  1. To fix this, we temporarily removed crab toss from the list of possible dailies. Instead you now just have to wait for 5 minutes in front of the lion's arch festivities NPC.
  2. Yeah, solution is to remove valdhertz instead of just fixing it after over a year, but hey, they are probably busy working on the next expansion. At this point, I'm sure, Anet is run by an AI that develops the code or at least the ideas what to change. xD
  3. Mirage liked the Regeneration from the current iteration(before relics) they now removed for some more leeway in BoonDuration. Necro'ing this thread seems okay in hindsight; who would have thought they could kill a rune twice? :D
  4. This one aged poorly :P Looks like there are actually a lot of downsides coming with the wizard vault.^^"
  5. Give Anet some slack, there are like 8 people working on this stuff and 5 of those are fresh interns. Sure, the Dailies have been a step back (No more Coop and being forced into 4 out of 4) and that's it for horizontal progression with those relics (Especially since Non-Xpac-Owner didn't even get the compensation relic), but they also took away some of the things we liked to play with (Quite a few Runes actually), so all in all I'd say it could have only been better if they stopped messing with the game at all and send it please into maintenance mode already. (Revert back to before summer tho) That the xpac itself is a reused bugFest with a lot of "Oh hey, remember this from GW1 or smth" was known before, but I'm sure it's at least their last expansion :D (Maybe not, there have been quite some fools preordering this stuff [because of addiction mostly tho and not because they've been actually hyped]) Hats off to Rubi tho, she's an angel and it's not her fault everyone else just forked up the GW2 Design lately 🤷‍♀️
  6. Not being able to do Dailies with your friends since they might have different ones is terrible. Being locked into 4 out of 4 is also a step back. No doubt, it was, like most things they change lately, better before.
  7. Also it seems that you need to buy the expansion to get the Relic Chest they announced to compensate the loss of the 6th rune. Old system was better. Don't get fooled into supporting those ppl anymore. Wayfarer's Reverie starts in 3 days. GW1 still better, good thing they stopped messing with that game years ago.
  8. It's not too late to just revert to before the last patch instead :3
  9. Good thing I quit already last week, because now also losing 3Mirrors on F4 with Mirage thx to having to pick the new trait is just another nerf on top Oo Dont take those folk serious, at this point they are just trolling. Also double down on Alac via CA on Drood is still stupid. Chrono still can't generate Quick ooc and scourge also still looks bad. Reverting the patch would still be better than this mess. At least you dropped the preview before the xpac announcement, I know who won't buy any of your new crap xD
  10. chrono won't be able once the patch drops tho since you need targets for phantasms around 😕
  11. I did all the stages of grief and am now at acceptance to just quit and not care much further. Haven't logged it once since the preview and touched some grass. Turns out, other devs also have pretty games. Quite the easiest solution. They gonna make more money with a heavily fluctuating playerbase anyway so I shouldn't see myself as the target audience at all. *shrug*
  12. Yes, we should obviously couple a free set of raid armor with every gemstore level 80 boost! And while we're at it, give out some Infusions and RaidSkins with it. Maybe drop a free Gen2 Leggy in as well. Imagine having to play the harder parts of the game to get your gear. Or a vendor, for 250Carrots, 250Copper Ingots and 250Legendary Fish you should be able to get a piece of leggy armor at least. There needs to be a Fishing-Only Leggy Armor! /s
  13. Just use mostly vipers and add one or two cele pieces (try to stay below 150 toughness) and add a Concentration Sigil to each of your weaponsets. Should be enough, if you time your mirrors well; if not, bring more cele pieces and just mention in raids with toughness encounter, how much toughness you have, so the tank can bring slightly more. (Shouldn't matter much unless you're in a MinMax run for hard content; for those harder encounter I'd recommend getting EoD/Rit Gear anyway obv.) You will lose some dps when switching Sigils/not wearing Rit, but if you do well on your Rotation and spam those keys, it should be fine for most part. ❤️
  14. While I totally agree on the quick/alac part on paper, I'm afraid it would go back to the balance nightmare the more individual approach was. Take spirits for example, the unique boons they provided could proof mandatory if personal dps would still be kinda comparable (within n-1 times x % of dps compared to other dps specs with n being the number of targeted allies of said individual boon and x being the dps increase, so roughlt 20% for a 5%dmg spirit). That could, if balanced poorly, result in 4Warrior1Chrono comps because chrono brings the best individual boon and warri is dps of the month. Alac/Quick is means to have more roles/niches to be required to bring with for more spec diversity. Having that many unique but still balanced elite specs to handle is surely a monumental task for any gamedev, but that's also why Healscg for Boneskinner or Handkite or TowerMesmer are so beautiful ways to tackle this by creating even more niches for builds to shine and that's where the line should be crossed. They shouldn't sacrifice special niches for just more alac/quick. It's fine if there's a spec that is awesome for open world solo bounties/dungeons but might be lacking in endgame dps if played poorly(Mirage), a spec that can tank while providing alac and quick on cost of dps and in return frees the healer from needing to bring alac/quick for more viable comp options. With different endgame types and encounter this ensures that some specs surpass others for some content but are a tad behind on other encounter. This way quick and alac are fine, maybe tune em down a bit and add that to the baseline. tldr: Quick and Alac can work if they don't sacrifice unique stuff to have it on every profession/spec; just removing quick/alac would only make it harder to balance and instead they should just try to let specs be unique in their own niches/roles, but kinda comparable overall. (Also don't kill Mirage's Dodge in PvE, I can't stress that out enough^^)
