  1. They nerfed stealth on thief but no other class. They nerfed super speed on deadeye but no other class. Why ANet? When GW2 was published in 2012, the assassin/rogue/thief/ stealthed single target killer, was the quintessential. You didn't take very long to "correct" the axe when it was first introduced, you've never "corrected" rangers shooting over walls with barrage or clones coming through gates. Must be a lot of people losing sleep just trying to come up with yet another nerf to the thief. So either embrace the class and stop the continual nerfs or get rid of the class.

    Thief traps

With the introduction of relics, the stealth and super speed of the trapper runes are no more. Can thief get rid of those annoying, asinine preparation skills and get our traps back? The trapper runes is the reason why thief lost traps.
  3. warrior. Awesome isn't it? A heal, two leaps, a pull and of course a block projectiles. Just imagine that on a thief......
  4. If you look at the history, they also decreased the blind. Besides, why would you think ANet would actually buff the thief? It's their mission to completely destroy it. November 28, 2023 This skill now reflects projectiles and strikes foes in a circular area instead of in a frontal cone. Increased the total power coefficient from 0.6 to 1.8 in PvE only. February 25, 2020 Competitive content update: (Competitive split) Increased vulnerability stacks from 5 to 8. April 19, 2016 This skill now applies 5 stacks of vulnerability per hit. Fixed a bug that caused this skill to strike more than once. Fixed a bug that caused this skill to blind for only 3 seconds instead of the full 5 seconds. October 23, 2015 Heart of Thorns release: Dust Strike has been added to the game.
  5. You obviously haven't read the fine print. It says ANet will action after they check the chat log. So unless the toon is cursing and swearing every time it hits it's head on the wall, they aren't going to do anything.
  6. Basically dedicated to stealth? Shadow Arts was destroyed by ANet with the infamous words from Josh Davis: stealth is a source of frustration in pvp and wvw. But this ok and this is encouraged and this needs more buffs I also noticed that when mesmer is stealthed they can keep on using skills without any cool downs when they miss unlike thief that misses the backstab, has to wait 1 sec for "recharge". Not to mention that a thief needs to use initiative to maintain any extended stealth. Which is forever being increased. So yea totally fair and unbias because stealth and power on a thief is totally the only sources of frustration.
  7. In ANet's defense, no where did they say when it was going to get done nor has anybody ever accused ANet of being able to balance anything.
  8. Funny how thief is the only class being blamed for dodge and port spams. What about Not a thief so, all good?
  9. This is what I read when reading the front page for thief; ThiefExperts at stealth and surprise being nerfed, thieves move meander through the shadows, vanish into thin air map out, or steal unusable items from their opponents and use them as weapons. Thieves practice an agile, acrobatic a nerfed fighting style, which makes them very hard to hit easy to kill. We can nerf the profession more if you find they are still too hard to easily kill. InitiativeTo power their attacks, thieves rely on a resource called initiative, which regenerates slowly over time. Weapon skills cost initiative points, but they have no recharge time, so thieves can use them back-to-back once due to ever increased initiative cost. This allows thieves to stay flexible close by and unresponsive in combat and to unleash a rapid flurry of powerful attacks an attack. StealThieves use the Steal skill to take weapons from their opponents. They can gather blinding feathers from moa birds or swipe broken bottles and rusty weapons from bandits and pirates but nothing of any use from players. Stealth SkillsThieves can enter stealth mode, which renders them invisible to enemies susceptible to player's reveal skills, target painter or target painter traps and replaces their first weapon skill with a stealth attack skill. They use these skills to stab foes in the back reveal themselves, get off to receive a surprise shot, and more. Shadow StepWith Shadow step, thieves can teleport into out of battle for a surprise attack and then use Shadow Return to escape to their previous position in hopes of surviving.
  10. ...Quick comment, these release notes are not complete and in particular thief has more changes that we weren’t able to get localized for this early posting...After a quick google translate...Quick comment, these release notes are not complete and in particular thief has more changes that we weren’t able to get localized for this early posting so grab dem ass cheeks and stock up on the KY...
  11. So, anet, explain why a warrior can do 12 - 25k kill shots and a deadeye can't?
  12. So now I'm being forced to use these when I switch between wvw and pve? Why?
  13. You have the wrong class. It's heralds with sigils of leeching and hydromancy on equiped weapon, running strength runes with facet of darkness and strength on.
