Except you can't deny that healing in the game has been power crept just as hard as damage has and its to the point of too much, it especially can't stay as it is if the intention is to reduce damage coefficients across the board as that would then make sustain/healing far, far too powerful in comparison to the amount of damage being done. Support was less available back in Core GW2 not due to the numbers on healing skills but due to the lack of them. Guardian was about it in terms of support and healing and even that didn't have a large number of skills that sustained healing on players. Guardian even back in Core GW2, though, was still a go to for boons for zergs and group play. With all of the changes over the years the healing and support offered by Scrapper, Tempest, Revenant, especially Firebrand and even Warrior to some extent has just become more and more and more. It is too much and if support gets reduced, just like damage, the landscape for support and healing might change but that is just something that will need to be adapted to. Not entirely true... The idea around the combat in GW2 was to remove the 'Holy Trinity System' which they did to a certain extent. Yes, classes still had their roles in groups but when i first started playing WvW so many years ago, the meta was focused around group healing/teamplay far more than it is now... Yes, the TTK was a lot lower back then but you never had 'dedicated healers' because there wasn't any need for them. Guard, Warrior and Ele all used to be what you used to heal your party (Squads weren't a thing, glorious...) via blasting fields and skills/traits. With the Powercreep, the healing potential HAD to increase to compensate but now both are at an extremely horrific level and both need to be addressed and toned down which hopefully, will happen.

  4. No, it's the exact same. If you port from another map when the WP is open, then you'll go to that WP. If the WP gets contested whilst you're loading into the map then you kicked to spawn. if been able to use an OPEN and still active waypoint ,then it should just be accepted as "ported there" ,even if its contested or gone. It should go all from the point from being able to port there or notAnd you don't see any issues with that idea...?

  6. I've seen Mesmers lead rarely on EU over the years, i've seen more Necro Commanders over the same years and the odd Engi Commander since they become heal/cleanse bots. The lack of access to Stability argument is pretty dire since every class has access to Stability (or 2) in some form/trait/skill and the lack of usually comes from not having enough Firebrands or Guardians for that matter since they've always been the backbone of zergs along with Necros since launch.

  8. Just to point out, the same thing happens if you WP from another map to a normal WP that then gets contested while you're loading in, it's no different.
  9. mmm bb es - very high. is that an english speaking server? Might have some English speakers there, i've no idea. It's the only Spanish server so... But for actual activity between the times you've asked, that's your only real consistent option.

  12. You mean Piken players will only post every 2 weeks about population rather than daily? :open_mouth: Im pretty certain Piken people had every right to complain about population update. Given anet cant do their jobs swiftly and properly in terms of that subject.This would suggest you know how their system works and every variable that they take into acc... Never mind, you don't. :D

  15. I'd say wait for re-links, if you don't want to wait for that (31st Jan should be the new ones) then in my experience:- FSP, UW and Gandara usually have the most 'active' roamers i've fought over the years.

  19. This is exactly it. Unless all stat combos, foods and oils/stones are allowed, it'll be pointless to do anything GvG related unless we go back to the meta of old when everyone's glass and the first range spike to land wins the whole round...
  20. So, not unavoidable... Reflects are not available to every class, some don't even have an effective method of projectile avoidance at all. His and now your error is believing the only projectile mitigation is reflect, which is obviously not true. sigh Lets try this again Not once did I say that reflects is the "only" projectile mitigation. As a player of 6+ years that would be super absurd to think this. My list was created as someone claimed that not every class has reflects SPECIFICALLY. This is it, this is the only purpose of my list. There's no hidden meaning, no hidden agenda, or Illuminati association. If you're going by reflects alone then you're right, the original argument and following comments were about having some form of protection/reflect/block from ranged/projectiles so in this case, you're also wrong.
