WvW Mounts

This will never happen; it completely obliterates the use of the mount. Players will just have to learn to deal with it. Either jump on a ranger, or spec in conditions. Worse case scenario, if you really want to gank the player that bad, follow them to wherever they're going, and when they dismount, kill them.

So what your saying is don't play classes and specs i like, just swap over to something with condition damage. They are either going for their zerg or waiting for an outnumbered fight.

Mounts are terrible because it's awful stomp feature and the fact people can freely run away from any fight without being caught.

The only solution I have (in small scale only) is play pew pew or fire weaver and signet of fire the monkeys and watch them dismount in a few seconds

Pretty much this.The ammount of players roaming pre-mount was 2-3 times what we have now.It killed build diversity and roaming, also ganking is much worse.

Same here, only i have been using condi scrapper/ranger. Kinda getting boring not being able to play other classes

How so? The mount would slow down if you manage to hit it. If people want to go around me and keep out of my melee range I could always use the already in place dismount skill to put them in combat. And if what i suggested was to be put in, they would be slow enough to be hit after i dismount tag them. Sure they can use those 3 evades to make a gap, at least it would be viable for me to play the classes i want again.

The problem with a dismount skill is that a mount is actually required, and not everyone has a mount so anet needs to consider no more cc immunity and less hp and dodges as well for people without mounts to deal with them. A player using skills and cooldowns just to dismount someone should also affect the enemies hp in some way.

Every one has worked for the mount and It doesn't take 2 long to get. But on the other hand I wouldn't mind if they just handed them out to new players. As far as the cc/less hp/less dodges thing. I don't think that would work because the mount should still have a chance at getting away, and not become completely useless. But they should be slowed to a normal persons combat speed so i have a chance to take them out.

Oh now i understand what you want and i think thats not possible because how they coded mounts.In Ben's post he said that MAYBE they would implement a break bar so Warclaw could be affected by CC and this would be already too much work.To make it vulnerable to CC they would have to change the base mount code and this will not happen, sadly.

I want a normal warclaw speed with all of its evades and hp. The only thing i want changed is how fast the warclaw moves while in combat. As far as code goes i have no idea if they can just simply turn down the speed in combat.

Ya, you are right about that. People who don't have pof wouldn't be able to use a mount as a combat tag. But I wouldn't say you are completely sol, the slower movement speed if you manage to land a hit would put them at your speed. Giving you way better odds of a dismount if compared to how it is now.
