Why is the login music gone ?

I don't hear any music at all when I log in nowadays.Where has this awesome piece of art gone ?

I hear music when I'm at the character select screen. It doesn't play the original GW2 theme anymore, though. The music changes based on the current background theme. We had the original one for the base game, a second one for HoT, and the current one for PoF. The HoT and PoF ones both start off a lot more quietly than the original theme does, so maybe you're just not noticing it because it's quieter.

Yeah the one you posted went with HoT which then went with PoF, which will no doubt be gone with expac 3. It's fairly typical for a lot of MMO's to refresh the score and art on the login screen on an expac.

Anyone has a link to the pre-HoT music? I barely remember it anymore, having joined only shortly before HoT.

I use a custom playlist for my character select screen (and other things) and still have the SAB character select music. maybe try doing it yourself, OP if you want the original back.https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Customized_soundtrack

I loved the HoT login music. I wish there were options in settings or on the login screen to set it.
