Here's how I see ALL of these boosts and unlocks..... 1. Does it impact on MY enjoyment of the game? 2. Does it affect how I play the game? 3. Does it bother me that there's a quick way to get to the "end game"? The answer to all of these is NO! I enjoy the game. I play it to get away from RL struggles. It's an escape. If, for you, it has a negative impact then, I'd suggest, you stop playing and go find something more fulfilling and enjoyable to improve your life.

Play the game, completely learn your profession, gear up as you go along and then do all of the high-end endgame content. You'll get everything you need or want. As to the last sentence....how do you know you "really like" if you aren't up to the standard to try it? You only NEED ascended/legendary armour for fractals because of AR in the higher levels.

The first real "horror" appeared when HoT arrived and your *kitten* "anything will do" build & loadout didn't seem to work as intended. 🤣 That was tamed down rather quickly....but you still have to know what you're doing, the first time, when you get there. But, according to the forums/reddit, the real horror appears every time ANet release their balance patch notes!

I read this to mean - Nothing will ever change with the way this system works.....BUT.....we may offer a gemstore item that will give bonuses, say +10% AA received, for a week/month/season. Should that be the case then it'd be a high priced item (2k gems for a season).

Again, you haven't PAID for anything other than access to an online game. Again, it's NOT exclusive. If anything I'd like the legendary armour and weapons to be available to new characters on an account. They'd be scaled down to the max level for that character's level but as you level they also gain in stats. I think they did it a couple of years ago were you were given a "starter" weapon that levelled with you.......I may be wrong.......old age and all that.

Did you buy a Tesla and then have them drop the price by THOUSANDS? They didn't get reimbursed. And that was something that had value and worth. Your items have absolutely NO value what so ever. They are pixels on a screen in a game. You don't have anything that is "exclusive" because these pixelated artwork can be earned by anyone who plays the game. The only things I would say are "rarer" than others are the Gen 2 legendary weapons because you can't buy them from the TP. If the game shutdown tomorrow then where would your "value" be then? Think about it this way.......a new player could spend a LOT of money on gems and then convert it to gold. Then they could buy all the legendary weapons from the TP before PAYING for someone to run them through all of the raids until they got their legendary armour. From the way you're ranting they've just invalidated your achievements with £/$/Euros. Things aren't going to change and, for you, they're going to get worse......because they're going to be doing this again in the next "season"!!

I started in October 2005 and have pre-ordered everything since then. So I consider myself a "vet". I've had 11 years in GW2 and, for the most, enjoyed playing the game. I got LW season 1 to play FULLY. I did the original skyscale when everything was time gated to keep me playing between LW episodes. I've got a great guild that got together at the first beta after being in an alliance together in GW1. New players haven't had that. Therefore I don't see that, as a "Vet", that I need any compensation. So what if it's easier to get the skyscale or legendaries....we've had the game!

Maybe, it is more of a case of, you can only "earn" 1300 per *insert nominal time period here* but it's still just a wallet currency. Can't see them wiping everything out each reset. In the real world this could equate to your salary and bank balance. The bank doesn't steal your, unspent, savings each year.

Sorry, I thought there was a trait for each elite specialization......oh wait.....there is! And this trait gives you access to that elite weapon.....so they can play about with that and detune the weapon skill when not traited into that elite spec. Which is what I thought I said earlier......erm, detune if not specced....yup, I did!

More likely a "detune" of the weapon if you don't have the specific trait linked. So the in-house testers knew about the Catalyst "piano playing" damage numbers and still released it? Unlikely. Think of ANet as the ACME Paperclip Company and the high-level players are Macgyver! We all have the same tools, to play the game, but some people see a way to use those tools in ways the developers couldn't see if you gave them a big torch, map and a magnifying glass!

Gaming is LITERALLY a waste of time.....unless your an ultimate, top-tier esports player and therefore earn money from ir. I understand that gaming has some psychological benefits but it's still a gap filler. I got my skyscale at release.....without all the "Return to...." currencies being thrown at me.....it was a grind but it was a time filler between LW episodes. It was something to do in GW2, which means, something to waste time doing. What would you have been doing if you hadn't done this specific content? Wasted time in another portion of the game or wasted time on another game or watched YT videos or......... It's all down to wasting time......like reading forums about the same *KITTEN* *KITTEN* and then answering posts when my manager is breathing down my neck asking why this report isn't completed.........Ooop! 😯😯 Anyway, can I have your stuffs?

When the original Skyscale was released, I believe that, it was a time filler. It was at a time when LW was released every 3 months. It gave us something to do while waiting. There were daily cooldowns on items, which they detuned to 2 hours, but it was something to do. I didn't mind the cooldown detune because I was enjoying the game. The same happened with the beetle. I have no issues with an easier way to get it for the expansion. I wouldn't care if they got all the original unlocks either. I've had years of use out of both LW mounts and have enjoyed my time with them. Now, to give an opposing view for balance...... I've been in the Guild Wars franchise for 18 years, in October, so I believe ANet owe me the 3 weights of legendary armour and tokens for the Mystic Toilet to give me legendary weapons for dumping white grade items into it. If everyone's getting an instant skyscale then I want instant gratification for everything else!

Because they need to keep the lights on and ensure that employees have a roof over their head and food on the table. If you don't think it's worth it then don't buy it! I've had thousands of hours, on both GW and GW2, of play. I've preordered everything and spent very little on gems so £22 for, probably, hundreds of hours is worth it. In UK terms £22 is about 5 pints of beer or 2 tickets, and snacks, at the cinema.....or 2 packets of cigarettes.

Real world people, players, come in different shapes and sizes whilst some have a disability. Peg-legs and hooks are all well and good but they don't cater, well enough, for disabilities and are more of a gimmick for pirates. I don;t know how many GW2 players, with a limb disability, play or would want their disability catered for, aesthetically, but in the whole "inclusiveness" of the game feel that it's something ANet could look into. We have the LGBTQ+ scene catered for so how about disabilities?

Firstly, I'd just like a book cart, in my home instance, so that I can clear out the "library" of books in my storage. 📚 Secondly, I have personal housing. It's called a Guild Hall. I can fill it with the gains from my ventures around Tyria. I can fill it with crafted stuffs.....if I could be bothered levelling my scribing. It's also got storage for my materials overflow. Why would I want a house when I have a, pretty, large "estate" to play in? 🥴 It's also a gold and materials sink! Woohoo!! 😆

Why not just bring back the GW1 build template model? Apart from it not generating money.......

Every time I get to the end battle of VoD I get a DC - 7.11.3.191.101 - and it's starting to really kitten me off. At the end of cinematics it says that my character is still watching the video. If you can't kittening fix it then push my character past it and give me the kittening rewards. I got through the Romke mission by completely removing EVERYTHING to do with GW2 and reinstalling it all from scratch. So my game client is about as fresh as it can get. Am I expected to do this for EVERY story instance. Everything else, in the game, works fine. Also the in game bug reporter doesn't include Personal Story or story instances in the lisings.

What "missions"? VoD, killing Zhaitan is the biggy that takes forever. I know that later xpac and LW instances will "save" you at certain points so that you don't have to run from the start so that would be nice for them to retro implement into the older stuff. I think I did VoD about 8 or 9 times before getting the completion. ...and that's a LOT of time invested with frustration. And it's generally (90%) at the end dialogues where the issue occurs. I haven't had a normal open world DC in months, maybe even a year, and it's local to the story instances. I've even sat through all the talky bits, rather than skipping to the end, in case that's had an effect.....which it doesn't! ><

I've been having serious issues with Personal Story and LW story instances where I'm getting disconnected continually. On one character I had to do Victort or Death (you know the wait around and do kitten all mission that takes FOREVER!) numerous times before it let me complete it. Current toon having issues with the Romke mission where it DCs me at the end wiothout giving credit. One of my other characters had issues with the LW2 Corrupted story instance...again multiple attempts required.....it DCd me last night, luckily after getting the "completion music". I've whitelisted the GW2 folder in AV. Whitelisted GW2 in the Firewall. Repaired the installation. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Playing on the lowest possible graphics settings. So, what's the answer? Give up on PS & old LW?

I've had to do EVERY instance at least twice because if DCs. I even disconnected when talking to the Priory muppet in the open world. Now I've done "From the ashes" FIVE times and disconnect every time I speak to the priestess. So I'm stuck! Edit - SIX times. And this is after I deleted the DAT file and download the entire 40GB file. I can uncerstand the problems on day 1 but this is day 4!!!!

A cart in the home instance where all our books go, automatically, once that collection is completed. I have lots of lore books that take up valuable inventory space but are, in my opinion, too valuable to ditch.
