  1. Why is the limit we're allowed to buy so low? Why do I need to ask Anet to let me give them more money? Here is some math. There are 9 professions, and 24 possible build storage slots you can purchase.24 / 9 = 2.666 templates per class. With 3 major gamemodes in the game (WvW/PvP/PvE) there is less then one slot available for each on your classes. You could argue there is 3 (or 6) extra slots per character since there are build templates, but that doesn't quite make sense either. Build templates are what you actively modify, whereas build storage is what you save and revert to after tweaking your builds, they serve a different purpose for that reason. 24 seems awfully low in the first place. Should it not be somewhere in 60+ range?Maybe Anet could make them cost in the 900 gem range after 24 slots have been purchased, so it matches the price of build templates being 1 build = 300 gems. Let me give you more money Anet.
  2. Just straight up remove swapping classes before a match starts.
  3. they hated him for telling the truth...i say ban all those teefs who make circles whites.why do they keep running, they must be too scared to fight me! reported for posting vallun
  4. Have you played Thief maybe? When Thief gets CC'd, they only have utility teleports to use as stun break escapes. They cannot dodge while also being knocked down like Mirage can. That is the big difference. Thief has a bit more counter player then Mirage as they get punished harder for CCs. Mirage almost always has a dodge available, be it their F4, their dodge, or any of their utilities. If they couldn't be used while being CC'd, that'd be 100% different, but they can. As an opposing player, how do you outplay that? If the Mirage is smart, you can't. Thief can arguably do the same but really only with 1-2 utilities, compared to Mirage's 4-5 skills that are commonly ran.
  5. The nerf is pretty hard. Not because "other classes have 2 dodges, why not us" but, because it destroys a lot of synergy with traits. The dueling and Mirage trait line were hit hard indirectly by this, but this has been pretty expected since they've been meta since the launch of PoF, regardless if you were power or condi Mesmer. In terms of survivability, I think Mesmer is still very strong. You still have an insane amount of teleports and can dodge at-will, with enemy classes having no ability to counter play your dodges. No other class gets so many get-out-of-jail-free cards as Mesmer. The only issue currently I think is that damage output is low compared to other classes. I still thing the sigil of endurance is a massive issue. Every Mirage will, and always will, double stack them, they are simply required. I think it should be removed, or at least at a minimum: increase the CD to 18 seconds. If they do this (and they should), they should at least slightly buff the Mirage trait line as well as this would nerf the class hard, but make it more healthy overall.
  6. No idea why people are bringing up Team queues, we already have it. That's what ATs are. If it was only Team queues, there would not be enough players to even get a match, so I have no idea what fantasy world they live in. We really need to get rid of DuoQs, or at least have a SoloQ/DuoQ leaderboard split. Have there be two separate ranked leaderboards, for each gamemode, then allow players to rep their highest rank, it will everyone happy. People will still be able to ranked with their friends, and other players will be able to get legitimate games. Being top 100 means jack if you got boosted in a DuoQ to get there. Being top 100 in SoloQ is at least far more legitimate. Not sure why people think SoloQ isn't compeitive yet DuoQ is: Dota, League, CSGO, Fortnite, and Six Siege all prove this wrong. Another idea is: still have the DuoQ/SoloQ leaderboard split, but allow any number of people (2-5 players) queues up for ranked. If party size is greater then or equal to 2, have them go into TeamQ. If just a solo player is queueing, have them go into a SoloQ.
  7. I think it'd be a cool idea to have more emphasis on aerial combat. Such as different weapon skills midair, or have current skills interact differently midair. However with the current state of the game, it's extremely unlikely this will happen, and all of the original combat devs have left the company.
  8. Yeah, very much agree. The shade nerf made sense in PvP, it made no sense whatsoever to extremely low tier class in PvE. It was balanced in PvP before by the fact that it hit like a wet noodle. Mirage is just better then Chrono in it's current state in PvP currently.
  9. I can live with new Shatters which are incredibly mediocre since they're really a nerf in disguise. But, at least let us shatter without requiring clones. It feels incredibly clunky with this change and single-handedly destroys the enjoyment of Chrono for me. It feels this way in PvE and PvP.
  10. I wouldn't mind if they kept releasing Sagas. All I want is more Elite specs!
  11. Elitism isn't too bad in T4s. It's in CMs where it gets pretty bad...
  12. Every since the Chrono rework (aka mass nerf), the class feels extremely awkward to play. I get needing to be nerfed for being top tier for so long, and it's at a decent place balance wise right now. I can get used to the new shatters, but the requirement of having a clone up to be able to shatter makes the class feel so incredibly clunky and bad. It feels this way in every single gamemode . In PvP, Chrono is just absolute dumpster tier right now, so it could use all the help it can get. In PvE, adding back the regular shatter mechanic of needing no clones wouldn't change much. Please just make the class fun again, it wouldn't buff it too much to make it meta defining again.
  13. if nerfing scourge makes boons to strong, well I think boons and cleanses need nerfs regardless. The game has definitely power crept like crazy, there's too much damage and people die too fast to really bring out much depth to the combat. I think boons should be nerfed overall anyways since a lot of it just feels built in, rather then consciously achieved (holo,Guardian,Mesmer chaos trait line). Nerfing boons will definitely help bring down the power level. It just needs to be done carefully to not make core classes unviable.
  14. While I agree with pretty much all these changes, I still think Holo is too strong. With these changes you have to have slightly more skill to play Holo, but all of it's strengths are still there.I still think that Healing Turret needs a nerf, as it can full heal you (Holo 5 in healing combo field) with no healing power invested. Holo still really lacks any sort of downsides and is a massive powerhouse with mobility, stability, all sorts of boons, invuln, stealth, and insane damage. The only real weakness it has is it getting boon corrupted by Necros.Besides Holos still being a little insane (which I still see them being just as strong after this patch), I think the game is in a decently balanced state.
  15. I agree with all of this except for Vallun being a "good player" lol
