Same here. All the PC screens I use regularly are set up for reading and editing text documents on a white background, so I actually found the white background more comfortable than black. But the dark mode might come in useful on my phone, which I'm more likely to be reading in poorly lit places.

Also jumping in with my genuine thanks as well since I am someone who has light blue eyes that provide superb vision but with a drawback that means I can't handle bright lights at all lol
