static shock range 180 is ridic, impossible to land

Even then it can use some buffs. Making it a PBAoE stun with a shorter cast time would actually help it do this job, because then you can also use it while you are running away and you can use it more reactively as a form of defense.

The fact that you have to face your enemy to use it actually hurts it if it's supposed to be a tool to get people off your back.

This skill works fine enough in PvE. 

In PvP I never try to land this raw. The stubby range and cast time makes it too easy to avoid. It's useful as a combo extender. I normally chain it after a magnet, a netshot, or after a rifle 4 -> 5 combo. 

It could use some modernizing, but that goes for a lot of engi's kit tbh.

Best idea by far. Identical to Transmute Lightning and very functional.

To the OP saying it needs cleanse, just go Tools for a built-in cleanse.
