notebene.3190
Recently my launcher seems to be forgetting my login name, even though I have the 'remember' checked. It's not consistent. Sometimes it's blank, sometimes not. I seem to recall there was maybe a trick to fixing that, but I can't remember what it is.
Inculpatus cedo.9234
When last this occurred (missing Account Name and/or password) the only 'tricks' were to type the missing data in, or re-launch the launcher (maybe multiple times). 🤷♀️
GODh.3892
This happens to me multiple times per week... It's a bug, but it seems it has very low priority (if any at all) for Anet. So i always "fix" it by restarting the launcher.
Teknomancer.4895
Try the -repair command line argument, maybe?

Try deleting it, then re-enter the login information.

There are also a lot of settings saved in Local.dat, which you have redo when you delete that file. Restarting the launcher almost always fixes the problem (it's very rare that i have to do it more than once). That means there was nothing wrong with the local.dat. Toraseishin.1932
Relaunching the launcher usually fixes it for me. But it only used to happen once in a blue moon. Now I'm noticing it happen quite often recently - multiple times a week, sometimes 2+ times within the same day. So there's definitely something off...
