The reward should be the satisfaction of having done it. haha I jest. With mesmer portaling, I don't really see this as such an achievement, tbh. Heck, I didn't even get a title for killing 1000 giants, and that was before PoF added ones that were easier to slay. :(

easy fix by making the checkpoints part of the achievementThose can also be mesmer portaled sureBut raiding achievement can also be done without doing anything (friends/raid sellers) and the reward is ascended gearMesmer portal is easier off course and faster but both achievements can be done without doing anythingAt least it gives the players motivation to visit each jumping puzzle that exist in central tyriaAnd if the player really likes the puzzle they can always decide to do it without any help

I'm talking about 1 ascended gear piece not a free legendary :PAnd doing EVERY jumping puzzle in Central Tyria isn't a easy task either ^^

how about an ascended backpack that doubles as a parachute. so even if gliding is disabled if you do the puzzle again and fail you can drift to the ground instead of going splat.

After doing all of the jumping puzzles I would have settled for headache medicine and throat lozenge after raging my way through them. Was never lucky enough to have a mesmer friend to help me.

Don't jumping puzzle chests already have a chance to drop ascended items? Anet could just increase the chance of getting one, rather than adding a whole new system.

Yes, I've gotten an ascended box from a JP in the past.

Every JP gives a reward, plus you get AP. I'd say that's enough.
