To be perfectly honest I don't feel confident enough to do it. I can only really run the first few raid bosses and even them I'm to sure on the different ways people do it. The weird niche roles that require responsability always fill slowly. By the time I've finally found my HK, I could have easily filled in the dps spots via the traditional LFG and had more control over who joins. I can HK personally but don't enjoy it so if I can I avoid it and I notice personally that I'm more likely to join as a HK when that's the last thing people are looking for, just a psychological thing I guess. This game is too dynamic for generic lfg queueing. We must talk to sort out roles not only within the squad/party but within the specific fight as well. I wouldn't be surprised, if some people, who possibly transitioned from games like WoW or FF14, don't like the resemblance of pseudo-social interactions that come with our manual LFG. Or they simply can't be bothered to put in the minuscule effort to use the manual LFG. Ppl from WoW or FF14 maybe, just maybe asking about automatic lfg system that just cooperate players like a general lfg in WoW. Some says that it will not work because of gw class system specific. I search the LFG, find party, teleport to that map, click on one of the party members, because I cant see whos leader and get message: Map is Full. Yesterday was in a fishing party. Or it always was a squad with a commander and he joined via map. Sounds reasonable, I have seen this happen alot in EoD maps where people join the map event half way through fishing or leviathan. That doesnt change that strange thing, that if you create Party, youre not atomatically party leader. I guess you need commander tag unlock 😕 Other thing that would be nice, if I join Party, my place in the map is automatically reserved for me till I switch maps (or queue as many here say).
