I get some of these EoD complaints, but...

so sad to read such incomprehensible stuff

raids that allow you to face bosses with innovative mechanics, that allow you to coordinate (play WITH the others players and not beside them ), to adapt your build, to think, to feel adrenaline ... and spamming F is better for you, with that we are not ready to see the game evolve..

I guess you must be a fan of dragon storm  where we spam 1 for 20 min on hp sponges

And besides I did not even speak only of raids, I also spoke about fractals and elite missions of gw1 (which is another format)

I dont feel any of that from the content in this game, and ye i do raids sometimes. Raids are for the most part the same thing. Do rotation, dont stand in orange/green circles, do mechanics when they pop up. My builds dont get adapated for raids, i copy em from sites and use them, maybe swapping skills here and there as needed for a boss, but they sure arent varied.

My open world builds when im just playing for fun have more variety than raid builds because im not locked into skills that do the best all the time, i can actually have fun and use skills i enjoy using.

I see lots of folks pooping on Dragonstorm, and out of the runs ive done lately i see very few, if any AFK players, i also see very few, if any players spamming 1. I do see lots of players dodging, using skills when they recharge, and using CC on breakbars. I think ive only seen 1 breakbar fail, and that was bad timing on everyone's part(Jormag breathed right as Ryland did his elite skill, the breath downed a bunch and Ryland got his elite off downing the rest.)

I have to live in another dimension if you find dragon storm more busy and fun than raids

we must not play the same game ,dragon storm is one of the most boring content I've done in the entire guild wars franchise (including gw1)

Raids ask you to concentrate, to give the best of yourself, to improve yourself if you do not have the level, to play with people and not next to them.

this is the only place in the game with fractals where you can feel that (apart from the HOT maps when the expansion is released) the rest of the game is done while drinking coffee

Seems so, because in the dimension i live in it's completely normal for different people to like different things and that does not cause any surprises. That dimension of yours where the mere idea that someone might not like something you do is incomprehensible seems terribly boring to me.

You sure do so seem to be in another dimension.

You are right, and i enjoy drinking my coffee while playing. Wait. I do that while doing raids and fractals too. Dragonstorm isnt the best content ever, it also isnt the worst, but more improtantly, i can use what ever skills i want there and have fun doing them, because while my skills arent the "Meta" or the "Best" ones, my armor/weapons/accessories sure are, and i still do my fair share.

And, as Astralporing said, not everyone needs to share your opinion that only challenging content is worthwhile or fun. i dont think so and im glad that isnt the case for the majority of content in this game, despite me doing said challenging content.

If raids werent on a strict DPS timer like they are, alot more players would do them, i dont think thats a bad thing given how few players do them now, but thats my opinion, as yours is yours.

I hv already paid ultimate version last night. So.. for all of  you who support the game and care for the future of the game and if u can afford if ofc .. pls get the ultimate version.  not the $30.. $30 is not enough to cover for the work for the game

Anet is not a charity that needs our support but a business/company that sells a product/service. The price is Anets decision and as long as they do not share their internal, confident calculations, we can not see if a price is (not) enough to cover the costs.

I pre-purchased also, but not because I want to support Anet. I pre-purchased because I think what I will get is acceptable/good for the price I paid.

Game has never been marketed as a themepark MMO. It's never been this is going to be a linear game. It's a game for explorers to do what you want, and still remains that to this day.  Obviously new zones have plenty to explore in them. There are scavenger hunts and things to discover. But at the end of the day, from day one, Anet advertisted "a living breathing world" which really has nothing to do with a theme park. If you like this thing you do this and if you like that thing you do that. That's how I've always played this game.

Do you even know what a themepark vs sandbox mmo is?

Because your examples are characteristics of themepark games.

I do actually. And Guild Wars 2 is more a sand box in the idea that I have a lot of stuff I can do, but I don't really have to do any of it. Most of the time in this game, I'm picking and choosing my own goals.  Guild Wars 2 is a themepark MMO, but it's more sandboxy than most MMOs. Thanks for asking though.

WvW is very sandboxy too, because there's emergent gameplay. The fact that Anet is providing the "rides" instead of the community is only true for some people. I provide a lot of my own rides. I make a lot of my own content. Like escorting low level players from Queensdale to Orr and trying to keep them alive.

Thanks for asking though.
