kash.9213
That entire section is one of the worst spots for pathing. There're a few spots to land something on, mostly cement, but you're likely to not have the camera angle in the moment especially if you're running from a rushing blob out of that hallway. You'll probably get the same error on the ground at a lot of destroyed wall sections, but I'm getting better at guessing where the threshold is at those wall openings. But of course, we can still get pulled down off of there all way across that stuff that doesn't let us path.

Dean Calaway.9718
It's the wood planks, anything protruding from the terrain messes you up, even small rocks in an open fields , it's been like that since release and they haven't come up with a fix, most likely never will at this point. Geoff Fey.1035
Teleport mechanics basically removes you from point A and replaces you at point B. Typically these are movement-focused with minor secondary effects (attack, support, condi cleanse, etc.). The list of Teleport skills is very small. Shadowstep mechanics needs unbroken pathing from point A to point B. Typically these are attacks, effects, or have additional effects. The distinction is likely to restrict high-value skills, but at this point Teleport should be rolled into Shadowstep.
Asur.9178
It's a feature since betas. Once you play for over a decade, you start to memorize a lot of the places because you die due to "player skill issue" in said places. It's kinda like using Shortbow 5 for 8 initiative and then not even moving an inch and dying or attempting to use F1 on a target on specific locations or specific targets (Octovine and Nourys: yay, new bug free content...not!!!) - "player skill issue". Don't worry; 1 of 3 things happen eventually. You either stop bothering to give feedback and just treat it like yet another day since the balance and skills team doesn't care enough about thief; you start playing a better class which gets a lot more attention and love; or you quit the game and move on.
