  1. Its a cube with low height basically which triggers when u fire off weapon. This ability aint the only one suffering from those issues. Eartshaker from warrior f1 comes to mind. What they need to do is increase height value which is Y on the skill but its bandaid fix as it might hit unintended targets as well so ideally they should code hitbox rotating based on elevation and thats a bit of work to calculate it so i dont see it happening considering all other bugs that are present and quick to fix. CoR also lost the purpose of hitting the target the further they are so scrapping the entire skill and replacing it with something else is the best they can do. But really 2, 3, 5 are up there for a rework anyway. CoR is just special case cuz theres no middle ground for it in WvW, it either will hit like wet noodle or be straight up busted like in the past cuz projectile deflection has no effect on it though honestly i wouldnt mind if they made it like banish from Mallyx
  2. I dont think it has anything to do with a code as much as it does with Y value on hitbox. Currently its set for a flat terrain topdown like game which is why small elevations screw it over
  3. I mean rev was getting kitten on since release. Even ignoring this meme weapon, rev has least of utility skills to choose from in core than other classes - so either number of skills should go up by 1 on legends or a new legend should have been made. This class is a experimental failed design as whole cuz rev was not supposed to have weapon swap - legend system was meant to make up for it and how it turned out old players knows. Only masochist could still enjoy playing rev, or casual pve players that dont really care. Rev is not even what it used to be anymore with all those cooldowns on utility skills. Can you see them on thief weapon skills? I dont. Rev need fundamental overhaul in how it function as whole, scrap it entire design and start over cuz boy its not going to get better ever and anything new added here complicates stuff more so in the process

  5. Maybe a bit offtopic but how hard cc are engaging again? Nothing feels as engaging as staring at screen cuz you unable to do anything indeed More often than not i actually see people complain about cc if anything (not related to this game but as whole) That said i would not remove cc from gw2 cuz it is built on a old archaic combat system which fit those things.
  6. Technically but in reality its just used for defiance bars in pve and in pvp as selfish tool for block and condi clear. The 2 is useless af. Excuse me but the datamined staff long ago was so much better its not even worth comparing. From perspective of time i believe all weapons had much better synergy as whole anyway between themself and legends.   9. Like i mentioned long ago, matter of time where everything will have cd and ofc energy cost cuz why not? Weapon skills - lower cds than other classes but added energy cost as tradeoff. What it is today? Exactly.. Utilities - free of cd supposed to be manageable by energy resource by players. Nop. Manage energy and cd now boi I honestly have no idea how any of u can still play rev. Dead concept. Clean as day they are clueless what to do with rev so why not rework energy mechanic?

  11. You do realize the same was said about mounts literally 1:1? Take your advice and feel free to search for the old mount topics. The current instances you talk about are nowhere near what features housing is. Hideouts in POE are highly popular and they even run contest for "build of the month" House system can impact gameplay as well by various buffs along many things but then those who dont like the house system will moan about being forced into it In theory we do already have personal instanced which act as "home". What is needed is a way to actually allow players to customize it
  12. This whole debate reminds me of same stuff that happened in the past with mounts. No we do not want mounts, game is not designed for that, we have waypoints! Mounts were introduced anyway.. turned out to be one of the most popular feature despite the forum minority being against them. And most likely they use them these days anyway which is ironic. If you find housing boring/unnecesary thats cool, but why you wanna push your agenta on others and restrict their gameplay options? Don't like it, don't do it. Simple as

And if they havent even met him before how there can be revenant with some different legend stuff? In fact how they are even aware? See what kind of big plothole it is?   15. Shiro also has gap closer and mid range aoe stun which youll never use for.. many reasons but energy being number 1 Mallyx kit is melee oriented apart from one utility. Ventari is a healer. Glint is elite spec. So is Kalla and legendary cantha joke Legend focused on keeping opponent away/gap opening, cc and dealing damage at range is needed
  16. Bruh.. lack of second ranged weapon is only a part of a problem. All legend skills are pretty much melee oriented resulting in lack of synergy whatsoever. A legend focused on ranged combat is needed as well to make stuff flow a bit better.
  17. How he played is irrevelant. For all i care he could stand still like a bot or do a /sit or /dance. Id totally would love to give him kitten for the way he played while claiming to be good but it doesnt matter. What it showcases is wonky hitbox that need to be fixed, and while were at it mallyx f2 need to be fixed too cuz it ignores evade frames completely.
  18. Like i said the problem comes with design itself which aims at pve. All skills they design are mechanically made with pve in mind and this create many issues with pvp. To fix it devs would need to switch and design around pvp instead and then fine tune numbers for pve bc it doesnt really matter how the skill works as long it pump out needed dps. Its really hard to make something work in both modes at once without it creating issues which i learned the hard way as rookie dev. I believe devs made choice and focused on pve players where majority of money comes from. And its time remaining pvp players do the same and either accept pvp being a mess forever, relax a bit and just enjoy the combat regardless of it balancing problems or move on to pvp focused game. Theres no point in being frustrated over a game
  19. All things considered it doesnt really matter. Devs balance at pve level and they fail even there to do so. They would have to make basically new classes targeted specifically at pvp or a complete new game in fact focused on pvp instead. PvP in mmos just doesnt work unless they were targeted specifically with that purpose and pve acts more of a side role - like albion online (which im not fan of anyway).
  20. Lol at which part? HoT introduced braindead spam. I guess many forgot the unkillable braindead bunker chrono from s1. Druid was kitten to fight against as well and some parts of it still remain like that low cd "entangle" trait on cc. Scrapper was another hurr durr nearly unkillable with ridiculous damage output. For the first time ever thief was erased off meta and who captured circles first in general has won the game cuz nobody was dying. You can check it being true even in "pro" games from that time
  21. Core game was the hardest and where skill mattered the most except 2-3 braindead builds like hambow, d/d ele. From there onwards it became more and more braindead as time goes on. In current state of game you dont even have to watch screen. Game is easier with rolling face on keyboard and autoaim option
  22. New steam player opens up gw2 for first time. Makes rev, uses mace 2 (mace is starter wep for rev) - sees weird animation and wonders wtf is this kitten? And thats just a beginning of his journey with all the bugs weird hitboxes etc. Pvp playerbase is not needed at all and steam users can be brutal unlike fanboys gathered here/reddit
