this story instance. The OP could just run though. It's like beyond easy. The platforms are huge, you raptor jump to them and get the volatile magic to refresh your endurance bar. Half the time the gravity is cut in half too, letting you slowly position yourself to land in place. The only reason it'd be hard for you to finish this is if you outright refused to even attempt it.
  5. This is true, too! Some jumping puzzles can drive you mad with their constant change in zoom and forced angles. It would be so much nicer to have them simply removed from our sight when blocking the player's view from behind the character model. While it is a different perspective, I find the technology used in Divinity Original Sin 2 is quite good for this sort of thing. If you move underneath a tree or whatever, part of it sort of fades away so you can still see your character.
  6. It always seems weird to me that my camera can easily zoom inside my characters face, but it cannot zoom inside other objects (i.e. trees/cliff), which forces the camera into awkward angles/perspectives when in tight spaces.
  7. Jumping Puzzles are fun, you're crazy ;) That said, this is hardly a jumping puzzle and is incredibly easy. Like, it's a jumping puzzle the way killing a veteran is killing a raid boss.
  8. Notably absent recently? Marjory and Kasmeer. I expect that we'll hear what they've been up to soon. I think the catalyst for the next story will be a result of the giant land mass striking down from the sky and hitting ley lines in the ocean. This leads me to two separate possible thoughts. 1) Something Canthan oriented. Cantha is south of where we landed, and Marjory is of Canthan decent - possible she went back to her homeland and something is brewing there. 2) The landmass and leylines suggest potential dragon activity nearby - aka Steve. 3) Quite possible a combination of the both. Perhaps we awaken Steve who impacts Cantha.
