Crashing when applying new Maguuma Treads

Yep, same problem.Interestingly enough, the crash happened while trying to Transmute the Treads on my Thief (who already had the Shoulders and Gloves of the same set).However, on a Guardian of mine (also with the Maguuma Shoulders and Gloves equipped) I was able to apply and Transmute the Treads just fine.

I'd imagine that players being locked out of certain characters, and some outright locked out of the game, and having that MASSIVE hole in the gem store is plenty incentive for them to fix it as soon as possible. I imagine the managers have been cracking the whip to get it fixed so they can continue making money.

last contact with suport : "Wednesday at 13:37"they wrote to me about diagnostics, I sent them everything + payment receipt on a given dayI know exactly what item caused the failure - moments after it was removed from the shop but this topic does not closeno contact, no responseI do not understand how such a large and respected company can behave in this wayit would be better to enter the information "we're working on it" everyone could breathe a sigh of reliefI will add the fact that the accounts are not worthless - real money has been paid (very large amount)as so, it will be possible to refer to the paragraph

suggestions for support-remove skin that was introduced on 21/04/2020 from all forms = diamond return-inform everyone about the situation = do not sweep the subject under the rug-fix it once, get it right = inform about the work

This is a live, ongoing issue where loyal and paying supporters of the game are affected - many are unable to log in to play the game at all.

This is the official GW2 forums, not Twitter. This is where players have correctly reported the bug, which is the entire purpose of this forum category. Not everybody uses Twitter. Expecting acknowledgement through this official channel is completely fair, and an official update here should have been prioritised before a Twitter post, let alone being completely disregarded.

So far there's no acknowledgement through their own official forum, no details on the progress of resolving the issue, and no apology to any of the affected players. This is a failure.

It wouldn't have taken more than 5 minutes to put together a quick response in this thread when the Twitter post went up, with the basic courtesy of thanking the community for reporting the issue and apologising for any inconvenience caused. Compensation for all affected should be considered.

Well anet seem to always do this since anyone can post on twitter, but here on the forum we used to have Gaile Gray and others stayed away.It got a little bit better recently but still they seem to avoid their own forum in favor of twitter and reddit as always.

Imagine not testing paid skins with other pieces of the same set, having it cause crashes at character select preventing people from playing your game, saying you removed the item from the gemstore on a different platform 7 hrs later making no attempts to bring that attention to the threads on reddit/forums that first reported the bug, staying silent on all platforms for 3 days, support not responding to tickets submitted about the crashes, pushing an irrelevant patch that helped maybe 1 player correctly choose a glider skin. PEOPLE CAN'T LOG IN TO YOUR GAME AND YOU'VE DONE AND SAID NOTHING FOR 3 DAYS. How is that not failure? Expecting a forum infraction for this comment btw

Tried a few combos, and it seems to happen only on my Asura or Sylvari characters. When I tested this on Human, Norn, or Charr didn't seem to crash. Anyone else have issues on those 3 that I didn't? Trying to help speed this along as I seriously would like my character back that's locked out due to the crashes.
