  1. How can you introduce Jefferson when he betrayed us and quit for FF14... I miss his Streams.
  2. The Ascended food's are all pots that last for 5 minutes after being placed... You don't have to run PoF to be viable in zergs and end-game gear is still Ascended, Legendary is no better, just better QoL.
  3. It happens to every class and can happen anywhere. It's been a 'feature' since launch.
  4. They may be seen as gankers (like SA) cause... They permagank? Even when one of them loses a duel, 3-4 will join the fight. Hm. It was implied to be fair... But then that's also the nature of WvW so... /shrug
  5. Cake Walk have generally good players, there's not really much of an argument there however, they are more well known in EU WvW for ganking more than anything else... Aside the obvious part of their guild leader being banned for win-trading last year i think? They're on a similar level to Systematic Abuse in my opinion. Good players but majority of them are just seen as 'gankers'.

  8. Do the WvW dailies, each potion gives you 50% of a level of the reward track. Beyond that, getting your participation to T6 and keeping it there by killing guards, dolys, players and just capping Camps is the easiest way. Zerging will only get you so far but won't make it any quicker per say. Don't forget you can get a 10% reward track boost from your GH and B'day boosters help with it too.
  9. you have to understand, eu hasn't won a gvg with na since ep. so it's all forum puff for now. :) if this happens. :3 i hope eu does prepare. it's been 2 almost 3 years now? i'm sure eu gvg catched up. And GvGs were 50v50 since...? Also, when eP was beaten they came to EU, so they had the 'disadvantage' of lag etc just as much as when EU went to fight NA over there, which if memory serves right, we've had to go to you a lot more than any of you came to us. i love that reason. =) now if expandas do go there with his gang. be nice and let the fight speak for itself. and yes, unfortunately na so far is still wearing the gvg crown. so time to prove it in the fight =) id love to come and join too but its at office hours. :/ Your still missing the point of 50v50 isn't a GvG but blob fights should be fun i guess? Mostly depends on the MU tbh, i can't see everyone moving just to fight some NA guys for a weekend...

  13. what do you mean ^^ what will happen ? we are 5-7 ppl i think its clear that sometimes die to 30+ ppl or big guilds with 25+ ppl. ^^ Was more of an overall view of montage videos, not a specific stab at yours.. However, not every fight you lose is a bad fight and can show how strong havocing can be even to numbers much larger than them. I feel the same about roaming montages, they only show fights they win, never the hard fought fights that they lose.

  17. And this is where the argument stops since 'GvG' isn't a recognised mode by ANet as i posted before.. Sorry dude, dead horse and stick. There has been enough changes toward GvG. For example reveal changes were all made because of GvG. And were all brought back in because it changed the 'balance' of how it affected everything else.

  19. How do you not understand that comment? You should mentally process the scenario for zerg fights, it might help you understand. If you are a single person getting 20 scourges worth of damage lobbed at you, you are indeed probably dead. If you are a player amongst a 40 person zerg and 20 scourges are lobbing damage at you, the odds of you getting hit by 20 scourges worth of damage will have been MASSIVELY reduced making your death much less likely. Nobody is really going to notice when you still have hundreds of AoEs being tossed around back and forth. Yes, people will notice. You might not. Which sounds like a personal problem. But plenty of good players will. There were complaints about too many AoEs prior to pof and scourge, so you don’t really have a point. This change is not moving the gameplay needle. It clearly will reduce the damage scourge blobs deal against enemy blobs, so not sure what exactly is the point of this argument <.< The point is you will still have wall to wall AoE carpeting inside of wvw. And as a result, the devs are hesitant to make other adjustments. There were too many AoEs before scourge and too many AoEs after scourge. This won’t change how wvw zerg combat plays out. There's nothing inherently wrong with wall to wall AoE carpets. This may come as a surprise but AoE carpets don't just up and kill people. Especially if they are wall to wall. You seem as if you haven’t been paying attention to wvw much, or the years of complaints. You also seem unaware that having too many AoEs puts some limitations on the devs making other changes to the game. Another also, you seem to not understand that this game strongly favors ranged over melee, and that cuts out a number of potential build options from growing into the meta. Finally, shades were 5 target before, while traited, so it’s not like we haven’t been there, and it’s not like it wasn’t ever “aoe wars” before. You may think mindlessly spamming AoEs all over is quality gameplay, but some of us don’t. Ranged is heavily favoured over melee... Interesting point when the meta only shifted away from melee ball trains with HoT release and the whole change to how stability works. By this comment, i'm going to guess you weren't around for the earlier months/year of WvW and came in at a later time.
  20. I'd like to point out that GvG isn't a mode that ANet acknowledges and they won't make any balance changes based on anything to do with GvGs. Having said this, i agree that Warriors are easy to interrupt out of their bubble (I main Warrior myself so i know), you just need to focus them, as soon as our invulns are popped which if you have enough attention they pop pretty early, it's simply corrupt and focus them down when they try to run back to their zerg IF the Comm doesn't follow up/push on it.

  22. The planned nerf seems to be too much but if they remove the damage of any hard cc skill in the game (like it seems) it's back in line. And dear Warrior players: don't forget that in WvW you still have your broken stance uptime granting you 10 seconds of invulnerability unless at least 2 Necros unload all their corrupts on you (which won't happen if you don't suck at the game as you have plenty of mobility). 10 seconds you say? Would that be the double Endure Pain that only negates physical damage and corrupts do nothing or the double Resistance (Which not a lot run that i know of) which 1 is a pulsing Resistance of 1 second and the other than pops resistance once and when it gets rupted, it's gone?Defense Spellbreakers are the most durable build in the zerg. No other spec can rush into the enemy blob and return without a scratch. That's the potential of your defensive option (bubble tank) as a Warrior. They are already a tough matchup without Rampage. When popping Rampage at the right moment they can faceroll any other build. Play the two builds above in combination with 2 firebrands and you have a broken roaming combo that deals tons of damage and is almost impossible to kill. Try not to confuse zerging with roaming and Warriors rarely come out without a scratch if people actually focused them properly and/or their Comm doesn't push in to support them retreating for over-extending. As for "Something overpowered is justified because other options are only average? Is that how you would balance a game?" Try thinking a bit more rather than trying to imply something i wasn't implying especially when it comes to balance because i've said it all along that WvW is the ugly love-child of PvE and sPvP and is near impossible to properly balance.

You run a no busted elite like the rest So they need to make Rampage as useless as every other Elite on Warrior so it's in-line with every other specs Elite in the game...? Then i want to be able to have Warrior Stealth because Thieves, Mesmers, Rangers and Engineers have it and it's not fair we don't! Edited: I forgot Rangers and Engis have stealth... Not as useless, as 'usefull'And not a ''win' buttonSo useless... It's hardly a 'win' button either. Kite, block, blind, condi bomb, there's plenty of counters. I'm not saying it doesn't need to be toned down damage wise but nerfing it into the floor like they did Head Butt because that was 'too OP!' will just make it useless. It's just another guy who probably got mashed by 1 War using Rampage and has decided it should be deleted from the game. Same with every other thing somebody finds to be 'broken'.
