pvp still terrible

even after the balance patch theres still 4 necros at least in every game. like legit in every single game. also mesmer are still aids to fight since confusion hasnt been changed at all and u can just burst 20 stacks confusion anytime. firebrands are unkillable and heal like 2 druids combined But they also have perma stab aegis and can cleanse 10 times as many condis . Instead of dealing with those things u ruined core war.. lol what is ur balancet team thinking

Last patch was loosely targeted at all damage conditions except confusions then pretty much neglected every other issue. Scourge did get weaker, but so did every other trash tier condi build. Felt like targeting conditions as a whole was not the solution. I would have rather seen a focus on reducing the strengths of mirage (stunbreak + condi cleanse on dodge LMAO), firebrand, and scourge.

The game is just bad. too many skillless people who run cancer builds thinking they win because they "learned how to play" and its just other peoples fault for not being able to counter a unblockable aoe attack that hits more than rangers longbow burst... Meanwhile they press one button and down people in a second with no recourse.Anet is unwilling to just make those builds completely useless so that normal pvp interaction can have place with some back and forth because those children would cry and hate arenanet forever for taking away their "i win" button.So its gonna be like this, us normal people who knowingly stay away from cheese builds that are just unfair will be just fed into the shredder of cancer builds forever because Anet has no balls to fix the pvp or has completely lost track of whats a pvp GAMEPLAY INTERACTION about.

PS: anyone explain to me why signet of stone should block incoming damage, doesnt block any incoming damage least the weakest autoatacks? Yea.. learn to play my ass... How about give me some spells that work as described.PS2: Yes believe it or not i DONT want to play a scourge one button wonder build. I WANT to have competition in my game, not fake one but real one. And im not willing to delude myself that pressing one button to win is a skill.

If this was the mechanic, condis would have to be scaled up massively so be vaguely viable. Imagine running as the only condi player on a team of 5 - even if you manage to apply burn, poison. bleed, torment and confusion to a target - it would barely tickle them at 1 stack. Duration would make little difference since there are so many condi-clear/transfer skills currently accessible.

They need to get rid of ranks. Combine Ranked and Unranked. Make pips nice and juicy. Let us have fun. Let us ignore the Meta and play memes. Make better daily achievements to encourage build diversity and fun.

If they aren't going to support competitiveness then at least support fun!

PvP ranked really is trash right now, 1 dragonhunter sat on the point in mid, for coliseum and 3 people refused to step on it even after I removed the traps...and as i said before this is in ranked...placing a target over it doesn't help cause no one focused(and I told them to focus in chat too)

The terrible thing is also the amount of dmg mitigation things like evade, block, blur, blind, stealth, Invulnerability wich can be combined and make some classes untouchable for an absurd amount of time .... combined also with traits that make ppl tanky as hell with so much selfheal like spellbreaker... all in one pvp is a frustrating thing if you dont play OP elite specialisations like mirage spellbreaker or firebrandwish you gl and hf im off soon playing other mmos

But not at the same time. Chrono and Mirage can check off those but not all.

But not at the same time. Chrono and Mirage can check off those but not all.
