  2. same meta for 2 years do not help on top of that. and stronghold btw :) Stronghold was a complete failed idea for a game mode for gw2. If it can't work for competitive play it's not worth mentioning imo. Same meta for 2 years does suck but I don't think it's been completely the same for 2 years.Untill recently fb scourge was meta for entire duration of pof. Still every mat there been a support fb winning. Rev has also not changed much. 2v2 was nice for the week we had it lol

It might be unpopular opinion coming from me but I find ( mechanic wise )Scrapper and chrono to be HORRID for the game.Scrappers barrier is one of the biggest kitten statcheck mechanisms in the game. Holo is basicly engi with 2 weapon sets. Holo>Scrapper design wise.Chrono F4 and chronophantasma can QUADRUPLE the phantasms cast, its gonna be always bad mechanic. For all its flaws mirage can be balanced with its current iteration. Mirage>chrono.Cant say for druid.Feel free to agree or disagree. you feel chrono was bad for the game right before the rework and tradeoff came? also old hot scrapper was not just some boring bunker. it could actully make "plays" compared to pressing bulwark gyro and facetanking 3 enemies.
  4. Can we get some nice build diversity. Would be nice if we could get some of the forgotten hot specs back (chrono, druid, scrapper, dh) theese so called tradeoffs are destroying the classes completely while i feel like the problem with balance is they the "broken elite specs" do not get nerfed only the core mechanics of the profession.(looking at mirage here) This leading to worse balance all aroud on top on not fixing the problem. I would love to see old runes/sigils even amulets come back. Anthing to make the game feel "fresh" again.
  5. good thing chrono got tripple tradeoffs since it was so broken before nerf. chrono was not even played by a single player above plat. and now its not played at all :) Drazeh, Flandre, Luana, Kaazers (& you) come to mind. But ye, barely seems playable right now.before the rework it was barely played at all. not when it was "meta" so to say.
  6. think if we remove evade and LoS it would help too. maby rework movement also. make every class default walk instead of run so ppl cant run away.
  7. i would suggest base hp should be 10-20 on thief so they get oneshot if they come close to an enemy player. would make thief a decap bot again an ez balance

  9. need to make PI proc on the thief itself if you land it on a enemy player. would be a great fix.
  10. Than after they should go to the class or classes u play and reduce damage of all skills 300% and increase all skill cd's to 2 mins.Ez fix :) i dont think its possible to nerf chrono more but ey you never know. oh and it was a jk sir, in case you did not notice.

  13. Seems like a good way to balance oneshot builds. Just removing the elite spec "looking at chrono here" and players find another build to oneshot on. Problem is not how the class work. Its from stacking every single dmg modifier with the ability do a como that oneshot from stealth. Much like both thief and ranger can. Nerf the amulets or nerf the 1 skill that is problematic. In this case its mesmer traitlines focused on dmg and greatsword itself. Power mesmer will never be viable for anything else then oneshot if you do not change how greatsword work. On top of this i want to see them reworking mirage and the chaos traitline for mes. Passive gameplay is just not fun.

In melee range: Overcharged Shot - 450 range knockback,14s cooldown, no cast time Point Blank Shot - 600 range knockback, 15s cooldown, 1/2s cast timeIllusionary Wave - 450 range knockback, 30s cooldown, 1/2s cast timeRifle Butt - 600 range knockback, 15s cooldown, 1/4s cast timeStaggering Blow - 180 range knockback, 18s cooldown, 1/2s cast timeCounterattack Kick - 130 range knockback, 15s cooldown, 3/4s cast time etc. etc. Overcharged Shot is the only knockback (a hard cc) that doesn't have an animation.lmfao, no cast time that some pepega shit right there. The skills skill needs to travel to its target ontop of landing. The skills state 1200 range. Your lucky if you can hit anything if the range is over 600, the skill will hit 1/5 of the time at best at beyond that disctance. Much like axe 3 on warrior work. The skill pretty much needs to be used in melee range and it cc the engi itself. How on earth do you justify a nerfing something like that?

I have candidates from healthy competitive games who would love to be part of this new balance team to put Guild Wars 2 in the right direction :)) (Obliviously of course!! it will cost Anet a wholesome pay) In the end, they will be worth every penny cause they take healthy competition seriously ---they will not allow any professions to go through years and years of excusable nerfings also--- more importantly, there will not be found of any Profession Favoritism within the balance team and to have their Favorite Profession to be excused of nerfing either- Definitely, Will Not Be Tolerated!! I'm all in for us building a new balance team :) Well i dont think anyone would not want a dedicated balance team. Problem is anet dont want to spend any recources on a gamemode that dont make them any money.And they fact that they seem to market only pve and the casual side of the game when i think we have one of the best combat systems out there. Its beyond sad that pvp/wvw get treated this way.

  18. There is like 2-3 ppl i belive working on wvw/pvp. Its simple pvp and wvw dont bring them any profit so they get ignored as a result. Thats why we get delayed balance and also why we get such a bad balance to begin with.
  19. That would actully be a great idea. A completely new meta every 3 months or so. Right now we had the same fb/scourge meta for ages. Both in wvw and pvp for that matter.

  21. Start by looking at the current low skill high reward builds/extreme cheese.For an example condi daredevil. The build is way too easy to play for how rewarding it is. Rework Deadly ambition completely, it is insane to think that they buff the trait in the comming patch, so now you when you port in and out with sword 2 you will get poison from it every time. This is one of the many builds that need to get "fixed"Just to name a few, skills/classes. holo, condi mirage,condi daredevil, rampage, staff daredevil, deadeye, firebrand, signet of mercy. how thief sword works, how rev port works. stuff that can oneshot from stealth/ from range. Reward active gameplay not passive, every passive trait should get reworked and compensated for. The main problem since pof, firebrand and the healingcreep. Its superior to every other "support" class in the current meta. Either tone down skills such as the "Epilogue: Eternal Oasis" or give classes like druid, tempest and scrapper something to compete with. Tune down builds that use evade as a means to kill the enemy, example mirage. With Infinite Horizon you dont evade as a mean to avoid dmg but to kill the enemy. Same goes for daredevil. I would suggest that new amulets/a better way to stat customization could make a big diffrence to build diversity. Give each amulet more hp/toughness to lower the powercreep. Another idea would be to give higher base stats for each class. more vitality/toughness. The population. Make pvp not only rewarding to play but also make it apealing for new players. Give unique skins/mounts, minis, gliders, emotes, anything to make it feel rewarding. An example was when the ascended gear in pvp could be acuired with only ascended pvp shards. Pvp was flooded with players trying to get the ascended gear. This is just a few tought i had about pvp i general. I hope atleast some of you share my point of view on how to make pvp geat again.
  22. Better balance for sure. Warclaw demount skill. Lower hp on warclaw and fewer evades. I would also make cd formounting up after combat, maby 5-10s. Rewarding players for actully doing something. For example 5 players taking a tower should be rewarded higher then if 20 players did. Rewarding active gameplay that is. Fixing the servers. Prehaps some unique rewards such as warclaw skins/backpacks. More events such as the no downstate one, 1 every month or so.
