Why are there so MANY CRASHES AND DISCONNECTS in PVP?

They may happen over all the game, but they happen regularly in PvP.....so very ODD.

It's just someone throwing around a simple drop hack.

Go GOOGLE "what is a drop hack" and keep in mind the recent get hit out of stealth bug caused game crash issue. Bugs like that are how simple drop hacks are created.

Had an AT match a couple days ago where me and another friend got dropped 4 times in a game.... was stupid annoying. We both had to log on vpn's which I'm not even sure helped because the damage was already done.

If these drop hacks work buy pushing threw high amounts of data, why can't the server realize the spike in data and punish the source of it. Why does the game punish the receiver of the packets by disconnect. I feel the data should never make it threw the server to your PC. Am I wrong I thinking that?

The source of the data is distributed, it comes from many different IPs. And you can't tell who in the match initiated it. If this truly exists this is very scary. Its hard to do so only a few dedicated and very well connected people will be able to do it. If anyone can do this it would be used for much more nefarious and lucrative things than winning a gw2 tournament. lol.
