Yes i confirmed the glitch, i hope anet will fix it soon, those was taken by phone so the quality is kinda bad.As you can see i can freely use another set of skill without losing any minion, tho this was in city but all minion can fight normally but you can't just use any of minion's utility.

I think i've figured it out and already reported this, it's a glitch that has something to do with mount system. This glitch is quite a broken one, not tested in WvW yet but as long as you can use mount its there.

I'm absolutely sure he was the only necro there. I was playing a rev 3 of my friend were playing war mesmer and ranger.

Just yesterday i was doing bounties with my friends then something really caught my attention when a random reaper joined in the phrase. From the outside he just look like any ordinary MM reaper but the strangest thing is tho he was having all 7 minions up including blood fiend, 2 bone minions, shadow fiend, bone fiend and golem up he still able to use full "Shout" set. I literally saw and heard the sound efx of him casting "Chilled to the Bone", "Your Soul is Mine", "Suffer" etc. Is this even possible ? Because non of my friend and me were a necro he was the only one around, i tried to whisper and ask him but no answer then vanished right after the fight's over. I also took some screenshots but my friend said that can't proves anything since he look just like a normal MM. So basically what i saw back there was a necro running full dps utility while still having all minion up to protect him.

I don't and won't touch scribing. I would happy to spend thousands of gold just to level up scribing IF it offers private hall version, not guild hall. I was original from Rift and one thing i like so much about that game is "Dimension System" which i think would be fantastic if anet can do something similar. Basically they copy and paste a certain zone or corner of a map and turn it into your own private area, you can go decorate, hunt and craft new deco. It has ranking system via upvotes from everyone visited your home.

I tested lord hizen's scourge build, it's very strong but i'm still preferring to power because managing life force, where to place my shades, i've had so much troubles with constantly moving chanps and tho it can get the job done but the epic combat flow with scepter is what killed the hype in me.

Achievement reward items are permanent and one time only so no duplicate, which mean you have to find another achievement or get new one somewhere using other methods like laurels shop, LW3. What do you mean by "accidentally", sold to npc vendor, drag it out of your inventory, put it on a character and deleted that character ?. If sold and drag, there is no way to get it back because once you left or logout all buy back items will disappear, drag it out is a one way ticket. The last one however can be saved by support a ticket and ask for a character recovery along with all items that char had at the time of delete. Those trinkets you list are Amulets not rings. I suggest save up gold and get at least episode 3 and 4 of LW3 to ease up the matter.

Skyscale took me 15 days and 6 of that i spent to farm currencies, three chars, using taco for nodes if i had time or just daily hearts. Took less than 3 or 4 hours a day depends on my work schedule although i was lucky that i had spare charged quartz . The funny thing is griffon took me 26 days to farm that 250g, guess we're just different or i'm suck at making gold. Tell you the truth, i was extremely worried when they announced the mount which i thought i have to make like 500g for it. Assuming you only have 1 level 80, hearts in each map plus 5 in dragonfall vendor per day can easily pull 25 to 30 each maps. Don't compare your beloved class with necro unless you main one or into them. It is certain that necro is at the peak of most solo OW but to be honest you (me aswell) feel no achievement while doing so. I once had so much troubles with thief, took me a whole full year to master and it was worth it. Now i'm confidence that everything my necro can so is my thief, ofc it's not at the level of being lazy or a god but with joys and challenges.Take what others has recommended, trait into Invigorating Precision and heal as you deal damages. What i did back then was using signet of malice so i can focus on the fight and healing as the same time while doing so, not worries about heal button and panic when it on cd, things went wrong sometimes and i died but got right back to it, run and reset the fight.I suggest make yourself marauder gears, it works perfectly on thief, have p/p setup as back up because unload provides like instant 25 might and able to heal nearly ~30% in just one push, don't feel ashame of this playstye cause that's how you survive, have S/P and spam sword #3 to heal while evading. Your dps out put won't be good but as long as you're alive so what ?. If you have access to DD and DE that's even better, DD staff can do a lot of cleaves, more target hit is more heal, DE will gives you perma fury, regen, vigor, swiftness and 50% uptime protection so with one unload you won't be needing that heal skill anymore (if it hits the target ofc :p).One more option is using rune of vampirism, you lose more damg but able to heal 10% each time something is killed either by you or those you tagged and killed by other players, 10% here is your total HP so it heal more with marauder but i think berserker is perfectly fine.Cheers <3

Since @"Skotlex.7580" already answered most of your question, i'll only add some extras. There is a clear line between survival build and fractal build.For fractals in general survival will not be an issue because teammates will back you up, which mean full dps as always. But if you truely have too much trouble staying alive then i recommend craft yourself a full set of Marauder gear. With this you lose 15% DPS i believe but your thief/guard HP will up from 11k to nearly 16k. Only go with this option if you can't stand that 11k HP.As a thief, either you go full zerker or marauder is fine because if you trait into Invigorating Precision causes survival won't be a problem, you lose 10% dps trading for survival ofc, nothing is perfect. This also works well in solo play as long as you can dodge out of big attacks.As a guard, if you found that DH is too hard to stay alive i strongly suggest you take a look into Firebrand, this build allowed you to provide supports, boons, heal to allies and yourself. Me personally i found myself alive more often as being a FB rather than a DH (just me tho). For solo play i usually have two builds, DH using marauder with rune of vampirism, this rune heals you for 10% of total HP once you killed a foe, no ICD which mean you will be fine as long as you able to kill something and the more HP you have from marauder the more you heal. Note that in 1v1 fight where there is nothing to kill this build is useless so keep that in mind.FB with full carrion, this one is very cheap and quite effective in solo play, you have high HP, lots of stunbreak, condi cleanse, massive AoE potential in open world farming and meta events, healing can be tricky but that's learning issue, able to put out good (not best) dps.You can find all the builds i've mentioned on Metabattle.com along with all possible Soulbeast build.Soulbeast is perfectly fine in solo play cuz of pets, idk how it is doing in fractal since i never used my ranger there.For gold farming usually doing HoT meta, SW farming, istan (LW4E1), i highly suggest you download taco and watch Tekkit's Workshop guides, he has a lot of taco utilities help you navigate around and farming effectively.Learn to use gw2efficiency.com , you can find all that is need to craft any piece of ascended, search in there and materials list will shows up, follows that list to gather or buy things you need.For the beetle mount you need to own LW4 "Long Live the Lich". So basically free if you already owned the episode, if not, well get your gold ready to unlock that ep.For skyscale (dragon mount), this one takes a really long long time to finish if you don't own the whole LW4 because there is a step required you to farm a stack of all LW4 currency. You can still do this even if you don't have all LW4 episode, there is a vendor in dragonfall that sells all LW4 currency but you can only by 5 of each per day. Skyscale is not hard to obtain, it just takes a long time to finish.

Also while we at it, the devs are probably aiming for immersive and make us went through an enormous collection, from watching our girl grow up day by day, play with her, suffer her puberty, get her out of troubles. So why don't we improve immersive level by adding let say "hungry bar", unless you feed her with skyscale food she will only runs on the ground and won't be able to fly again, good way to sink more charged quartz too tho :p . Anyway enough jokes. Please do something about the attack skill, it is so easy to miss, makes it ground target so we can aim manually would be nice.

If it's just open word and WvW then full marauder is perfectly fine. You lose about 10% damg but gain nearly 40% hp plus higher crit chance but not much. If you like mixing them then marauder armors and zerker trinkets, either marau or zerker weapons is fine. if you worry about the future (which u should be) like fractals or else then full zerker armor and two set of trinkets with marauder/zerker, by this you able to easily swap between full dps/mix survival, mainly because trinket with either stats are much easier to obtain and cheaper than armor. Same goes for weapons. And to your question, i say yes totally worth it if you follow the option 2 with trinkets, be flexible depend on situation. Also as trinkets every other characters can uses it too, what's more that no re-skin needed when you decide to switch stats :) .

Second one is the more enemies you hit the more heal you get mace #3 this one heal for a fairly good amount, always use this with mace #2. Third one is SB #3 yes this one is tricky but mainly for heal from ranged combines with place down Soulcleave + SB #3 your HP can get back up alot, combo with SB #4 if you can for extra burning, remember to deactivate Soulcleave afterward. Last one is Embrace the Darkness only use this one when your energy runs low then swap lengend.Two emergency heal skills, Renegade is all about constantly applying torment.Darkrazor is a very powerful CC on low cd plus light CC from axe #4 #5, Darkrazor can be killed and CCed but this should not be a problem, plus sometimes Icerazor can even takes a brief aggro for you.Biggest downside is energy management ofc and gear up is quite expensive for an OW build, but once you get a hang of it this build is really good. I too have necro but i started to have alot of fun with this one instead. After a month of trying i can't go back to the slow necro anymore.Rune of torment is the key to this build, won't works without it. 70% of my healing comes from the runes.

I know this thread is old but if the discussion still go on i want to add that condi renegade with rune of torment is very powerful in OW. The healing is insane plus CC and high Aoe burst. You also bring quite decent supports with Orders from Above and Soulcleave. If you are tired of necro i suggest give this one a try.

Also can you add an AoE circle to skyscale attack skill ?, It is very hard to aim and 7 out of 10 times i missed my target.

My advice is using Action Camera, this allowed you to move(run) freely at any directions without walking but run, each times you caught and threw the ball a brief slow down will happen but after that you can run. Next is eat endurance regen food + swiftness buff from skills or passive 25%, this help you dodge more often and run faster with action cam, another one is by playing a daredevil with dash trait (idk if this gonna works in there but worth a try), last one is too adjust your camera angle in settings, make it so that your field of view as wide as possible and covers more surrounding. The game punish you hard for having 5 character slots and one or two lv80, i have 10 but using 9 for this and still feel the farm is just too much, otherwise my friends who new to the game, they really want skyscale but after heard what i said they all feel very depressing to the point i have to halt all my progress and only bring 1 or 2 characters farming with my friend to encourage them not to give up. Have fun farming, take it slow guys, the skyscale will be your sooner or later.

Welp. Speaking of Jahai Bluffs alone, it took me 6 hours farming non-stop with 5 brand new characters to get 250 Mistonium. Thing is Jahai probably one of the easiest map to farm in. 15 mistonium from hearts + 25 from rifts + 25 from map completion (if available) + 5 per meta events (optional), so i can get the minimum of 40 Mistonium per character but 6 hours is alot and i haven't do so for a long while, pretty tired. Idk what going to happen in other maps.

With this, players are forced to return and farm in every LWS4 map this might leads to higher population per maps for awhile, so if you feels like your alts are too weak i suggest just get them quick trash gears then join them rather than solo. I too have to utilize 9 alts, Jahai is one of the easiest map to get full 250 first.

People with 5 character slots going to take "awhile", provided that all 5 are 80 and geared up decently. Tho i have 10 but only 9 can be used, it still took me a 3 days straight for the first half of requiem collection. I could see how difficult it can be to obtain 250 of each LWS4 map. Gonna take this slow from now on, ppl are upset with the timegate but with this, even without timegate it still takes days to complete.

You have to be within her hunting ground NOT stand beside her.
