  1. Oh, you're right. Seems like it applies before discipline does, and then discipline lowers the CD by a further 4s, as opposed to the other way around. Interesting... But regardless, the point still stands. Relic of Warrior desyncs weapon swap modifiers. Would be great to have it work cleanly with other classes too, like ranger quickdraw, rev, traits, sigils, etc, let alone the class it shares it's name with. Has a lot of potential to be build-defining on a number of classes.
  2. I'll add some things I've had on mind, hopefully ANET sees this feedback. I'd like to see some "build-defining" runes return. One I used to always play around was Rune of Radiance, with the 33% aura duration increase. It's gone, but ANET should definitely bring it back. Additionally, Relic of the Warrior has a TONNE of potential. This is a great rune that can really change how you play, but now unusable. Ranger could be a great user with it's Quick Draw trait, but that has a 9s ICD, which de-syncs it with the relic. Same thing with untamed ambushes. Same thing with other class weapon swap traits that have a 9s ICD. Also, Relic of the Warrior doesn't even work on Warrior anymore. Recently it went from 20%>>25%, and therefore no longer works with Disciple. A bit of tweaking here and there and a lot of classes could be having fun with this.
  3. @ANET, not exactly related to staff, but the Relic of the Warrior doesn't line up with Disciple anymore. 3.75s weapon swap, traits require 4s. I'd also love to see Relic of the Warrior work with Quick Draw on Ranger, which has a 9s ICD instead of just "when weapon swapping". Give the relic some love, it's a fun one!
  4. Can we get rune of radiance back as a relic? Was a fun and build-defining set effect.
  5. This has been a regularly recurring topic since PoF was released. Probably the most requested SLB change ever. Insult to injury, Untamed comes out, immediately implementing the change we've been asking for years. Totally ignored and avoided at this point.
  6. After years of Soulbeast players begging for the fart cloud to be removed, they promptly remove it from the new elite spec during beta. Feelsbadman. @Arenanet, can we see this done already? It's long overdue.
  7. Rune of trapper: Just remove the stealth in PvP, leave superspeed. Small and easy change to make.
  8. At least in PVP, all scourge really needs is a cast time and animation on F5, and an ICD on Feed from Corruption.
  9. I'll vote nay. I've always wanted a tribal/hunter themed ranger which sacrifices its pet and uses a spear (or focus, rifle or some such). Too many weapons and themes that make way more sense over hammer.
  10. Not to mention the mandatory green fart cloud that still doesn't have a client-side toggle option - kind of culls enjoyment for character design on my main. Swappable soul-pets are a good idea for an elite spec. The system was already in place with Revenant stances prior to PoF. Combine Soulbeast and rev stances and you have a perfectly functional implementation of a petless ranger. Hopefully the next expac can deliver a petless ranger take - as playing truly petless on ranger would probably be the single biggest thing to differentiate and deliver on what elite spec is supposed to be; a fresh way to play your class.
  11. Hot-keyable inventory slots (thinking mostly about bundle items here). Current implementation of using consumables and bundle items is tedious. I've always wanted to hotkey my Watchwork Portal Device, Harpy Feathers or Throw Gunk I bought from the Skritt, or whatever other interesting gismo I've sourced from a vendor out in the world. They are flavourable, fun, but currently tedious to use with how you need to open your inventory and double click each time. There's honestly something delightful about finding a vendor, purchasing bundle items, then using them in your adventures; an MMO experience that feels somewhat lacking in GW2. Could offer a lot, be very easy to implement (and monetize like shared inventory slots if so desired), and be an easy way for Anet to add more flavour to the open world experience. Easy to expand upon as well by releasing new bundles items, which with hotkeyable inventory space, actually becomes substantial "content". IE; by having hotkeys, you essentially recieve new skills for your class, and opens up an underused facet of exploration and buildcraft. Yes please.
  12. Yeah, not sure what's going on then. I can stand next to the golem in melee AA range and still miss the F2. Might be due to my Australian ping (260 avg), but I suspect GS #3 would have the exact same issue in that case, which it doesn't for me. I wonder if it's race/gender animation related?
  13. I think OP might mean a Lightning Reflexes and Lightning Aura interaction, where if you use lightning reflexes into an enemy with lightning aura, your entire skill is cancelled because it has a small bit of dmg on it. Not sure if it works like that, but it's likely.
  14. Soulbeast merged with a gazelle. The F2 (Charge) skill is buggy as anything, only lands about 60% of the time on stationary targets (target golem). If the target is moving away from you, it never lands (moving golem in PvP lobby). Please, fix this skill haha. I love it, since it feels like I'm playing a warrior, but it needs to actually hit. You run, then stop for about 1 second, and perform what appears to actually be a 90 range headbutt. This doesn't explain why it can't even hit a stationary target half the time, however. Putting pets aside, which are a whole other story themselves, at least fix buggy ranger skills, since those are what you actually use yourself and feel the impact of directly. I'd love for this to be a start and get de-clunked. Ah, and while we're at it, here's another one; please remove the long pre-cast on Sword #3. It animation locks you in place, and feels super clunky. Look to Daredevil Staff #3 for inspiration. It does the same thing. Hits them, then evades backwards, but casts instantly.
  15. Since Anet already dabbled with petless, I would love a true petless spec. Hammer or spear. We had support. We had condi. Now I'd like a viable power DPS. A 'Hunter' that sacrifices their pet... And recieves animal totems (similar to Rev stances, but just effect your F1-5 buttons). High single target power DPS. No more utility, jack-of-all-trades, and support. Make power DPS viable! A hunter or stalker duelist spec, where you sacrifice your pet and depending on the archaetype, you recieve a totem to match... Like if it's a cat, you recieve the 'Stalkers Totem' with applies constant superspeed when moving toward your enemies, or if it's a bear type you recieve some sort of tanky or stable totem. After Soulbeast, I hope for a cool, fun and flavourful spec next time.
