Absolutely agreed. There’s no reason for them to have ignored this issue (and so many other Rev issues) for so long. I’ve personally bug reported it at least 200+ times at this point (only once a day at most) over the past year. It’s insulting to the rev playerbase and to those of us that paid huge money for the absolute disaster that is build templates. I shouldn’t be forced to do extra work to enjoy the game as a Revenant simply because the code is bad

@"ArenaNet Team.4819"As much as I dislike bumping threads and trying to draw the attention of devs to topics they are already aware of, it also irks me that this issue persists.

Please note, I am sure that you are aware of this, Build Templates were introduced to the game in October 2019, more than 14 months before this post you are reading (if you are). Since their release I am sure there have been various kinks that were ironed out, however at the moment the Revenant profession seems to be the only one still being affected by the skill load-out resetting when changing templates. It's probably too far to say that the template function is useless because of this, however it does make it more annoying to use, especially if you have to remember that "this one class has these particular issues".

I would very much like to see a fix for this soon and I hope that Anet consider that since the build template slots are an additional item being sold for gems, it should really function as intended across the board, not just for 8/9 classes.

Bug which swaps RS and PT
: haha yes but actually no.

Instead of me having to re-learn WHY CAN'T THE PROGRAMMERS LEARN TO CODE? I did PAY money to get a feature WHICH ISN'T BEING GIVEN to me.

And is not only me: I could swear that THE OTHER FOUR PLAYERS jailed in a match with a player which can't play his character AREN'T AMUSED about playing 4 vs 5. They also PAID for the game and do expect the game to work NORMALLY.

I agree with this sentiment ... assigning hotbar keys and the game remembering those assignments is available for ALL the other classes. There should be no reason for this exception.

If you look at the build window when you switch build, you can see the correct skill order appear. But then the game goes "LOL, joking" and rearrange your load-out.

Oh yeah I know ... I agree this should be fixed. I'm pretty sure if other people's hot bars were re arranged when they did something, they wouldn't like it either.

I've noticed there seems to be a correlation between what skills you've swapped and what gets reset when you change builds. Like if you swap utility 1 and utility 3 on one build, then switch to another build, it will swap 1 and 3 on whatever legend that build is defaulted on.

It's pretty embarrassing this still happens. It's been years and it's a huge quality of life problem for revenant. I'd feel ashamed if I was one of GW2's engineers and such a severe bug was just being blatantly ignored for years on end. How many times does this issue have to get posted before it actually gets moved to a high priority?
