ELE NEEDS MORE BUFFS , DO NOT LISTEN TO THE ANTI-ELE PROPAGANA

Do not listen to this Anti- Ele Propaganda!

Many of the players are under the false impression that Ele is still over performing!

Some are even calling for heavier nerfs on the most complicated class in the game.

We need buffs, not nerfs! The reason a lot of people are still playing Ele at this moment is because it is a fun and engaging spec that really makes you work for it to get any sort of value. The real threat to PvP balance is the current ONE SHOT SCRAPPER. PLEASE NERF

A few more ideas to help the Ele class a bit more would be:

1) Make Phoenix an Instant cast skill that also tracks

2) Give us a second Phoenix Charge

3) Make Dragon tooth an Instant cast skill

4) Give us a third water trident charge to compensate for not having a second charge for an entire month.

5) Give us 5s of superspeed, 1 1/2 is just not enough with this current meta!

6) Increase the duration of Relentless Fire to 10s

Also, Cata should receive weapon swapping as an additional profession mechanic. Having to choose between Scepter and Hammer means ele has a few roles that it can't simultaneously play. This is very unfair compared to the ridiculous overperformance of 5-kit core engie, which can literally do everything.

I really feel like the game could use some more attunements. There's so many elements in nature, 4 is such an arbitrary limit. Just imagine the possibilities! Smoke attunement, so that FA cata can also stealth! Dark attunement, to give life sap on every projectile! We can even make specific attunements for OTHER CLASSES, more attunements is more fun! For example whenever opponent team has an elementalist you automatically attune to C&B torture and... no wait that's already implemented.

Do Ele's need buffs? Do Ele's need nerfs? Why not both?

Ele's can be too OP for people with a high skill level who can mash 100 keys a second and never spend more then a few seconds in 1 1 element at a time.

Ele's are too weak for players who players can't/don't want to swap between elements constantly.

Isn't the solution to buff individual skills but nerf swapping between elements?

I would suggest every weapon skill on a key shares a cooldown regardless of element.

Example: Ele with Scepter in Fire presses 3 and casts Phoenix, cooldown is 10 seconds.

Swapping to Earth, Dust Devil is on cooldown for those same 10 seconds.

Ele, casts Dust Devil with 15 second cooldown.

Swaps back to fire.

Ele has to wait 15 seconds until they can cast Phoenix again.

Then power up each skill to account for the time spent on cooldown. Low cooldown spells would get a lower buff because they don't slow down other attacks as much.

Just scpter/core ele buffs then? Even the joke post cant separate the ele classes from its core wepon sets and skill ppl realty cant hold 2 ideals in there heads at the same time.

Most ppl want staff buffs or even dagger buffs at this point. I would love to see WH buffs for tempest its in such an odd place where it seems to be an more dps aimed wepon then support.
