  3. I never received a precursor from any source. I've been playing since before launch, with only about 40 days off. Averaging 4+ hours a day throughout that time. Yeah, the RNG sucks. For a dying game, they really should rethink some of the absurdly hard things to get to spice up playing again.

  5. Give us a way to abort a race adventure. If you make a bad turn going for gold, you shouldn't have to wait 12 minutes (or re-zone) just to start over.
  6. I would be OK with it, but my preference would be for a way to say "sell 20 of every item in storage that has more than 1900 for one cent less than the current sell price". Or "sell 100 of every item that has more than 1800". Etc. Fill in the numbers yourself, but some way to be able to find and sell items on a bigger scale.

There is an extremely detailed boon table with uptimes, offgroup and main group covering and outgoing boons from each player.Interrupts are probably a limitation of arc since hard cc context is not notified by server. Only shows the number of interrupts and not what was interrupted.Boon strips and condi cleanses are also shown but only the toal amount and not what was cleansed/stripped. Also shows evades, invuln, blind weakness and a lot of other stuff besied dps. You even get a full combat replay. Thank you! I'll check it out.
  8. So, how does ArcDPS account for interrupts (of the enemies)? How about boons turned into conditions? The effect of boons applied to the party?
  9. There is one lunar new year NPC who takes luck: Drooburt. I also think there's a weekIy new year vendor that takes some. I know of no other vendors that take luck except for a handful of one-time purchases. So, I strongly support this idea.
  10. The idea is to introduce photography to the game. I envision this as a gem-store purchase (a camera) that allows you to take pictures of the scenery and then post them on a "wall" in one's guildhall or home instance. (A "board" of some kind would have to be added, perhaps as a second gem-store purchase). Early photography requires film, which used silver nitrate to develop. This would give characters a use for the mountains of silver in inventory (which are nearly worthless). Film would be a consumable item that you craft (possibly as a jeweler, chef, or scribe). I'm not sure how to implement the computer piece of this, but I would guess some portion of the current "take a screenshot" could be made.

  13. I must disagree. As Cyninja said above, HoT contains some of the best designed maps in MMO I have ever seen. And I`ve seen a ton in 20 years playing the genre. I am sorry for bringing it up again, but expansion gave me so much of that FromSoft vibe that I am addicted to. At first you are nothing, little lost nothing. Dreading every new corner and tunnel. Getting lost trying to figure out how to reach that PoI, dying and giving up. And then coming back again for some more butcheek slapping. But after some time and learning you are a commando. You master the level/map and you are a God in the jungle, slicing through the NPCs and gliding between the trees like a kitten bird. Going from that lost, useless thing to a jungle God without any gear upgrade whatsoever is pure gaming for me. In short: if all GW2 maps shared the same philosophy it would be a masterpiece of the game even as a single player experience. I totally see what devs and designers tried to do there. Shame people weren't accepting. And ... it wouldn't have enough players to stay afloat.
  14. ANet made huge mistakes with Heart of Thorns (HoT). The maps are very hard to navigate because the mini-map doesn't properly reflect what level you are on. While they haven't fixed the mini-map, they did learn their lesson: Path of Fire and Living Story maps are a lot less cumbersome to navigate. They also put the time-gating in in HoT. You must get certain masteries in order to progress the story. They also corrected this blunder in later maps. But, you can do one thing to help in HoT as well: run two or three characters through at the same time. That way, you get the XP naturally rather than have to grind through it on the same character. Finally, they made the mobs almost impossible to solo. They corrected this in later maps as well, but they also turned down the heat a little in HoT. So, this isn't as much of a problem as it used to be.
  15. Character selection screen could use a facelift. I have to scroll up to four times to get to some of my characters. It could use selection dropdowns, to show character types (professions, races, elite specs, etc.)It could also use a search engine.

  17. Split the Promotions tab (in the Black Lion Trading Company). In one tab, include anything that's on sale (i.e. for a price cheaper than normal). For the other, include items that are not always available. Possible names might be "Price Reduced" and "Now Available", or something like that.
  18. Some days I solo it, other days there are people there. It's more or less random. But, you're right: I have had times when I arrived at the very end of the fight, and didn't get the spawn. That hasn't happened in this stretch, but it has occurred in the past. I wouldn't "count" that if it happened. I got the chest again today, so it appears "fixed". It bothers me that support said they can't do anything about in-game issues, and said I should file an in-game report (which I did a half dozen times, to no effect) or to put an entry into the bugs forum (which NEVER EVER gets replied to or fixed). I asked to involve management, because it is unacceptable to have a class of problems for which there is no available support avenue.
  19. Addendum: I got the Signet of Rhendak after 88 tries, and the Pendant of Arah after 114 attempts.
  20. Support washed their hands of it and told me to post in the bug forum here. Since that's useless 100% of the time, I said it was an unacceptable response. I DID say that if it's my fault, just say so, and then they can wash their hands of it. I don't expect them to tell me any DR details other than that's what's causing it. But, today it spawned for me. I'm still looking for anybody else who does this daily and has a glitch like this for an extended period. I know there are dozens of people who do exactly what I do every day: same character, doing WvW events between spawns of Rhendak.
  21. I'm not asking for an answer to my problem. I will get that (I hope) through support. What I want is to know if anybody else is seeing the problem.
  22. Lots of people do it daily. Usually there are 2-3 that pop in whenever I'm there, but I solo it if I have to. And, it's not silly. I did this for months daily. I DID receive a signet during that time interval (day 88), so unless it's been changed, it should still work. (NOTE: Perhaps 5-6 times during that interval it didn't spawn. I chalked that off to not having done enough in WvW the previous day. It always worked the next day.)

  24. The second one is just the one you interact with to start the event. It's the Grand Chest that's not spawning.
  25. You're missing the point: it worked for months just fine. Something changed. I'm trying to find out if anybody else is having this issue with Rhendak.
