  1. We can create in the problematic areas a small boss to spawn and a new cutscene (Silverwaste) that will cause the population to reshuffle among different shards . And the same treatment later on , in case there too few people , detected by the system . Or gradually a "set of mini-bosses" , in case the of the zerg , killing it faster than the low-pop map Still give the immersion of open world , and the people in the low-pop maps wont be discouraged and strive to at least kill those set of mini-bosses for the loot
  2. Can we transform Fishing into a Worms-like game , where people could take turns to destroy the pockets of seawater that holds the fishes , as a group activity ? Ofc people could use the old rod

Hopefully they reduce the requirements for the armor by half ( the half of them progress instead toward the Variant ) and a special event for 10 days period in WvW where the tickets you collect are stored and a copy of them are transformed into triple the amount for the OW Variant one ., so you progress both in the same time Cycling through less rewarded contents offer - 3% reduction (that stacks) , each time (special event on server time) . Or +3% chance later (that stacks) one to find a "rare" one (variant 2)
  5. A redesign of of the pseudo-moba map , into a full one , with locked utilities and talents trees to lower the TTK for the first mins . Or evolved beasts , that change appearance over time , and the end unlock a pseudo-normal form (a more feral char) , with your current talents/utilities/specs/weapons. People can collect in-game Currency to speed up the evolution , of try to boycot it from reaching the final pseudo form (like Plague Inc) Edit:The first few forms can be an outdoor Activity for people to test it out And the unmovable towers are replaced with huge apes that as you progress with the time machine and change forms , they too get older and bigger and don't get afraid to attack the enemies ape , or more easily get blinded/ranged reflected/attacks can be blocked , leaving their friendly player unprotected

What if , rather than people getting fixated about Gold Per Min events on 3rd party sites and choosing what is best , people could check a daily Stocks NPCs that has : a) Complete 3 events of your choice (multiple options - starts at 14:00 server time) and you will get rewarded with 5g Box of gold every 30 min , for the rest of 3 hours . If you complete the event sooner ,you get +10% b) Choose another set of options (cannot join the first set) for 10 g (or 6g + a currency of their choice) per 30 min , the buff is extended into 6 hours b) New accounts , when they step into an invisible line near the low lvl World bosses areas , trigger a special event for the rest of the community to gather and extent the buff It is almost the same as the Daily Vault mechanic , but the community chooses and know where other peopleat any time . There is 2 drawbacks , where people with alts will try to squeeze out the mechanic , and people that can complete an Event such as instances in 10 min will be punished . Maybe those underpowered events should be brought up , because of powercreep , and offer some extra gold ? Merry Christmas

  8. I can see the working as a new spec and rather farming HP chores and XP grind, you have to collect some items to progress the bar. The items can be randomized , scavenger like
  9. I haven't logged in because of work , but what are the specials ? Could the system randomize the rest of the unfinished dailies , if you complete a special and have checked from the 2+ categories. Or if you party with another person the 4/4 daily completion reward or each single daily quest completion (1/4) is shared among his party memebers , regardless if he has it? (99% ram comsuption and freeze . Firefox must hate windows 7)

There's a PS2 game called "Suicoden 3" (great game), where it plays like an traditional RPG that allow you to control 4 characters and when the "chapter" ends , you are guided to the main menu and manually you choose : a ) either to continue the chapter with those same characters and meet some new , and play till the very end . b) or play a different set of characters (2 extra groups) that interlope at some with the "main set of characters" , but you learn their backstories , rather than show up in your group randomly . One groups are the your tradition Knights (Romans) , Celts (hate romans) , Suicoden 2 heroes (created a problem-know tibits about the world) . Wouldn't be best to introduce the same pattern for the next expansion , where some rivals-enemies progressively come to an understanding to the same goal , some beloved friends die , while extending the playthrough/world building ? The only downsize is the increased cost in the voice lines , while the world assets will remain the same , where each group start from a different area (main hub , tribal village , shipwreck after a storm). edit: And within each group , you can right click an npc position (change appearance - open shared bag number #11) , where you "see-sense-track" things more easily , but you don't have voicelines . And each group can "open" new mastery points/areas for the other 2 groups to exploit/learn (like the HoT wollow-underground mechanic , rather than unlock it with exp)
  11. Well if some companies have millions to spent , they can repeat the same model as "Defiance" (series + game) for the next 10 years. They can spent money "hiring" existing companies , which are experienced to create single-player games to expand their universe . Our own devs can benefit from three-four contracts . And who knows ... maybe after 10 years the million-dollar-company can see their craze in their IP and create an mmo , while the rest of the companies stagnate with ideas The future looks like , very grimdark (lore/parody)
  12. There could be a humongous creature like Tequatl , where we technically never kill it , but always retreat and it is chained to a very old ship , draggin it down . Let's call it Bubble..gum. In the seas in creates a huge whirlpool and stand amidst of it , while our Skiff + Skimmers are always forced to go forth in that circular whirlpool . With the goal to use an auto-cannon-missile railgun mechanic (people can man up the skiffs and attack with extras manual attacks for extra damage) and avoid any old-arcade-multi aoes in the water surface . (here we can add other mechanics , like people that have high skill fishing have a chance to be summoned otop the monster and use their "fishing breakbar" to navigate a hooked fish they caught in the the Player's boats (they have 6sec) , so both of them (mount and fish) will be dropped out of the whirlpool and they can get the fish before it is sucked in the middle forever . Or 2megaFishShips preventing "pirate Skiffs-Skimmers" from coming at board their ships and then the second stage of navigating flying sharks(wired dead puppets ) to eat the enemies that are in the Ship's Hold , while the fisherman are looking from above . People that were eliminated , they can become "fishes" and try to eliminate other player , in order to increase their rewards) In the Open World Bosses , we can see it's fin , creating a pathway-quicksand for those two mounts to be used in combat for some seconds and the pathway sourounds the boss for some artilley barage throught his invulnerability stage

Shouldn't the Enemy Commanders (if they have 9+people) be allowed to ask for a structure bombardment (edit: zero damage -- just animation -- activate it in the minimap UI like Teleport icon and activate it) , where how long the animation continues before a wall/door is destroyed , the more loot will be given to them (max 4 min)? But it will "beckon Defenders" to come forth and also get "tickets" for defending There some strats about that mechanic: a) If he commander is comfortable with their "size" , they will go for more rewards (chance: ticket , gold , catchup Server Score , structured locked for 4-8min (based on max duration)). b) Let the defebders burn the supplies repairing and come back later c) Split the enemy and go somewhere else d) Don't activate it and the enemy will will gravitated towards offensive megazergs , leaving defense barren (benefit small-stealthy groups). Edit: Also create a "Warrior's Flow" where each attack (invisible 1-5 vulnerability - try to tag//condition more) on the enemy offer increased passive Supply regeneration . And if you have already max Supply when you enter the Tower , or don't spent any till you regenerate 15 , get a 0//5-cost siege disabler/catapult (max 3x GigaDisablers can be effectives at the specific ram--great help for one Defender) , helping you reach the "offensive gold star" easier. If the defender try to loot the Supply to full and repair the wall , then they loose the momentum of "Flow" and should focus to defend + 100% kill on person for the Silver reward. Essentially be offensively annoying (but the enemy progress) and get Gold , or to try to repair+ kill the attacker (good luck vs stacked or escaping people) for the Silver
  14. Yeah , there could be something like a "Bounty-Challenge" to que up and challenge them next week . Or they can choose between the three hourly timezones (8 hours) , like a "hired gun" mechanic , but the defenders choose the timezone they wish to defend . And the population/server that agreed by the Commanders/Guilds leader with the most population to be replaced, will go into the to play with other servers. If a server have 75+% winrate for a long time (overstack) , then a "random-timezone-Bounty" will be also enabled and they must defend it there too , along as with the "specific timezone-Raid challenge"

Also there could be a new track achiv that invalidates the 10k rank Title (if you spent one tome) and you are eligible for a new that cost 10k normal rank + 3k tomes (13k lvl max) Edit:Or doing the "heavy weekly objectives" (capturing towers , not camps) , allows you to spent some tomes on yourself. Edit2: Or playing after you have completed your weeklies , open some "spaces" for tomes to be used (randomly "locked stones-boxes" could drop , that need tome to be unlocked and offer either lvl ,, tickets or gold)

I wish we could have back Polymock back , with each OW event at the end , have a chance to summon a "rare random critter" to train and "unlock random utility -CUT-Strenght-Dig" to progress the story (max 2 dublicates abilities per account) . And every three days you can visit the "mystical lake" that allows you to reroll your critter ability to a Ability you dont own to progress the story. Edit: In order to prevent having a "perma critter that knows CUT" and invalidate future updates , they can use in stories a specific-random ammount before they hurt themselves (try to find some other CUT-npcs) Hostile-Critter exist in the OW to train , or stronger/more exp will show up at the end of the OW events. The chance to get a new critter is diminished with repeating same content (better roam the land).And each core map has one new rare critter , or clues/bait for the next area ). Every 3-5 months (content draught) we could have a new Poly-Gymto get a badge , where it will rememeber and randomize the specs /rotation that beat it and use it vs the real players . Beating the Poly-Gym , gives you the right to be used as Optional-Lieutenant-Event , and you will be summoned if the new players push the option "I want to give me your best shot" (and other players that beat it can becomes optional bosses). Regardles if they win or loose they can fight the Gym Leader and they will get better reward based on their progression (critters killed). At the end of the year there is the Mega-Tournament with a mix of NPCs and Lieutenants-encounters(the results doesn't matter vs them). And like any other Pokemnon series rip-off , in order to fight the Poly-Gym you have to solve the missing-Leader-quest(DRMs) and you must find Polymocs with CUT-Strengh-etc to progress , or you need three critter that knows Strengh (or Critter-Master to learn SuperStr in your critter) to help that GM's foot which is stuck under the rocks for 141 hours ... Edit2:Afar as WoW gear progression goes , there could extra sockets with extra stats that allows you to wield "beter weapons" made of gold that break with every 3month patch and return the gold (but not the socket stats) .They could offer mobility out of combat / teleport to another "gold weapon user "on OW bosses / Dodge becomes a Repel and Counterattack mechanic , but puts a random utility on cd / Hold down auto attack (+other gold users tocombine) for some heavy attacks
  17. Generally there is a tiny part of the population that don't like green effects . And rather than having people winning about future expansions too , shouldn't there be a slider that allow us to change the color , to let's say a more "gentle" orange. Also if the same could happen for any crystals effects (SooWon) , to be more icy with minimum colors in it . The down left + upper right side of it , with 15% of it's surface to have some rainbow colors Edit: Rather than bloat the UI all the time , there could be a Merchant ingame that sells : "Tourist Hue Glasses"
  18. This is a nice idea ! We could add an additional "hex" mechanic in each attack .Passively you gain one "hex" , every 1 sec and by executing any attack you deplete it , doing 1000 damage . What the user actually see is a new HP bar that is depleted by each "hex" , while you can keep seeing high dps numbers (for RP/progression reasons) by damaging the hidden hp that have tremendous Regeneration's . Now that the boss hp/players attack are normalized , Bosses gain Armor Penetration so it doesn't matter if you have Berserker or Soldier
  19. Rescue Protocol (self-rez) could alter your downstate skills and allow you to move and fight for your life (temponary transform you into the Shadow-form tonic you can get from the Strikes) . Temponary Sensor (check hidden treasures)+ Turtle can anticipate to which player will be targeted next by the system (roll the dice and target him 2 sec before) and block the projectile that will place the aoe on that player feet (or can see future cc-tornatos deployment) . Turtles counts 'battle-mount" where it can be equipped mid-combat for 10 sec (depleting hp + self poison 100% reduction) . Or combining turtles can create a a huge turtle that will devour players +the boss and inside theres a new platform/map/castle/cathedral , hidden within the walls there are single-hit-big-spears/swords/katanas to be used by each player .Edit: Or acrobatic attacks with said weapons (use ranged vines) => slash downwards Skiff , hm .While on land in transform into a Battle-Mount-Motocycle (chopper that have hold 3 players and each passenger are transformed into missiles (start 1000 yard upwards and start falling) and half way , shoot and spread mini missiles ?) + other various weapons (change of pace), or naval combat/transform into landrover and shoot player with their mounts + while they on mid air they do an attack + pulled back(rope) after 5 sec regardless of the outcome =>retry . Easy to loot Wood/fish with the Mount air-attack and spread with allies and then move to the next resource)

There could a mechanic to sacrifice leg/asc gear to the jade bot , in order to unlock cool new skill effects, or just like the old WvW event , you have a chance to get Skills from other classes (with charges + a popup button in the upper space of the 5-10 utility slot , that when pushed it will replace the utility slot beneath (you should try to change the Healing skill + long elite for max damage) ) . Or anew F6 button (by again sacrificing gear) that acts like an extra weapon swap mechanic (BladeSworn) that pick up corrupted weapons dropped by the enemies (or when the breakbar is destroyed) for few min , midfight (test-ground for future weapons)

  22. Shouldn't we make Stability a 1.5 sec duration in PvE , that doesn't stack in duration , atleast for CMs ? So it becomes a "clutch" mechanic vs Minister Lee + other future knockback bosses ? Otherwise the raid team , should not waste time creating any more boss knockbacks effects . (Or mobs(enemies-not pets) count as extra "friendly" player for greens , so they another strat is let them be alive (get improve stats(or evolve to multi-aoe ranged) with each succefull green) . That way 3 people can kite and do the greens , while the 7 rest burn the boss , but in the last phase they will get bombarded by the improved Npcs , forcing them to waste utilities for Reflect/Ranged Denial Spells ,or take the normal route of doing the boss fight as intended (6 people on greens))
  23. We could put the word : " (latest) " , right next to "Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons™ Expansion" in steam , so we avoid the scenarios of people whining about the 200gems per episode in HoT and PoF . But idk ... it will mean less money for the company
  24. What if the give a lesser server the Edge of the Mists (its full of chokepoints , so more battles) ? While the worst lesser server will get Bordelines (less battles) ? The we replace the 3rd one with an EoD-PoF-HoT map or make it more pretty, later one . The majority , will move towards the easier maps ..aka here rather than gank another lesser serer
  25. Stronghold Should be a copy - paste of Mobas , then we slap it with 60% Damage/Healing Reduction and the debuff reduced every 30 sec . Items should offer buffs to npcs (build Amulets + Cond/Physical Strike Reduction Runes) or summon differently stronger ones (that have F2-f4 skills) . That way it will be a mode for new players , not to get obliterated in 10 sec 😛 Edit: Roamers(or any1) can spent their money towards faster-debuff-reduction , but it will reduce for their team and the oponent in the same time . One team will try to "turtle" with npcs , while the other will try to "out-shell" them and the massacre (20% reduction period) begins in the 8th min . If both parties aims for the same , then they will duke it out in the 5th min
