  1. I am but a mall Santa Cat in comparison to you. Thank you for the wonderful six years, even if I've only been around for two.
  2. The title says about half of what I am doing. For Christmas, my guild has organized a silly GW2 Christmas card event, and my idea is to have a giant pile of sleeping Charr as mine. The problem of course, is that I am only one Charr out of many. So, if anybody would be willing to join me one 12/15 at reset (time flexible) in Mustering Grounds, Black Citadel and, well, sleep, it would be much appreciated.
  3. I have done the personal story twice now, and do not want to go through it again, but since I don't plan to, the usual order mentor who gets referenced throughout the story is replaced with Trahearne. If I do the initial joining an order story step with another player (despite not doing the steps beforehand) will it still count me as joining that order, or will it not since I didn't do prior steps?
  4. Are there ways to participate in the costume contest if we don't have a European account? I plan to make one -since the activities seem super fun-- but I don't think my costume items will transfer. I'd like to pick 55 for the raffle IGN is Sobeken if that is needed
  5. Looks like a mess of graphics. I think I see a skin color version of Mad King Thorns head
  6. Playable Tengu Replayable Living World Season 1 (Even if it's on a separate game) I wanna go to that place on the full map called "Not Real"
  7. I'm not are how common Horses are on Tyria. Their only mention has been in the books and they've otherwise never been seen
  8. ArenaNet is usually pretty good with racial differences in dialogue. Surprising this one didn't get the same treatment
  9. Come to think of it you're right. With how few actual pants the Charr have, the lack of dresses is shocking. Though I suppose they don't really where them culturally
  10. Light armor Charr have exactly one (1) pants option that are just pants without added stuff. I thank the Ascalonian Performers pants every day
  11. Really? How did I get it in my head it was the dragon crystal? Regardless, thank you!
  12. What do you need to do to unlock the skritt mobilization rewards? Last time it was buying the dragon mastery crystal but there isn't one for them.
  13. That had me laughing out loud! :smiley:I wish "someone" heard that and told Rytlock and i wish they've done more with it. Agreed, I want the reaction of our character from someone finding out. Literally everyone was on the radio and nobody commented Exactly! :smiley:Taimi even pitches into the commander's conversations meaning, she is clearly listening to everything lol.I want Rytlock to know the commander thinks he has soft fur! And i want my Charr commander to exchange grooming tips with Rytlock after that!!! Arenanet, make it happen please! Would be a nice small nod in say, last episode of Icebrood saga, like, Canach or someone spills it out, the commander is surprised, and it then turns out everyone heard that and everyone knew but they didn't want to say anything. EDIT: Correction! Everyone already knows!!! Why didn't anyone comment on this??? That would have been hilarious!I want something to embarrass the commander at some point. They're always so calm and levelheaded, I wanna see 'em freak out
  14. That had me laughing out loud! :smiley:I wish "someone" heard that and told Rytlock and i wish they've done more with it. Agreed, I want the reaction of our character from someone finding out. Literally everyone was on the radio and nobody commented
  15. Probably in the ??? area in Jahai Bluffs when your character is completely out of it and comments on the softness of Rytlock's fur. It made ma do a double take when I first saw it
  16. In the case of Charr at least, it would give them an actual house. I think the closest the Hero’s Canton has to a house is a tent like barrack
  17. It seems to me that it’s making space in the back in the same way it would to accommodate a Charr’s tail. How odd
  18. I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I like not knowing until soon before release. That way I don't have to wait anxiously for a long time
  19. Really? I play around with the Charr character creator all the time and they've never been cropped out for me
  20. Should we expect the Holy Inquisition to come out of an Asura gate and start preaching Christian values? Pretty sure the scenario would be as follows:Holy Inquisition: "HEATHEN SORCERY!!!"Elementalist: "Duh" casts meteor shower As an Elementalist I think an Overload Air would end that better
  21. Different world, different wedding ceremonies. Plus that's not the only style of wedding in our world.
  22. I have thought about that. Though in their case I'm not sure if they're actually considered family. They do call the Pale Tree mother, but it seems more like a title. (I know the Pale Tree technically birthed them, but they are plants.)
  23. ee> @AgentMoore.9453 said: Cool outfit, as I've not seen any Charr talking about martial customs in game yet. Some Charr probably do get married though, and there are Charr couples peppered around the game to suggest as much. However it's probably not common, and most of them are unnamed NPCs (Some are same sex - the couple timidly visiting the Four Winds Festival comes to mind) since I can't imagine marriage (or any long-term intimacy) is a big deal in such a warband-warcentric society like theirs. The Olmakhan seem more suited to things like intimate bonding and marital ceremonies, but they're quite different from Legion Charr and it'd be nice to see more of what their customs are like. Legion Charr seem to take mates and bond like any of the other races (Crecia/Rytlock), but those relationships are tamped down a bit by the whole 'bring your kid to fahrar at age 1 and backflip back into the battlefield' practice they've employed since GW1. They get together, they have kids, but their families are more artificial and their relationships with one another are overridden by their loyalty to the Legions. Makes sense. I wonder if the outfit was meant be Olmakhan in nature then. It does seem to fit their style.
