  1. I know there's probably a million of these threads already, but I wanted to gauge ppl's thoughts on some Ideas/hopes I came up with for when the 3rd Xpac arrives. Fair warning, many of these are still works in progress, meaning some are more fleshed out than others so keep that in mind when you post your feedback. Thank you Guardian/Avenger: dps-focused spec. Gains an off-hand sword, shoulder armor, plus an overload ability for their virtues similar to Tempests. The drawback is that they can only focus on one virtue at a time, but once charged they can release an AoE field that has different effects depending on the virtue used. For Justice, it's damage/burning, Resolve gets healing/condi cleanse, and Courage gets stability/resistance Revenant/Savant: dps_focused (plus some condi) spec. Gains either scepter, focus, or dagger* and helm armor(maybe). Channels the legends of golemancers, Oola and Zinn and summons a large classic golem Gains unique skills, Zinn's Enhancements to boost golem's stats and your own, and Oola's Necrosis to allow you and golem to siphon health and convert boons into conditions. Utility skills center around command skills that order your golem to use special attacks like rocket punch, missile barrage, etc. Elite skill causes golem to self-destruct, knocking back opponents and releasing poisonous gas amd rendering utility skills useless until re-summoned with healing skill, similar to Ventari's tablet. Warrior/Monk: Support-focused spec. Gains melee staff, glove armor, and mantra skills Engineer/Apothecary or Aethermancer: Apothecaries gain a torch, and new utility skill, Chemicals. These behave like Thief's venom skills in that using them can add additional conditions to your weapon skills or create aoe fields that can harm enemies and buff allies. Brings back old traits Acidic Elixirs and Acid coating. Aethermancer By reverse engineering the technology from the Aetherblade pirates, Engineers are now able to channel aether magic through scientific means as Aethermancers. Gains main-hand mace and glove armor. weapon summons (either like guard's spirit weapons) for utility skills Elementalist/Spellslinger: Gains dual pistols and helm armor. Ranger/Warden: Wardens were mysterious creatures that protected the Echovald Forests of Cantha. Now Rangers can learn their secrets and carry on their legacy of defending nature from those who would exploit it. Dps/CC-focused spec. Gains hammer and boot armor, as well as Rage utility skills. Build energy during combat to use unique skill to temporarily transform into large tree monster. Thief/Duelist**: Gains off-hand sword and glove armor. Mesmeror/Shinobi: Shinobi gains dual daggers. Necromancer/Deathblade or Executioner: Deathblade gains main-hand sword while Executioner gains hammer. *would like to see a combination of two of these, even if it is unlikely that will happen. **Final name subject to change Any constructive notes and/or feedback is greatly appreciated. Putting aside Worlds 3 and 4, there are a couple of things that I'd like to see in the short term (hopefully by next year or the one after that); First off, I'd like to see the purple/black colored SAB weapons (Lord Vanquish set) if possible. The second thing I'd want is a set of SAB armor to go with our weapons. Kinda like the hologram helm from Dragon Bash but more blocky. Thank you for your time :)
  3. After the recent update to Windows 10, this game, as well as a few others, have been having issues with the audio where parts of the games are much quieter then they should be. In this game's case, I am unable to hear characters talking, especially during the story instances, unless I am facing them directly. Microsoft has said they are working on a patch to fix this, but is there a workaround for this issue until then? Any info you have will be greatly appreciated Thank you

  5. I pick hammer, based on an idea another person came up with, naming them Wardens (after the GW1 mobs https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Warden) which basically made them major dps guys with CC and can turn into tree monsters
  6. Crashed in LA as well. Tried moving to Dry Top, lasted a little longer before crashing again. Gonna wait til this is fixed to play

  9. Just an update; after using the client repair (and dc-ing twice) I was FINALLY able to complete the second LS chapter and I am now in Kourna
  10. I used repair client and it seemed to work, but I ended up dc-ing anyway. Got this error code 7:11:3:191:101
  11. I voted for staff cuz I made my norn warrior to be like spiritual warrior monk and I think the staff will be perfect for it
  12. I'd like for the next elite spec be more of an alchemist or chemist, which is one reason why I picked the torch as their weapon. The other reason is that, minus the berserker and scourge, only 3 professions are able to use a torch
  13. What I'd like is for the next elite spec legend to be an asura Golemancer (mainly cuz my only rev, so far, is an asura) but I couldn't decide if it should Oola or Zinn that they channel. But recently, I decided why not both? Your rev would would channel two golemancers at once who, given their shared history, would occasionally bicker at each other while the rev tries to play mediator and gets them to try to work together. The weapon I'm considering would be either a scepter, a focus, or both and their utility skills will involve controlling a golem hologram that hovers above the player when active.

  16. I'd love to have an athletic outfit for my daredevil. Also a kind of casual outfit that's somewhat similar to town clothes/wedding outfits but would look different and would have emblems based on what god/spirit/legion/college/cycle you picked when you made your character (ex. human picks Grenth in character selection, a grenth emblem would appear on their outfit)
  17. I like a lot of what you put here, that said I'd like the rev's next elite spec to have both a scepter and/or focus and channel the golemancer, Oola. It could be more offensive focused and can summon golem minions like the necro. Plus when you think about it, revs already channel an assassin with Shiro so having two would just be redundant.
