    Because someone at Anet thought that forcing you to repeat hearts = a good way to add longevity to expansion pack areas. You have to do it all over again whenever you wish to buy stuff from the heart NPC.

    Ain’t seen nothing until you meet a Charr in Medium armour who’s inevitable trench coat will parachute out at the end of his jump and literally obscure everything. The Halloween clock tower transforming “enemy” players into wisps makes it one of the best in the game.

    Except that it totally is. You need to salvage the “spirit” of the experiment tiers to completely craft it - and those tiers are once per account because achievements/collections.

    Nah. The issue is that a huge portion of the cost is in tier 2 but the precursor is crafted in tier 3. Actually yes. Yes in fact. Being tied no non-repeatable achievements is exactly why you can only craft one.

    Why, exactly? GW2 is based around avoiding attacks rather than tanking them. If anything, Warriors/Guardians/Revenants in traditional knight armour rolling around like Sanic the Horrhedge is just as ridiculous. Less restrictive armour makes much more sense. Also it is a fantasy game: our characters, like Conan and Red Sonja, have plenty of plot armour.

    Wooo, I’ma muse! Keep in mind that while I fell in love with the Charr skull mask, the other races also have some cool starter masks. I’d definitely play around in the character creator to check ‘em all out. ;) Sylvari have another particularly cool one, as I recall.
