  1. Known issue. Been suggested many times from many different people over the games life to fix it. Nothing has been done nor probably will be done at this point. Best to get used to it.
  2. I actually don't mind these. I am however expecting a Swaggering chestpiece, pants, or gloves though in the future if they are adding more skins again.
  3. What I want is something already in game, but it needs to be reworked to be actually meta. I am talking P/P here for a true Gunslinger feel which the game lacks.
  4. I would be for that, but sadly I know they would never actually implement something like that.
  5. IDK. I don't think you guys fully grasp and understand the power that this will bring to the game if it was added. Our characters are already powerful as is, so if they added mullets to game, our characters power level would go over 9000. We could even one shot Aurene at that level.
  6. That is true. I always forget Spellbreaker did that. I always seem to think they already had offhand dagger since warrior has most weapons, but you are correct. That gives me hope actually it could happen albeit with a low chance.
  7. While I would love for them to give dual pistols instead of just one to the ele, I don't see it happening sadly. They always give only one weapon out at a time, so at most we will get either main hand or off hand pistol. Now, I can see mesmer getting dual pistols since it already has offhand pistol use. As for ele, I would happy with rifle, bow, or mh/oh pistol.
  8. See, I don't see anything wrong with Harbinger personally. I think it works and is fine as is with it benching about 39k or something which is good enough for me. I couldn't care less about the build diversity and GM traits since as long as I am doing damage with conditions I am fine with it. I also like the gun-fu nature of it for a caster, and I think it fits the necro Witch Hunter aspect quite well.
  9. Well, that is why I was mainly talking about WoW's story telling in the past because like I said I quit in MoP. I wasn't sure how it was now because I have not touched it since then, nor do I plan too because I think the game has more issues besides the story part that would keep me from playing it again. One of them is the more or less I see the community as more toxic than compared to GW2 which is a turn off. It was bad back in MoP days, but it is more toxic now from just observations of the community.
  10. Well, there are games that do to an extent. It just doesn't have PvP in it with the game being purely PvE where you don't need the tells. For example, the invisible shield in FF14 is one case where you can hide the weapon. But that game also has more defined classes and looks, so it can get away with it I suppose unlike here where you can make any build. There are games though that use just hands for the mages like WoW though, so there is no real way to tell your next move there.
  11. Honestly, that is why I get frustrated at the PvP side of things a lot here. It ruins too many good things that could happen like invisible weapons, remove the effects of combat stuff like Virtuoso daggers and Harbinger green stuff, and there is probably more stuff I forgot. PvP relies on looking at opponents stuff too much that in the end it gimps fashion and actual player choice in matters.
  12. I guess that is one of the big differences between us then when it comes to thinking on the story. I come from a heavy JRPG background when I started playing WoW, so I never cared for the group story telling of it. I always saw it as weak and kind of meh that the focus was not on your character. I never did any of the raids when I played because I am still mostly a solo person to this day, so I missed a lot of the conclusions because it was locked behind raids which put me in a sour mood to how they did the stories. I wouldn't consider Dragon's Watch to be this way like WoW really because as you said it still drops on the commander making your character the main focus of the story. Everyone else is just backdrop to support you. I also separate the gameplay from the story, so everyone else being a commander doesn't bug me because from a story perspective you are the only commander in the world. And yeah, I agree GW2 is more accessible this way since you don't need to do raids and such to see the story unfold. It makes it a lot easier to focus on just your character.
  13. Yes, I know how it was back in the day with WoW. I quit in MoP as well and frankly the way they did most things was awful. The CS were far between with most of anything just being text logs. You also were forced to raid to even see most of the story content which is bad design. And for a game to be an RPG it should involve your character some affecting the outcome. If you played as any of the main characters than that would be fine still. You don't though because you are nobody #1023. (I am talking Pre-WoD here. I know things changed with future expacs) There is a reason most people hate FF12 in the series saying the story is weak. It is because your character is not the main focus of it. Same reason WoW story was weak for MoP era and before. Well, it started off that way to build your character up to be the commander and the hero of the story. So by the end of it, you were worthy to be called a true hero. It's the same with how most good stories start. You are not immediately the chosen one. You kind of have to build up to it to become one.
  14. What story telling in WoW? All of it is in books mainly without your character being the main focus which makes it kind of pointless from a video game point of view.
  15. It is more you started caring less about being optimal to that extreme, and you started enjoying the game more outside looking at numbers. But I also think it is an age as well since you may have realized that you don't need to show off to anyone because no one cares that you are a sweaty nail-biter. Pride and all that have no real value in an online game at the end of the day. There are LI builds though which are easy to do and not that complex which still do decent numbers though if you want to cavemen your way through content without dragging the team down.
  16. It's that time again? It feel like I was just setting the clock back an hour not to long ago.
  17. You mean a street taco cart like stand correct? Like from the back of a carriage or something for the in game version of a truck.
  18. Again like I said to the last poster, there are lot of armor pieces that don't cover the arm and legs up that look good, but are not too revealing in which the tattoos would work showing them off still. No one said cover everything up. Every armor weight has a few options like that. Not every piece is cover every part of your body up.
  19. All my char have a reason to get tattoos. They are all basically witches and magic users, so having tattoos and runes is part of the tradition even if they come from a higher noble blood. Tattoos transcend all classes and positions. What they don't have a reason to do is wear just bra everywhere they go looking like an alley worker.
  20. Not really. The outfits I use usually show arms and such which would work for sleeve tattoos. Not to mention the dresses that are open on basically a lot of female looks would show the tattoo off as well. So, that is not really an excuse in my eyes when it should have been in the customization window. Not saying they couldn't add this as well for those that want it, but overall, the female bra strap makes my char look like a lady of the night from the red light district which I don't like at all.
  21. I am kind of disappointed in it. I want an actual tattoo, so I can use with it other already made armor pieces for my customization. The fact it is basically an armor piece with the tattoo makes me meh on it. Yes, I know of the norn stuff, but I think norn don't look good due to having too much muscle and too tall leaving that option out. I wouldn't mind paying for a tattoo with the change body ticket item(forgot the name) instead of this way.
  22. It's more I don't care for the other mounts as much. I spent a long time on my Griffon, and frankly, I am kind of done with it. I also don't switch to other mounts because I don't see a need too. I am in no rush to be as fast as possible getting places even with the metas and such, so I barely even touch the beetle or the raptor anymore because I don't see a need too. I am fine just being on my skyscale for almost anything. Being speedy and optimizing that much just makes me hate the game even more making it feel like a job if I optimize how I travel about.
  23. Well, can we at least take the boss out to dinner first before we do that to them?
  24. I am overall "it is ok" at this point with it. It's not bad nor is it great. The strong points for me from it are some of the elite specs since I love my Harbinger and Virtuoso, and I love the fishing it introduced as well. Some of the maps are ok enough for me along with the story being just ok. Overall, it is an average expansion in my eyes.
