  1. What? That literally makes no sense...
  2. You've spelt your title wrong and your sentence wrong... It's 'Complaint' - how'd you expect the Devs to take this seriously. :)
  3. condi dmg & application isnt the problem. The tank-condi-stats are the main thing. I wonder what would happen if Trailblazer was removed. Or if anything that has Toughness + Condition Damage or Condition Damage + Expertise on it was removed. I'll bet a lot more people would start using -20% Condition Duration/Damage foods and would probably even invest more in to traits or runes that have similar effects. Then Condition builds would be pretty well useless because they would have very low duration, in most cases 10 - 20% tops, and many people would be using duration/damage reduction to further counter that ( which more people should be doing right now anyway ). I don't disagree that certain stats are over stacked. But I also think Trailblazer isn't the worst offender despite it being a popular complaint. I've said previously that people don't often say anything about Boon Duration or healing builds but they are equally as over stacked and problematic with the added benefit of being substantially more useful in groups. If condi-tank stats are removed and/or nerfed, healing and boon stats need to get the same treatment. If not, we would then have certain builds near immortal through sheer durability that Conditions would have previously been the answer to. And if we're going to give other stats the same treatment as condi-tank stats, may as well go the whole nine yards and add the PvP amulet system to further extinguish build diversity. Bottom line is that WvW is rife with imbalance and endless potential for niche builds to over perform in what ever area they excel. We can remove the possibility for Condition builds to include defensive stats but I guarantee it will give rise to builds having free reign in a kingdom where once they were contained. But healing did get nerfed in the last balance patch due to it being crept with power. I don't disagree some stat combos should never have been brought into the game and could be look at being toned down if anything. However, -10% damage reduction actually does nothing against Conditions because Conditions are armour ignoring damage... There's only one food off the top of my head that help lower the damage by -5%, everything else again, off the top of my head is -% Condition Duration. The issue that comes with this if is you run into a power build, -20% (Example) Condition Duration food won't do jack to help you survive whereas -10% damage reduction will, same vice versa against a Condition build. There are still a couple classes that can out-cleanse Condition spam builds but for the most part, they don't deal enough damage back to actually kill said person which leads it to either a stale-mate or someone gets help... Obviously there are classes that excel at cleansing and still deal a lot of damage (Engi & Ele comes to mind) but for the most part as i said before, Condition re-application/spam is the bigger issue than the damage from Conditions itself. Yes, before you jump on me, Boon re-application/spam also needs to be toned down some more.
  4. Condi damage isn't the issue, it's the amount of spammable Condi application that's become the problem.
  5. All I see happening with all of these is the effective removal of support from this game, which is already only barely viable. I want whatever they're smoking...
  6. I agree with everything except combat mechanics... Still one of the best around MMO wise.
  7. The key has a use, go use it. I agree with you on the emblems. Think about this though, the surplus emblems let you craft rings for multiple characters. Read the latest update about Legendary trinkets/armour in Templates, comment become obsolete.
  8. I asked Ben P when i saw him in a Stream and he said yes.
  9. Mist Bands aren't classed as 'Unique' but both the Slumbering Conflux and Conflux are. Same with all the other Ascended Rings/Accessories, they're all classed as 'Unique'.
  10. Slumbering Conflux has no ball, Conflux has the ball - but you have to make both to wear them both, you can't wear 2 of the same.
  11. Yes but the 2 achievements are repeatable which means you can make as many as like.
  12. Think it was the Warbringer that also uses the Gift of Glory to make too which is a "WvW backpiece" funny how some people have only picked up on the new Ring needing it. :)
  13. Far as i've seen from discussions you can because they're both counted as seperate 'Unique' items. Just wish you didn't have to have a floating ball that follows you like a mini-pet, it's really awful looking and really not needed... Just my opinion.
  14. It's already been planned for the next WvW Mount re-skin. Coming to a Gemstore near you! (2k gems required, no refunds).
  15. 2 months before it reset? Sure, that would help the Casual WvWer complete Diamond Chest however those who spend all their time in WvW and get ticket capped at 365 every time they complete the whole cycle would gain less than what they do now... So either they increase the ticket cap which in turn goes straight back to what the OP is complaining about or the people who complete the track weekly gain "less rewards" because the repeatable Diamond Chest is pretty worthless.
  16. Sounds like de-syncing. Dolyaks do this quite often too. But as someone else has said, if you use a ranged AA or leap etc it usually puts you in the right direction of where they're ACTUALLY in downstate.
  17. Any of the new Living Story ones pretty much, except the Icebrood Saga one that just gives Ice and Chili's - it's not as good.
  18. Who knew trying to balance a game mode around so many different aspects could be so difficult. :)
  19. Apparently they're not going to mix with the current 3 from PvE, just rumours though...
  20. That's the issue, WvW has to be balanced around group/zerg/blob play AS WELL AS small scale/roaming/havoc group play. sPvP is an easier thing to hotfix since it's all based on fighting on a point/node where in WvW you have an area as big as some sPvP maps to manoeuvre around when fighting someone.
  21. ANet have already said multiple times that making the GH use sPvP and/or WvW balance instead of PvE isn't as easy to do as it sounds from a coding point of view. Yes, it makes more sense since that's realistically what the Arena in there is for but that's your answer... Condi in small scale has been very prominent for years, people just never noticed how much because power still did so much, now power's been brought back to vanilla GW2 levels more, it stands out that much more. They've also said that they're working on bringing Condi damage down to a more manageable level like they have done with the powercreep. This patch was the first iteration, there's still more to come (Or so we've been told and we hope). Warclaw is STILL faster than running on foot WITH swiftness, the only thing that still outpaces it is Thieves and maybe Ranger? (Not sure since the nerf to F2 Soulbeast) So from a bystander point of view, the movement speed to Warclaw isn't a big a hit as people think, they just got to used to it like they did powercreep...
  22. I'm playing Burn DH now, and I love WoR. I think ANET needs to tweak it so it's easier to tell if the WoR is friendly or not; sort of like what they did to help you discern a friendly Winds from those of your enemy. The change they made back in 2019 wasn't enough imo. Actually they did... WoR now has a red AoE under it and a weird dark/reddish colour glow around the rim of the wall itself. Red aoe under, with so much aoe visual clutter a player won’t notice that :D Even on smaller scale It’s rare to spot that and u look 3x times to confirm if that is a aoe circle arround friendly WoR or if really is a enemy WoR. It doesn’t work XD /shrug I've not really had any issues spotting 'em... Spotting WoR? No problem. Discerning if it is friendly or not? With symbols, winds, et al, it becomes very hard to spot, at least imo. If they changed it so friendly was blue and enemy was red in colour, that would be a simple and easy discernible fix. If I recall the blue from enemy wor is slightly diferent as in more pale???Yours is a more vibrant blue, the enemies is a dimmer darker blue. Similar to Warriors bubble, friendly is bright orange, enemies is a dimmer darker orange.
