Gorani.7205 Posted October 2, 2023 Share Posted October 2, 2023 (edited) A word of warning to those wanting to craft Obsidian Armour at one point: Map completion of Skywatch Archipelago gives you https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gift_of_Skywatch_Archipelago That one is an item and also unlocks something in https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/A_Legendary_Path:_Astral_Gifts The item is just labled Account Bound, the achievement is unlocked, it looks like it has no further use... BUT DO NOT THROW IT WAY Apparently you need it as a crafting material for https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gift_of_the_Astral_Ward which again is part of https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gift_of_Stormy_Skies You will be able to get another Gift of Skywatch Archipelago by completing the Lamps for https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Illuminating_Skywatch_Archipelago but that will take time and you might throw away a resource you need. The map completion does not require you to play through the story. Just use the Wizard's Tower Teleportation Scroll and do the maps in a decent amount of time. I have 4 of each gifts just by not bothering to swap characters when I went back to do the metas. Other than two PoIs in Amnytas map completion is very quick.
