  1. Consistency definitely goes out the window over most of the dragon cycle arc. What is interesting is these secondary sphere do have commonality, if you put death as a secondary. Death/Life, Mind/Persuasion, Destruction/Fury. Was also interesting is with how the pairing add up together too in terms of their deaths. Zhaitan first to the die and Soo-Won last to die, Mordremoth and Jormag being the 2nd and 4th, along with Kralkatorrik and Primordus in the middle. It’s most likely a case of Pareidolia, but it’s an interesting observation.
  2. So the new Soo-Won legendary, which now confirmed Soo-Won’s secondary sphere, Life. This got me thinking of the other spheres, especially Zhaitan. The Zhaitan legendary describes him as the dragon of Shadow and Death, like Primordus is Fire and slightly retconned to Destruction. Soo-Won is Water/Life etc. Given the each dragon’s main sphere is a sort of elemental power is Zhaitan really the Shadow dragon rather the death dragon? Life appears to Soo-Won’s secondary sphere so I would assume for prosperity that Zhaitan’s secondary sphere would be death. Thoughts?
  3. There is also the mysterious recipe list for the last book, which seems to reflect the current Veil membership…
  4. I agree it was a retcon, most likely because all those old writers were gone and new writers replaced them. That being said, if we had some sort of entity that could gorge itself on dragon or dragon blood, kind of like the frost legion and Jormag, but something aquatic, could be a type of bastardized dragon minion, akin to mosquito gorged on too much blood that it becomes a dragon minion with a more hostile nature. Since Soo-Won didn’t have any minions this could potentially constitute for a dragon minion and might be the what was causing the quaggan and Karla to flee.
  5. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get E related story in the future in regards to Delequa investigations. I think there was a mention of a mysterious benefactor giving them funding, which I swear was how they described E in the re-release of season 1.
  6. Here is the link to Tom Abernathy advising that Jormag doesn’t identify with a gender. An article regarding questions about non-binary. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Elder_Dragons:_Notes_from_the_Field#/media/File%3AElder_Dragons-_Notes_from_the_Field.jpg Also a link that Kralkatorrik created Glint.
  7. I’m providing evidence that is from the game as in the very expansion that you claim Soo-Won said she woke up after Zhaitan, (which you still haven’t sourced yet btw). You have been provided evidence by myself and others regarding the dragon diagram, the order from which the dragon awakening including the vision, as well as this same pattern showing up in Heart of Thorns missions and yet you still continue to argue, making me realize that you don’t have a firm grasp on the lore in this game. You have made countless mistakes in the posts above. You are cherry picking what lore you are choosing to follow and frankly there no point in having a discussion with you.
  8. To quote Kuunavang: “ I felt it when she woke. All those of the sea did—a presence powerful enough to drive back the shadows in the depths. Kuunavang: But it was not until Zhaitan that I sought her out. An act of desperation to save what was left of a land I loved.” So this shows that Soo-Won was awake before Zhaitan and it was until Zhaitan woke up and caused the Tsunami that Kuunavang sought her out. There is also the order of the dragons being lit up in the machine vision, which is again mirrored in the order of minions showing up the City of Hope. Play the episode and tell me what order the minions show up in.
  9. The line that says it’s my mission to decipher the vision and stop the dragon are two separate things. At the time we did not know that Zhaitan’s magic had gone back into Tyria. We had hints such as Tequatl Rising but nothing concrete. During that episode we did not know that the other dragon could use the other dragon magics. I get your passion with this interpretation, but It’s not representing what you think it is.
  10. Zhaitan’s orb entering Tyria orb was his magic entering the ley lines, thus causing the collapse of the balance and fast tracking the dragons becoming more powerful and dangerous. It makes absolutely no sense on why Mordremoth’s orb entered the Tyria orb unless he died and at the time he hadn’t yet. At this stage of the story, only Zhaitan died.
  11. We don’t know the exact amounts, yes Mordremoth got Zhaitan’s magic but so did Kralkatorrik, so did Jormag, Primordus, they all got Zhaitan’s magic. It also to went to Soo-Won, but was taken out via Jade tech.
  12. You made the claim that Soo-Won woke up after Zhaitan. Back it up with the evidence.
  13. Um…. the other dragons got Zhaitan’s magic as well. It was up for grabs… every other dragon got magic from Zhaitan when it died. The vision was showing that with Zhaitan magic entering the centre orb, that the beginning of the collapse was Tyria’s magical balance was starting…
  14. Oh? Where was that stated? Provide Evidence. Also play City of Hope again, you fight the dragon minions in order of the dragons’s awakening, which oh my is the same as in the machine cinematic…
  15. It matches perfectly when you compare it to the diagram of the Durmond Priory to the order of the awakening… The vision itself is showing that Zhaitan’s magic is in Tyria, which at the time of the vision is correct and not Mordremoth being stronger then the other dragons… Zhaitan waking up last makes absolutely no sense since Mordremoth woke last.
  16. Unfortunately you’re interpretation is incorrect . The Durmond Priory diagram is quite accurate however you appear to be ignoring the order of the orbs lighting up, which contradicts your analysis, as well. Also there is several examples of Primordus waking first, however here is one of them and it also shows the order of the other Elder Dragons minus Soo-Won and Mordremoth. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_Elder_Dragons Order of awakening, Primordus, Soo-Won, Jormag, Zhaitan, Kralkatorrik and Mordremoth. This order is perfectly mirrored in the vision that you are SEEING, which correlates perfectly with the Durmond Priory diagram as well, unless the vision is wrong now too…
  17. You have the two dragons backwards… Look at the diagram of The All as shown in the Durmond Priory. It shows Soo-Won top left, Zhaitan middle left, Primordus bottom left. Kralkatorrik top right, Mordremoth middle right and Jormag bottom right. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_All#/media/File%3AThe_All_(texture).png Also in the video watch when each dragon orb lights up. It lights up to the dragon awakening order. Mordremoth’s orb is the last to light up, which matches in game. By what you described that would mean Zhaitan was the last to awaken which is not true.
  18. Actually it is Zhaitan’s Orb that is crashing into Tyria, not Mordremoth. The vision is showing that Zhaitan’s orb has entered into Tyria pool of magic sort of speak. If you look at the placement of the orbs in The All diagram and compare it to the vision, the dark green orb is Zhaitan when compared to this diagram. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_All Also when you watch the cinematic the orbs activate which correlates to the order of each dragons awakening with Primordus being first and Mordremoth being last.
  19. Exactly, so you would think Vassals would be orange and blue, while it’s currently all blue energy on the landing.
  20. So I noticed that when using the Dodge on the different grand master traits for Vindicator, that the colour scheme appears to be off. For Forerunner of Death the Dodge is Orange to match Archemorus’s color scheme. Saint Zu Hetzer is orange blue, while the vassals of the empire is just blue. Shouldn’t the vassal and the Saint Zu Hetzer colours be switched since Saint Zu Hetzer is blue?
  21. It is an interesting observation though, with Soo-Woon being hit with Aurene’s crystal magic along with the other magics. Same as it’s an interesting observation that we battled Kralkatorrik while he was in the middle of the ocean injured with only one wing and no where to go.
  22. The text states that it’s an impression of a dragon, whose name Tyria has yet to know, so it could represent Soo Won, like an imitation of, but not exact copy. Similiar to the Jormag idols and Jormag graffiti not looking like Jormag, but representing Jormag.
  23. You would think that a good spot to introduce Canach would have been at the start of this episode. Introduce Kiel via mail as having to deal with a terrorist before Dragon Bash and throw in a few notes in the mission explaining some back story and have Canach’s story mission and continue onto the rest of the episode. Could even mention that Canach was in jail with Mia as well for the conclusion. I mean it’s possible to sneak it in somewhere else I guess, but a lot of Canach’s dialogue in season 2 is not going to make sense.
