Metaljaw.6437 Posted September 24, 2022 Share Posted September 24, 2022 Can we please make the Black Lion Mastery Coffer either a selectable reward with a non-mastery reward or remove it all together. There are a lot of people running around with completed mastery tracks (455 Mastery Rank) and this does absolutely nothing for us. Unfortunately you (ANet) has made this a more prevalent reward and it prevents me from opening black lion chests while it is one of the guaranteed rewards. Also I think the mastery coffer was around for several months around the Lunar New Year too as they never changed it for the Lunar New Year items. It's a strange reward to me in general, though, since the mastery isn't hard to earn. Newer players are much more likely to get bottlenecked by mastery points than the "experience" bar. Probably a bit less since in most cases you'll be killing some enemies and getting additional exp. The 1g is probably worth more. It is equivalent to 0.9 spirit shard.
