  1. My idea fix, The initial velocity if the AA orbs should increase, then slow towards normal speeds based on the distance of the target. Example: 900 range, velocity increases by 50% until the orb reaches 600 distance of target600 range, orb velocity increases by 25% until orb reaches 300 range300 range, orb travels normal velocity.The biggest issue (maybe?) is if you're deliberately focusing a target across the map, trying to fire faster orbs on.. say, a downed target in front of you. Mechanics can be put in placed like, velocity does not increase if target is beyond 900 range.... regardless it wouldn't be a big deal because that target would be moving too. Aesthetically, Scepter is considered a magic weapon so it should be fine.
  2. ... when the files are only a few KB. The last patch for example had ~12k files at an average of 102 KB each and 4k of them were less than 10 KB each. Maybe i'm missing something here because I have never seen a kb/s when downloading an .exe file. (I redownloaded GW2.exe from GW2 website). Even then I'm still downloading the file at MB/s, it took a seconds. I never once saw a kb/s anything, anywhere. Downloading at kb/s connection will literally take days to complete... so maybe we're talking about two different things here? I was assuming the OP was talking about downloading the actual game patch as oppose to the .exe game client... @Mister Ch.7854 hasn't updated us on the exact issue he's experiencing.
  3. cough mace cough Scepter is at least used on core Guardian who prefer the range pressure... while mace is used on bunker'ish builds in WvW and PvP... by players who have no idea how to optimize their Guardian. TL;DRMace is bad.
  4. 500 KB/s is NOT Normal when his internet service provider offers 100 Mbps (assuming he's not talking about 100 MB/s, which would be a Gigabit connection, but is still very not normal). What could be normal is a potential server outage and/or a surplus of users downloading from a particular server, all at once. Depending on his area congestion on that particular server, Steam for example (the gaming program) is notorious for such server congestion... it is generally not very forgiving for a potential user request when asking for files to download. Blizzard Entertainment, however, are great when it comes to Peer-to-Peer file transfer. They generally give users excellent download speeds to their servers. (This said, i'm NA and have excellent download speeds from Blizzard, unsure about EU. If people need to check their local download speeds from servers, that would be speed tests from websites like Speedtest.net or their own ISP provider's website.(NOTE: If able, pick the server closes to your location)
  5. Temple of the Silent Storm - I'm constantly teleporting myself through the wooden stairs when targeting a person on Temple node point, instead of landing on the above platform.

Pistols (Mainhand) because of our skill-set possibilities; #3 having three shot bursts, #2 interrupt enemies and grants Quickness to allies, #1 having a 3 shot, 2 shot, last combo is a 1 shot that interrupts and completely refreshes pistol#3... you know, OP stuffs. Though Shouts on Warhoarn would be interesting to theory craft, FB is already support oriented. I absolutely DO NOT want another support spec... not everyone likes that role m8.
  8. If we're going to advocate for spellbreaker nerf, maybe focus on the spellbreaker mechanics instead of advocating changes that hit every warrior build that chooses to use Greatsword. Its overpowered. It gives way too much defense. The ability to escape at your leisure? Check! And some evade frames? Check! This is part of the problem with warrior in general. That they can simply escape and heal up and reset the fight. a 450 range .75 second evade is for escaping and fight resetting? Whirlwind plus Rush is the combo, which is hardly OP compared to Thieves and Mesmers... Well, mesmer and thieves are not as sturdy as warrior too. So can you imagine that putting it all together in 1 class? Resistance? Check. Stability? Check. Immunes? Check. Passive Healing? Check. Mobility? Check. Mesmer/thief = Broken Teleport spots? Check. Broken stealth mechanics? Check. Insane Mobility? Check. Insane Burst capability? Check. Immunes? Check.Even the so called "most balanced" holosmith = huge aoe? check. big damage? check. insane mobility? check. stealth? check. on demand stab? check. auto proc immune? check. tons of cc? check Spellbreaker sure is strong, but people argue in ways i don't understand. No offense but of course you wouldn't understand. You are a warrior main, you will never understand. Also, not of those classes you mentioned can take a 2v1 or a 3v1. Thief does not have immune either. Funny you bring up 3 classes just to match the capability of 1. Only thing that SB/war does not have here is stealth So to what level do you wish to nerf a spellbreaker into?Bronze tier sounds fair :)
  9. [PvP]FB for sure. The only catch is due to the spec's support-type-elite, we are more reliant on our team than usual. But have, say, two teams of equal skill fight each other. The team with a Firebrand in the comp will win. This is the strength of FB that most overlook.
