  2. For sake of it, please bring it back. Probably all that was needed to say has been said. Why not follow the trend and make all longer channels like that? Next balance patch: Whirling Axe is just one bonk now. Also revert that Gunsaber rework from a while back that turned it into granade launcher thx.
  3. This topic will only adress core Thief and Daredevil. In Raids and IBS strike missions you always get one dedicated stolen skill depending on boss that usually gives you something useful and Thief reliable, flexible utility. In Spirit Vale you get Unstable Artefact, versus Gorseval you can use it to root ghosts for a long time and versus Sabetha it lets you pull downed ally out of danger. Against Samarog in w4 you get bomb that provides you with even more cc. From one bear in Voice and Claw you get aoe condition cleanse so your squad is not rooted for 11 years and in Boneskinner you get damage pool because whole thing is ticking time bomb. Even in pvp, when you steal from Warrior you always get Spinny Axe, etc. You get the point. But in EoD strikes they changed it and for some reason stolen skills are randomized, and it throws that extra Thief utility out of the window. You never know when will you get something useful or god kitten Blessing Seed from Minister Li (condi cleanse from boss that applies 0 condi, awesome). I would rather get Enchanted Ice 100% of the time than Cursed artifact 20% of the time because at least I have dependable 10% damage reduction buff and stability whenever my squad needs it. It's extremely annoying and I don't know why they would do that. Please in incoming strikes in SotO make bosses give only one stolen skill again. Or at least remove Time in Bottle because it's most useless ability anyone could come up with and I'm tired of getting it 4 times in a row.
  4. Back to topic, Aurene deserves more. I don't mind her being put down now, Dragon cycle is over etc. etc. and I guess she was too op. But just one instance with some dialogue? After all this? Come on. At least they tried a little.
  5. It doesn't, it's just budget necro in disguise, everything "Thief" was thrown out of the window in this spec.
  6. They were awful, using it is now awful, maybe they were looking at the right direction but stepped in totally wrong. I loved playing Bladesworn but I completely stopped even touching my warrior after those changes, tried to go back few times, but can't, gunsaber is just atrocious. Just completely revert it, then maybe buff dmg a little, make 2 have same cast time as 4 and it's good, this spec has so much mobility that it doesn't care about extra range anyway. rant over.
  7. I really hope anet changes it to be based on finished map achievements or something. And yeah, them being buggy as hell doesn't help, invisible crates tsk tsk. 🗿

  10. I hate these changes, hearing "boom" after every 1 attack is torture to ears, Bladesworn has so much mobility that it doesn't need extra range anyway. And Artillery Slash(3). Maybe before dmg of it wasn't too great too but I loved 3 tapping it for quick burst, and now? Slow, completely useless ability that everyone in wvw/pvp will have enough time to make dinner, get married, raise kids and dodge it. Yeah let's take underpowered ability and make it even worse, 10/10 logic. 2 is w/e I guess, still clunky as heck. It's not even that weak in pvp, before the patch when I was doing Decade of Dragons achievement across 12 matches I won 7, while also having Top stats 17 times. I'm a pve player, never toched pvp before, but somehow got 58% win rate with random build. Anyway I loved Bladesworn, but now it's dead spec to me, Anet for the love of god hotfix revert it.
  11. I found the entrance north of Lion's Arch, on the Replay: The Evacuations of Lion's Arch marker. (idk why it's there and not where you entered the instance the first time but ok 🗿) Fixed, can close.
  12. It was there when I was doing the story the first time, but now after restarting the episode it only leads to Scarlet's End. I'm afraid I'll have to replay whole chapter. 🗿
  13. I'm trying to get achievements from This Is My City! category and I can't find the entrance to re-enter Battle on the Breachmaker from lw1 chapter 5. Not a single violet star on map says it's gonna take me there and the entrance in Grand Plaza in The Battle for Lion's Arch instance leads only to Scarlet's End. Yes, I did finish whole LW.
  14. I hope you right, these few seconds can be quite big Higher cd on F1 equals less initiative, less endurance, less reliable utility (some stolen skills in raids/strikes are amazing), less condis applied, just overall way less dps.
  15. Wish they would just increase dmg ratios on base gunsaber skills, apparently that's all they can do for other specs, but naaah they gotta overcomplicate BSW for no reason even more. 🗿
  16. As title says, when I click one of the options all this whiteout happens, but npcs do not start talking, nor you can activate it. Plus when I'm chosing "Rytlock speaks his mind" option he appears after whiteout, but again, everyone's silent.
  17. Happened to me too, when I waited for them they just ran through icewall and there was nothing for me to do. Reseting instance once helped though.
  18. Raids, Strike missions, maybe other stuff. Just wanna talk about two abilities that condi thief can do damage with. I have love/hate relationship with Death Blossom In open world it's amazing (dodge frame, great for Sigil of Malice abuse, etc.), in 10 man content... not so much. Since it's a moving ability that locks you in animation you're guaranteed to get kittened at some point if it's your main dmg'ing tool. In Strike Missions it somehow works out, I can position so chains at Whisper won't kitten me or someone else over, at Boneskinner it's not adviced, but you can still use it if you know fight well. Other strikes are just dps checks so w/e. but I honestly can't imagine it being main tool at Deimos per example. He starts charging his knockback attack the moment you use DB and you just YEET out of the arena, not to mention oil, and that just one example (idk, I don't do raids often). Only way I can think of to change this ability without making it useless or op is to make it work like Berserker's Sundering Leap per example so you can chose distance you wanna fly, but having to double press ability you gotta spam... not the best for experience probably. The other ability that Condi Teef could use for PvE dps is Shadow Strike/Repeater, but constantly teleporting back 600 units isn't something you can do freely all the time too. Wiki says you can jump during SS animation to cancel TP yet still unlocking Repeater, but I still gotta check that, anyway, I doubt it's intentional. Changing ability itself would impact a lot wvw/pvp so no ideas. Yeah Ik there's already topic about DB, but I lost braincells reading pvp'ers ideas.
  19. Not really want to start new topic and I was slacking it off for long enough, but here's opinion from someone who actually plays d/d condi thief in pve. Previous buffs were really nice, hitting more targets with Death Blossom and more dmg from Thousand Needles is 👌 In short, these are dumb and I'm pissed that Anet keeps on pushing Bleeding instead of making Poison more available (gotta change my build...), but always something. In "long"... -Bleed on Wildstrike: Placebo buff, in raids d/d condi thief barely has time to basic attack between Death Blossom and Dodging with Lotus Training, but always something for times when you do actually press 1 or just in open world. It's nice. -Shortbow changes: Ehh, who gives a kitten, I doubt anybody's gonna use it for more than escaping or siegeing in wvw. -Cdr of Improvisation: Like anyone is gonna use it as long as it's between Potent Poision and Executioner, and random reset of 1 utility skill can apply to only one you didn't use yet. (Rng is cruel mistress) -Expertise on Preparedness: Free stats, ain't complaining. -Deadly Ambush: It's going to be a must for pure dps builds, unfortunately. On it's own it's gonna be pretty good, but you already can see people not pleased with changing Confusion to Bleed. I'm unhappy because now I'll have to take this instead of Sleight of Hand. Daze for breakbars + 20% Steal cdr is a huge loss, considering Steal with Trickery restores Initiative + applies huge poison damage from Deadly Arts. Wish they could maybe split effects between other traits, maybe Bleed on steal would go to Kleptomaniac or Trickster per example. Or just totally replace Pressure Striking, is anybody even using that? (since it works on enemies with breakbar only) What I wish they would do: -Make Havoc Specialist increase condi damage too becasue for some reason it doesn't. -Superspeed no longer increase distance traveled by Death Blossom: Why buff that thief can't apply on their own has affect on their ability, not to mention landing 2 yards further because of it can kill you. Like why, can someone explain these two phenomenons to me?

First, I actually play condi Thief in pve and I play it everywhere: open world, strike missions (not doing best dmg in group but enough to don't get kicked), dungeons (jk, who does dungs in 2020, lul), and raids (IF I was doing them (too lazy to start).Because I want to and I'm stubborn little B****, that's why. Moving on... Buff to Hundred Needles was actually pretty decent, 2 extra seconds of bleed for every tick and there's 5 of them... I'll leave the math to you. But here are buffs I think might help condi Thief even more without accidentally breaking him and making redditors type like they have 5 minutes left to live:Some are better ideas, some are worse... -Small dmg buff to Dealy ambition -Cd reduction of Panic strike by at least 5 seconds -Make Havoc Specialist buff condi dmg aswell, not only psychical (like holy F, why it doesn't) -Change torment (or bleed, wouldn't mind) dmg of Impaling Lotus to poison-Make Thousand Needles apply immobilize again after 3 seconds (for Panic Strike proc) -Increase radius of Venom abilities so its easier to hit ur squadmates -Reduce cd of Imparing Daggers to 20 seconds -Make applying Superspeed do not increase the distance traveled using Death Blossom (like holy F, why it does) -Or just make it do not move your char if you don't press W or something. -Increase bleed stacks of Death Blossom but reduce the duration (with almost every boss having inv phase...) -Add to some trait 20% reduced cd of Venom abilities That's all I can think of ...for PvE I repeat (before angry pvp-ers attack). Obviously I don't think all of this should be added to the game, that might be too much. Ps: I'm p sure that all Anet will take from this post is that Hundred Needles was overbuffed and revert the change. (^:
