  2. Tested glyph of storms in air and over the 9 second duration I consistently did 10-12k dmg on light armor golem. It didn’t die. I tested on the patch of heavy golems in HotM and none of them went below 75% hp… I was full zerk/divinity. 1k dps is not denying an entire area 😂 GoEH- Very strong still isn’t OP, especially with 1s cast time. GoLE- you don’t explain how it would be OP though? On support builds each of your elemental acts as a target for your 5 target cap. You can’t support you (1) +3 elementals(4) + 3 allies(7). You can only support maximum one ally. So, again, any form of aoe damage or cleave would kill them. Most classes can do enough AoE damage to kill them faster than they could be casted. Even then, lesser elementalists do no damage. GoE- If teams can react to Lich or EoA then they can shift focus for the 2 seconds it takes to kill an ice elemental. 4 seconds accounting for the resummon. Not to mention in a teamfight if you have a golem up
  3. Im down with potential pve damage nerfs to compensate for glyph of storms change but in wvw I just do not see anyone standing in the field long enough for that to be a problem. GvG’s see constant movement, and siege is infinitely better when defending against attackers in WvW. Ignoring all of that, AoE long range damage is a niche that needs to be filled by something other than meteor shower, so I’m still not convinced it would be OP.
  4. Cant remember the last time I've seen someone be successful with something other than Glyph of Renewal in sPvP and their Glyph of Elementals being useful outside of 1v1s.
  5. Can you explain how ele would become OP from this change? What skills on other classes that make them OP compare to these? Glyph of Storms AoE large hitbox- not strong in sPvP (or WvW) unless foes AFK on node Glyph of Elemental Harmony- very strong but still no cleanses available, no new boons available, no other effects available. Glyph of Lesser Elementals- elementals... lol. Glyph of Elementals- could be OP with two ice golems but it takes a willbender perhaps .75 seconds to 1shot an ice golem and if the team recognizes there's an ice golem it would just instantly die, even with stability.
  6. Glyph of Elemental Harmony- 2 ammunition. New war heal not only heals more with each use, it grants conditional boons on second use with an option for 800 barrier on the second activation from traits. Glyph of Elemental Empowerment- 2 ammunition. I don’t think it’s necessary to even increase the cooldown on this as the conditions it provides aren’t necessarily potent and the stunbreak might be what elementalist needs to actually survive well on glass builds. Glyph of Storms- 2 ammunition. It’s currently quite weak in most forms of gameplay outside of golem benchmark gameplay. I also think the cast time should be reduced. Glyph of Lesser Elementals- 3 ammunition. I would also like to see all self inflicting traits ele has applying to the elements as well Glyph of Elementals- 2 ammunition.

People seem to be forgetting that until march 2022 Warrior has consistently been in the sPvP meta as a class tied with the highest skill cap in the game, the best duelist that can actually finish duels, best at handling +1’s. It isn’t relevant now ONLY due to power creep but spellbreaker was #1 forever. I’m not saying it won every 1v1 in terms of countering everything, but I am saying nothing countered spellbreaker 100%. Maybe holo post feb 2020 patch.

  12. Great points! I would like to add onto your idea. What if upon consuming your sphere the sphere places the hologram on you for an additional five seconds giving you 5 seconds of a specific buff, and projects either the dragon, phoenix, tortoise, or horse thing onto you and grants you access to a new skill or combination of skills based on the spheres you had present. The air sphere would give you dragon wings and alacrity, and your blast skill would be a dragon’s breath that does huge damage and applies vuln and maybe a daze. With fire you get phoenix wings and are revived the next time you’re downed (15s) and breath burning flames onto your foe for condi damage. With water sphere you get the horse’s mane and cleanse 3 conditions, and your blast would be a charge that moves you 900 range and knocks down all foes. When in earth you get your tortoise shell, 3000 barrier, and block the next 5 incoming attacks. When you have multiple spheres up you get all the effects. edit: forgot about augments. Augments stay as they are but when you blast your sphere you get an entirely different skill for your augment. Your fortified earth when you have your tortoise projection now grants you protection for each skill you block. Your shattering ice now applies slow on each enemy hit on top of other effects. Your air augment turns into a teleport (900 range). Your fire augment leeches health with each successful hit. there could also be a trait that improves the effect of blasts that shares the same column as the sphere improvement trait.

  14. The mechanic is circles. The traits are boons and stat increases… specter got barrier and an entirely new playstyle. Harbinger is now incredibly mobile and ranged with multiple powerful 0 tell skills. Willbender is an entirely new playstyle to anything guardian had before. Ranger got access to port, more barrier, lifesteal, blind, 10 brand new weapon skills, dozens of pet skills… ele got circles. Don’t mistake them for tempest circles because these circles are much much weaker. Hell, mechanist became bunker Druid! Lol! edit: forgot to mention. I’m saying the concept of catalyst mechanics, themes, and traits could have easily been thought of in less than 12 hours. Only class who LOSES the amount of sustain options by swapping to EOD spec.
  15. Idk how this is a response to anything I said but yes I agree with you that vindicator is too overpowered but disagree with the idea it needs buffs.
  16. Figuring out circles exist is not coding animals. The design is lazy and probably took less than 12 hours to create. The animals are actually worthless since spheres do mostly nothing on their own, and there is literally zero relevance or synergy with the actual animals themselves. There is no “Draconic Spirit” with the air jade sphere, the sphere doesn’t even have an animalistic name. The design is lazy. It is by far the worst designed elite spec in GW2 history. It’s the only one without an actual theme, too.
  17. Most recent tournament showed harbinger consistently lose to vindicator. Perhaps condi virtuoso wins vs it but not sure virtuoso is worth taking just to kill a more versatile bunker over and over.
  18. Unless lava font did 5k dmg per tick there is no way a staff ele would be viable in sPvP. Outside of flame retreat there is no way to avoid melee pressure especially if the enemy has stability (they all do).
  19. You might have a point. I wonder how long it took the developers of catalyst to figure out circles exist.
  20. The first mistake is thinking it’s fair to say there’s 27 specs in the meta. Most classes use the EOD specs, and out of those 9 specs there are no more than 2/50 in the top 25 who are predominately cata players.
  21. No one said anything about it being better than willbender. You just made that up. He is a self-proclaimed untamed main (and warrior) who plays all classes.
  22. All his recent streams show him predominantly on hammer/great sword untamed saying how much he loves it, it’s the best class in the game, it’s busted etc.
