Even under the old system for dailies, Participate in an Activity was listed in the PVE section. This is not something new with the Wizard's Vault. We just didn't notice it as much because there were 12 choices to completing the dailies.

I take forever also. I can't decide whether I want to give all my characters unique names, or give them a common name.

Sounds like the same issue I have been having. Did all of that also and still getting the problem

My problem started Thursday. I can log in and get to the character screen. I can even sometimes start character, but when I switch characters or try to go into another zone, the game will freeze on the loading screen. I have tried different ideas I have found, but the problem will still occur. I may be able to switch zones a couple of times, but eventually it will freeze and I have to open the task manager to force close the game. Please Help

I found a work around for this one. Once you stealth, go around the other way. Make sure to stay close to the wall and keep quickness up. You can make it to the end. Takes about three times of this to complete.

Seems like I am not the only one with this issue. Mine only occurs when I clicked the create button for a new character.

I know arcdps is allowed. I wanted to let people know that they may want to remove it from the directory to avoid the game crashing tomorrow when the expansion goes live.

I believe that it works on every race. I have done it in Hoelbrak a few times and a few of the other races that take place around Tyria

I am often interested in the name that the people that start these posts wanted.... They never mention the name. Also, who is to say you would get the name if it freed up. It frees up and someone else can grab it before you make a new character. I am terrible at names and go to a web site that generates names for all 5 races. Plus other fantasy names. Maybe they should check the site out https://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/

Did that and everything worked fine. This is my first time with Arcdps. Should I wait for an update to arc or is it safe to add it back?

So just an update. I sent a ticket in without logging in. I had my account name and email used for the account. Turned out I was in a wave on blocks due to using a VPN since I was hotspotting in because where I was had no internet. This was the reason they gave. Got everything back and just didn't play for the week I was in North Carolina for fear I would get hit again logging in with a Hotspot. Also, it was interesting that I did not get an SMS Notice for a code the first time I logged in. I guess I saved that for future. That may had also been an issue. Is there a way for the log in to forget the VPN i used so if I tried again I would get teh SMS code

I know it take time, I just hate missing out on the events. It was weird, but on the main page, I get the blocked for security reasons, but I was able to change my password, and it says log in or password not found. I was hoping working through that would lift, but I am just sitting here with my family in the mountains of North Carolina waiting.

I just tried to log on and got a message that said "For Security Purposes this account has been blocked." I have submitted a ticket and am awaiting a response. But could anyone give me an idea of why. No email or reason I can find. My only thought is because I am on vacation and having to use a hotspot to log in and never got the SMS code. THanks

I wanted to make a character named Florida Man, but alas it was taken.....

I don't usually weigh in on these topics, but I figured I would. I mainly play PvE, but when I saw the GOB was needed for a legendary, I knew I have to get into WvW. I started by doing the tasks listed before. My build was not very good even by PvE standards, but I kept at it. Before long, I joined a zerg and then went around taking camps and towers. Before long I had completed the track. Having boosters did help. The problem... I started to enjoy it! I got killed a lot by the enemy. Curse those on Crystal Desert and Northern Shiverpeaks. Not I am working towards creating a WvW character, a Scourge. And even joined a WvW guild on Darkhaven. I have blast and meet some nice people who are more than willing to help out those newbs who have been playing the game since release.

For a Bestiary, I would look at the Monster Manual and Reskin what they already have. Take the concept of the GW2 monster and find the already create stats and abilities on a monster and change its name. Poof new monster. I have reskinned many creatures to use in my home campaign myself.

Welcome to the world of Table Top, it is fun and you can complete almost anything you can imagine. Trying to recreate a for game into an RPG is a daunting task. If this is you and your friends first adventure into Table Top RPGs, might I suggest you not try to create a one to one conversion. Since you are going with D&D, just keep those classes the same and start by using the world of Tyria as your setting. If you try to convert every class into a perfect match, you are going to find it really difficult. So I would keep the classes as they are in D&D (Fighter, Cleric, Wizard, Thief, Warlock, Sorceror, Bard). Use the already given races to reskin as Tyria:Human = HumanAsura = Gnome or HalflingCharr = Dragonborn (Minus breath weapon)Sylvari = ElfNorn = Really tall Humans Keep it Simple until you master the mechanics

I am taking your advice on just using trinkets and maybe runes to help with survival. Like someone said before "Dead men do no damage"I am currently running the Triumphant Reward track to unlock armor for creating the legendary version of the heavy armor for my warrior main.

Thanks for all the advice. Played a little during the Warbeast unlock and enjoyed it. I would sometimes go in to complete dailies and help get the Gift of Battle. What I found interesting was I teamed up with the Guild for some runs and before I knew it, 2 hours had past. Time flew while playing. Just time to get better. Now I just need to work on getting those Soldier Insignia since they are not craftable.

I like your idea of starting out in Knight armor and slowing switching to zerker as I get better. I think I have enough materials for 1 piece of Marauder armor.
