  1. Hopefuly they focus on making gw3 pvp with good foundations and fun, rather than hastly trying to implement them on the fly and flop like how they did with gw2
  2. Funny, I'm not even a pve player and get called out as one when I'm just saying what has been happening since PoF.
  3. Here is the thing, just because you play pvp all day it doesn't mean most of the playerbase does. We are a tiny minority in arenanet's eyes. Sure we deserve more content, but to them it is not profitable or in their best interest for the game to provide major content drops for pvp.
  4. Your ideas are good changes to implement but right now firebrand at least to me feels pretty scuffed to play atm, it is better than it was but some fundational problems are still there. Imbued Haste in general is a trait that shouldn't even exist tbh. You will barely ever get the benefit of it in PvP anyway since quickness duration is low. I wish they would change this trait to proc off swiftness instead of quickness in PvP could make it better or just completely change the trait into something else. I feel like firebrand since the rework has been incredibly clunky to play in pvp since we lost the old loremaster that help you keep all your virtue passives, also with swift scholar losing stacks every time you swap from tome to tome, so if you swap from tome of resolve to tome of courage you get punished for it even if you are going to still be using tome skills so it forces you into this playstyle of having to use 3 pages otherwise you lose value. Being forced to use archivist of whispers just so you can have a decent amount of pages even on hybrid builds feels pretty meh.
  5. This relic is still bugged and no sight of being fixed yet, very ironic that a relic called relic of the thief is bugged on thief.
  6. There seems to be a bug with Relic of the Thief with sword main hand and sword/dagger skills not activating the relic at all, even when it clearly uses initiative. I also show how the sword/pistol skill doesn't have this problem at all anet pls fix
  7. This argument is such weak sauce. How come then basi venom has only a 40s cd with a shared CC to 5 targets, signet of humillity is 60s and it is the best CC skill in the game, charge on flesh golem is only a 40s cd. Why is engi getting a reliable CC elite skill a bad thing either way, nothing wrong with having a what 1.5s water field for basically decoration since the duration is so low and a smoke field that does nothing anyway because you get instantly revealed in an actual fight?
  8. It makes no sense having such a long cd in pve. It should be at least at least a 90scd or make it so the cd is lower if all the turrets eventually time out
  9. Some of these changes are good, however, they will never implement any of this because PvP brings them no money, simple as that. There are not enough players that invest time into PvP and the situation is only going to get worst as more players keep slowly leaving the gamemode. They should stop trying to make the game "competitive" (has never really been) and just make it more casual fun, bring more build variety, bring back some stats or straight make different amulets for pvp, maybe some wacky changes to maps that could be fun in unranked. But really there is no point in trying to waste your time and energy on a company that is not interested on supporting a maintenance gamemode like PvP right now
  10. Is arenanet scared of having chaos chrono back? I doubt it would be as busted as it used to be.. just give us old regen from phantasms in inspiration or bountiful disillusionment providing boons on shatter for allies as well in PvE and I will be happy.
  11. Definitely the best option for sure. They could make it so sand shards don't steal boons but instead provides alacrity when it ends or something, can't believe they didn't think of that alternative.

I fooling around in the golem for a while and then I noticed if you cast well of precognition and then as soon as it starts casting use blurred frenzy, the cooldown gets used but the well never appears. I tried this with all the wells but none of them have this behavior even well of eternity that has the same cast time. Is this supposed to be intended?
  15. I agree with pretty much everything except with the idea of Archivis t of whispers. Firebrand as a baseline should have the 6-8 pages with a recovery of 5-6 seconds per page. The main reason is that having that option of getting your pages faster or giving you more pages is inherently just a band aid fix. It would be generally easier for them to improve, balance or rework tome skills with a pre-defined amount of pages and flat recovery than having modifiers than improve these cooldowns. Having 8 pages that recharge every 5 or 6 seconds would be the perfect amount for that firebrand versatility in healer builds . (In terms of being able to burst heal team mates and use some of your tome skills reactively)

  17. If you like condition builds maybe you should try staff mirage. It is really good build in pve for anything. You can have good uptime of boons with your ambush skil (alacrity and might) l while still doing good dps. You can play it in instance content with full vipers gear but in open world I usually run trailblazer you should be fine.   18. That way we have more options with supports on revenant and it hurts build diversity afterall. Losing our alacrity when other classes are getting it for free is honestly very disappointing. If having alacrity in competitive gamemodes is the issue, just keep as vigor in pvp and wvw.
  19. This game will always be a nightmare to balance until they do a design skill split between pve and pvp/wvw. It is innevitable, they need to realize that something that is completely fine and balanced in pve design wise will not always be the most balanced thing in the other gamemodes. Yes this is going to make development of skills more long and expensive, but in the long run it will pay off

  21. I would say the best way to go with vindi dodge is making it shorter duration in the air while also reducing the endurance requirement from 100 to 50, it needs to be way faster and spammable. Sort of like mirage cloak.
