ok ..fixed it by deleting the addons folder..lol

I've repaired the client twice and deleted the local file. The client keeps closing after selecting a character. Please help devs...

The new reward system is for the birds. If you want memories or extra tickets, then put them in the wvw reward tracks. They will be earned thru active game play. Enough is enough.

The rewards now blow dog. The devs need to change it back. This new system sucks . If attacking something is not rewarded, then no one will attack..just defend. Good system devs. lolololololol

Just looked at those achievements and why not make it 14 gold ..2g for ea achievement. Get the gold as you complete each achievement...seems reasonable. We still need a WVW vendor so that we can buy sell trade exchange wvw currencies 🙂

What the devs should have done is introduced an EXCHANGE VENDOR . Individuals can exchange wvw currencies for items or other wvw currencies. IE, tickets for memories, heroics for tickets, memories for heroics, etc. And...all wvw currencies can be sold for gold but not purchased with gold. (i know..give the shaft to pver's ) but they need to earn it. This is not something for the TP, but wvw vendor only!!!

Ele is not op and can be killed. It really is a learn to play issue. The only thing the devs need to look at is Dragon’s Tooth. Maybe replace it with something like a dragon banner skill…dragon’s breath. Make it an aoe circle or something.

Got it to work straight connect to 5.1 surround via spdif optical. Took a bit to find the spdif option …and it works. For those that want a sound mixer option that works in win 11 laptops..download Peter’s equalizer apo configuration extension..PEACE 1.6.3.6…works great.

I have an spdif port on the laptop and I would like to connect my z906 speakers via optical. I have a toslink/spdif cable with an optical end. The z906 supports an optical connection. Will a DAC that has spdif optical input/outputs work? My old computer system had optical out to speakers…worked just fine. Doesn’t work that way on the laptop. 😟

Killed a noob stealth thief last nite in front of SMC. It was funny at the time. Didn’t know the thief was there. So, you can kill them…just aoe an area, use pull or gap closer..kill. However, if a good deadeye gets a hold of you..well..

Devs should move all stats back to the user and make the mech bot into a music jukebox or joke/standup machine. It’s size needs to be reduced to that of a floating gyro. 😀

The guild / guild members I’m with basically are doing other things/games. GW2 is basically dead atm especially in WVW. I’m still trying out my own builds in wvw just for fun but for how long? Eventually, I might be taking a break as well. There is a lot of nerfs and toxic people as a result of the nerfs…adapt or die is what’s going around.

Rifle mech is not in a good state in WVW. It really sucks. I seldom use the rifle mech but instead use the mortar kit. You only get hits or kills if the targets are stationary. Otherwise, just use hmech for laughs. Takes forever to kill anything…but it works.

It's the animation and mech genius that makes it bad now. I've played condi, damage, and Hmech. I like hmech the best. I'm not for or against the mechanist class, but I'm not for people crying all the time about any class being OP without a reasonable solution. My main class was weaver until it got nerfed a while back. Played / tested other classes until they got nerfed as well. When will it end? Who knows. Just pick something, play it until it gets nerfed, and move on.

Enjoy your scepter for now..it will get nerfed. That being said, I'm getting my weaver out again to try it in wvw. Rifle mech/scrapper is dead..too many crybabies. It will happen to any class that someone cries, "it's op!"

the flip is ok in wvw..sometimes i can crit on the flip and kill someone 🙂

I'm going to dump my wvw engi back into crafting or JP chests. Can anybody recommend a good weaver/tempest build or even DD/DE post patch?

Ham Mech still works in WVW but rifle mech is dead unless a player is using the mortar kit. It's kitten. So what is the point of rifle now? I would like to have a Mech self destruct button so at least I can kill another player with it. lolz Hey devs..let the Mechanist merg with the bot like the Soulbeast!!! What a novel idea!!! Then no more wondering off 😞

After the patch...just lolz. Rifle feels too clunky and slow to react. Mech genius needs to be looked at as well. Like the others have stated...the mech really needs to stay next to the player instead of wondering off. The Mech needs should be change to a floating ball or something way smaller that doesn't wonder off. Hitting F6/F7 rarely works. I vote for a total redesign of the Mechanist at this point.

Two way exchange is a great idea.

The devs need to uncap the number of guilds we can have….maybe increase the number to 10 guilds then some of the roamers might have a home. My current guild slots are full and I’m not going to drop them.

The rewards in wvw are really lack luster. The skirmish claim tickets needs a major overhaul on amounts and distributions. I would take them to minimum of 500 / week and 5 tickets per chest afterwards. We also need a vendor to sell, buy, or exchange for all current game currencies, items, etc. Skirmish claim tickets should never be sold on TP. They have to be earned.
